Mrs. Marion R. Strohl
Mrs. Marion R. Strohl, 92, of 2155 Little Gap Road, Palmerton, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Earl W. Strohl. She and her late husband owned and operated Strohl's Grove, Palmerton, for 35 years. Following his death in 1966, she continued the operation for 21 years. They also operated a soft ice cream stand at the same location.
Ronald F. Tuckett
Ronald F. Tuckett, 42, formerly of Tamaqua R.3, died Tuesday in the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Janet K. and Joseph A. Coleman of Tamaqua. The deceased was the husband of Brenda K. (Gerber) Tuckett.
They observed their seventh wedding anniversary in May.
Mrs. Nelson McLean
Mrs. Anna Pauline McLean, 66, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Nesquehoning, died Aug. 27 in the Valley Hospital Medial Center, Las Vegas. She was the wife of Nelson McLean.
Scott W. Houser Sr.
Scott W. Houser Sr., 39, of 217 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, died Wednesday in the home of his mother, Mrs. Mildred (Witherich) Houser of 50 W. Fifth St., Jim Thorpe. The deceased was the husband of Angel (Otto) Houser. He was employed by the Hobman Corporation, Jim Thorpe.
Carolyne J. Englehart
Carolyne J. Englehart, 48, of 317 First St., Weatherly, died Wednesday in the Hazleton General Hospital. She was employed as a nurses' aid at Weatherwood, the Carbon County Home for the Aged, Weatherly.
Florence L. Houser
Florence L. (Berk) Houser, formerly of Tamaqua and new Ringgold, died Wednesday afternoon in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton. She was the widow of the late Charles R. Houser.

Charles F. Gerber
Charles F. Gerber, 94, of Tamaqua R.1, formerly of Tamaqua, died Sunday in the Orwigsburg Manor Nursing Home, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Schoch) Gerber, who died in 1985. He was a layout man for the former Alcoa Aluminum Company, Cressona, from 1943 until retiring in 1960. Gerber was a Navy veteran.
Harold I. Kistler
Harold I. Kistler, 77, of 25 Royer St., New Ringgold, died Monday in his home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy I. (Burkey) Kistler, who died last year. He was a locomotive driver and powder disposer at Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds, from 1941 until retiring in 1981. Kistler was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mrs. Myrtle S. Weaver
Mrs. Myrtle S. Weaver, 59, of 312 Market St., Tamaqua, died Monday in her home. She was the widow of William B. Weaver. She was a home health aide for Schuylkill County Area Agency for Aging.
Rev. John G. Pasura
The Rev. John G. Pasura, 50, of Holy Family Villa for Priests, 1325 Prospect Ave., Bethlehem, died Monday in his family residence in Spring Township, Berks County. He was assistant pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church, Reading, since 1987. Prior to that he had served at St. John the Baptist de LaSalle, Shillington, 1982-87; St. Canicus Church, Mahanoy City, 1980-82; St. Ursula Church, Fountain Hill, 1978-80; St. Francis Church, Allentown, 1977-1978; Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1976- 77; St. Paul Church, Reading, 1972-76; and St. Mary Church, Reading, 1972.
Mrs. Pauline H. Mack
Mrs. Pauline H. Mack, 80, of 3756 Main St., Slatington died Monday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the widow of Harvey A. Mack. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Paris Neckwear, Walnutport, for 22 years before retiring in 1979.
Earl A. Woodring
Earl A. "Boots" Woodring, 76, of 266 Hudsondale St., Weatherly, and a recent guest at Weatherwood, Weatherly, died Monday in Hazleton General Hospital. He was the husband of Eva (Keller) Woodring. Prior to retiring he was employed as a coremaker at the Weatherly Foundry. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in New Guinea with the Army Engineers as a sergeant.
Mrs. Robert T. Brecker Sr.
Mrs. Margaret L. Brecker, 67, of 1038 Walnut St., Ashland, died Monday morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville. She was the wife of Robert T. Brecker Sr. They were married for 49 years. She had been employed as an inspector for Shaw Plastics of Stroudsburg until her retirement in 1989.
Charles J. Haydt
Charles James "Charlie" Haydt, 72, of Long Neck, Del., formerly of Allentown, died Saturday in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. He was the husband of Jean (Troxell) Haydt. They were married for 53 years. He was a sales representative for Halls Motors Transit, Kutztown R.3, and Tiger International, Allentown, and previously was a truck driver for York Motors Express and an employee of Air Reduction Co., Bethlehem. Haydt was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
