Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia G. Kellet, 43, of Tamaqua R.2, Box 572, who died Tuesday in her home following a lengthy illness, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday from the Roche Funeral Home, 237 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Pine Street, Tamaqua, and interment
in the Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, Tamaqua R.2. Calling hours are scheduled from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
The deceased was the wife of David A. Kellet and the daughter of Louise (Allison) Shellhamer of Tamaqua and the late Russell H. Shellhamer.
Paul J. Snear
Paul J. Snear, 71, of 58 Tamaqua St., Beaver Meadows, a former Weatherly resident, died Tuesday morning in the Hazleton General Hospital.
Before retiring, he worked as a maintenance man for 37 years at the Tung-Sol plant in Weatherly.
Born in Weatherly, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Stritz) Snear.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Beaver Meadows, and an honorary member of the Citizens Fire Company of Weatherly.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
The last member of his immediate family, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and George; and four sisters, Mary Sear, Catherine Earley, Theresa Snear and Anna Miller.
Mrs. Elizabeth M. Bitsko
Mrs. Elizabeth M. Bitsko, 84, of 238 E. Ridge St., Lansford, died Tuesday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of John Bitsko, who died in 1990.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Julianna (Mermon) Maruschak.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Marie, wife of John Williams, with whom she resided; three sisters, Susan Macenka of Audubon, Pa., Helen Maholick of Dunedin, Fla., and Irene Rudowsky of Coaldale; two grandsons and a great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Julia M., Eva, Anna, Mary Kusko and Anna Maruschak; and a brother Michael.
The Roche Funeral Home-McNamara Chapel, 3 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is in charge of the arrangements.
Lester H. Behr
Lester H. Behr, 89, of Tamaqua R.3, died Monday evening in his home. He was the husband of Mamie M. (Billman) Behr. They observed their 62nd wedding anniversary last July.
He was a grinder for the former Diversified Metals Company, Hometown, Tamaqua R.2, for seven years before retiring in 1975, and previously was the owner of and a tailor at the former Speedy Cleaners, Tamaqua, from the 1940s to the 1960s. During the World War II years, he worked for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late John and Caroline (Rice) Behr.
He was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Lehighton.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a brother John of Boney Brook, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Archie J. Fenstermaker
Mrs. Stella I. Fenstermaker, 64, of 2676 Kern Road, Danielsville, died Tuesday in the Muhlenberg Hospital Center, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Archie J. Fenstermaker.
She was a machine operator for the former Collins and Aikman, Pen Argyl, for 13 years, and later was a domestic. She retired in 1991.
Born in Moore Township, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Alta (Smith) Remaley.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mary E. of Hellertown and Bonnie L. Garren, at home; a brother Llewellyn of Bushkill Township; two sisters, Pauline Lorrah of Nazareth and Catherine Walters of Saylorsburg; and five grandchildren.
William S. Houser
William S. Houser, 73, of Reynolds, Tamaqua R.3, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Faye (Keich) Houser.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as a coal miner, having last worked at the No. 9 Mine of the Lehigh Navigation Coal Company.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Nathan C. and Carrie (Hoffman) Houser.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a life member of the American Hose Company, Tamaqua.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Bruce S. of Tamaqua; a daughter Louise, wife of James Davison of Reynolds; a half-brother, George S. Hoffman of Coaldale; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Kermit B. Yenser Sr.
Mrs. Hilda A. Yenser, 83, of 2646 High Hill Road, Slatington, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Kermit B. Yenser Sr. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary last November.
Born in Treichlers, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Rodenhauser) Druckenmiller.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Kermit B. Jr., four daughters, Mrs. Nancy Drumtra, Mrs. Sharon Cheesbrough, Mrs. Bonnie Colver and Judith, and a sister Joyce, wife of Gordon Christman, all of Slatington; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Helen Bechtel Zulik
Mrs. Helen Bechtel Zulik, 91, formerly of 2 E. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, died Tuesday in Weatherwood, Weatherly. She was the widow of Adam Zulik.
At one time, she was a child governess in Washington, D.C. She later worked for the former Weis Department Store, Lansford.
Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Antoinette (Otto) Bechtel.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nesquehoning.
The deceased was a past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 172, Nesquehoning, and also held various positions with the state and four-county auxiliary levels.
She was one of the founding members of the Nesquehoning Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a son, William A. of Nesquehoning; two brothers, Louis of Beaver Meadows and Lawrence of Summit Hill; a sister, Francis Bamford of Harrisburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Al.
