Mrs. Louis S. Clauser
Mrs. Janice I. Clauser, 54, of 324 W. Washington St., Slatington, died Wednesday in her home. She was the wife of Louis S. Clauser. They observed their 32nd wedding anniversary last month.
She was a sewing machine operator for Paris Accessories, Walnutport, for 22 years until 1994.
Born in Schnecksville, she was a daughter of the late Edwin M. and Hilda M. (Stopp) Newhard.
She was a member of Neffs United Church of Christ and the Women of the Moose, Slatington.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Cynthia L., wife of Dennis C. Reitz of Palmerton; a brother, Robert G. of Schnecksville; and two grandchildren.
Barry Richard Keith
Barry Richard Keith, 56, of Port Orange, Fla., formerly of Kunkletown, died Sunday in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania Military School, Chester, he was a civil engineer for the state of New Jersey, having last worked in Sussex County and retiring in 1990.
Born in Glen Gardner, N.J., he was a son of the late Harry and Mary (Principati) Keith.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of the V.F.W. Post of Clinton, N.J.
Surviving are a son Brian of Nazareth; two daughters, Mary of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Elizabeth of Monterey, Calif.; a sister, Brenda Dalrymple of Forks Township; his fiancee, Nina Solomon, with whom he resided; and a granddaughter.
Horace H. Smith
Horace H. Smith, 84, of Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort, formerly of Allentown, died Wednesday in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Mabel (Siegfried) Smith of Allentown. They observed their 46th wedding anniversary in October.
He was a forge operator for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 27 years before retiring in 1977.
Born in Gilbert, he was a son of the late John and Lizzie (Greenamoyer) Smith.
He was a member of St. Andrew United Church of Christ, Allentown.
Smith was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W. Post, Stroudsburg.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Lamar of Gilbert; two brothers, James of Gilbert and Wesley of Winter Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Myra Beck and Iva Nenscel, both of Gilbert; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Minnie E. Rex
Mrs. Minnie E. Rex, 88, of 4513 Mountain Road, Slatington, died Wednesday in her home. She was the widow of Sherwood Rex.
Born in Lehigh Furnace, Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Nancy (German) Neff.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Slatedale.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Irene Williams of Slatington; and nieces and nephews.
Clifford M. Zimmerman
Clifford M. Zimmerman, 58, of 10257 Schantz Road, Breinigsville, died Wednesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Werley) Zimmerman. They observed their 37th wedding anniversary in April.
He worked in the maintenance department of Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown and Macungie, for 34 years before retiring in November.
Born in Maxatawny, he was a son of Mrs. Pearl V. (Schlegel) Zimmerman of Breinigsville and the late Herman C. Zimmerman.
He was a member of the Weisenberg Lutheran Church, new Tripoli, where he served on the building and finance committee and was a former council member and youth advisor.
Zimmerman was a member of the board of the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club, Coopersburg, having served as its vice president, 1981-83, and president, 1983-84.
He served in the National Guard, Kutztown, from 1956-64.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mother are a son, Randal S. of North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County; a daughter, Cynthia A., wife of Richard P. Moyer Jr. of Wescosville; a brother, Donald H. of Fleetwood; and four grandchildren.
Jacob J. Repanshek
Jacob J. Repanshek, 87, of 919 W. 19th St., Hazleton, died early Wednesday at the Berwick Retirement Village. He was the husband of Mary 'Mamie' (Furnanage) Repanshek.
He has owned several food markets and was a food service worker before retirement.
Born in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Broyan) Repanshek.
He was a member of Holy Trinity (German) Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, J. Joseph of Brighton, Mich., and Mark of Rosewell, Ga.; a daughter, Jacqueline, wife of Stephen Kutz of Hazleton; four sisters, Sister Mary Victor of the sisters of Mercy, Dallas, Luzerne County, Mrs. Bernard (Elizabeth) Strubinger of Jim Thorpe, Agnes Caccese of Hazleton, and Ann Verichia of Lehigh, Fla.; four brothers, Frank of Hazleton, Vincent of Drums, Lawrence of Hyannis, Mass., and John of Rock Ledge, Fla.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and a sister, Theresa.
Mary Fields
Mary Fields of 404 W. Kline Ave., Lansford, died Wednesday in Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Dombrosky) Fields.
The Al M. Sverchek Funeral Home, Powell and E. Bertsch streets, Lansford, is in charge of the arrangements.
Charles D. Fridirici
Charles D. Fridirici, 83, of 201 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, died Wednesday in Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Beatrice M. (Campbell) Fridirici who died in 1989.
He retired in 1978 as superintendent of the Tamaqua Borough Sewer Plant.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Ulysses G. and Ellen I. (Zehner) Fridirici.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.
He also belonged to the Tamaqua Sewer Authority, and was a member and past field trial secretary of the Carbon Beagle Club in Andreas.
He was a 1931 honors graduate of Tamaqua High School, and was an Army veteran of World War Il.
Surviving is a son, Paul H. Fridirici of Tamaqua, and two grandchildren.

Michael Vonetsky
Michael Vonetsky 81, of 412 W. Iron St., Summit Hill, died Wednesday, at Manor Care Health Service in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Frances (Krupovchin) Vonetsky.
He was employed for the PennDOT for several years.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Ignatius and Julia Vonetsky.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Summit Hill, the Lansford AMVETS, and the Italian Club of Summit Hill.
Surviving is a sister, Stephanie Regal of Hometown, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Ruckle.
