George Durilla
George O. Durilla, 51, of 20 White Oak, Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning R.1,
died Tuesday in the emergency room of Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Remel A. (Kropp) Durilla. He was employed at All
Steel in the Valmont Industrial Park, West Hazleton, for 18 years.
Mrs. Dolores Smith
Mrs. Dolores Smith, 65, of 3428 Michelle Drive, New Carlisle, Ohio,
died Sunday in her home.
Mrs. Gerard Southern
Mrs. Gloria Southern, 55, of 7022 Galgate Drive, Spring, Va.,
formerly of Tamaqua, died last Thursday, Aug. 15, in her home. She was
the wife of Gerard Southern.
Henry M. Hochmiller
Henry M. Hochmiller, 86, of Towamensing Township died Tuesday
evening in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He was the
husband of the late Margaret K. (Ferry) Hochmiller, who died in Sept. 1994.
He was a retired coal miner, having last worked for the former
Nesquehoning Colliery. Later he worked for the former Genetti's Food
Market, Lehighton.
Irene F. Trojan
Mrs. Irene F. Trojan, 70, of 225 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, died this
morning at Kutztown Manor, Kutztown. She was the widow of Leonard
Trojan. She worked at the former Roseanau Brothers, Kiddie Kloes, and
Jonathan Logan dress factories, all in Lansford.

Stephen A. Horvath
Stephen Alex Horvath, 18, of 362 Spruce St., Walnutport, died
Tuesday in the Children's Hospital, Philadelphia.
Mrs. Margaret H. Eckert
Margaret H. Eckert, of 19 Lentz Ave., Lehighton, died Wednesday in
the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was the widow of
Willard M. Eckert, who died this past Jan. 2.
William G. Jones
William G. Jones, 73, of 1745 Collone Ave., Bethlehem, died Tuesday
in his home. He was the husband of the late Althea M. (Weaver) Jones, who
died last August. He was a machine operator in the beam yeards of the
Bethlehem Steel Corporation for over 40 years before retiring.
Miller services
Graveside services for Kyle and Amy Miller, the West Penn Township
couple who died last month in the TWA Flight 800 crash off Long Island,
N.Y., will be held Monday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Christ Evangelical Free
Church Cemetery , Mahoning Valley. Family and friends are invited to
attend.
Mrs. Forrest A. Wessner Jr.
Mrs. Diana M. Wessner, 47, of Germansville, died Tuesday in the
Lehigh Vallety Hospital, Salisbury Township, She was the wife of Forrest
A. Wessner Jr. They observed their 31st wedding anniversary last
November. She was a farmer in the Heidelberg Township area for the past
35 years.
Mrs. Annie M. Paules
Mrs. Annie M. Paules, 68, of State Street, formerly of Chestnut
Street, both in Pottstown, died Wednesday in the Manatawny Manor, East
Coventry Township, Chester County. She was the widow of Claude W.
Paules. She was a seamstress for the former Sunset Manufacturing
Company, Pottstown.
Edward R. Romig
Edward R. Romig, 75, of the Hometown Nursing Center, Tamaqua R.1,
formerly of Allentown, died Tuesday in the Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical
Center. He was an accountant for the Lehigh Portland Cement Company for
10 years before retiring in 1970.
Durilla services
A Mass of Christian Burial for George O. Durilla, 51, of 20 White Oak,
Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning R.1, who died Tuesday in the Gnaden Huetten
Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, followed by interment
in the
Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. A calling hour will be held in the
church prior to the Mass.
