Mrs. Wilbert Anthony
Mrs. LaRue E. Anthony, 76, of 95 Remaly Lane, Palmerton, died Sunday in her home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Wilbert M. Anthony. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last December.
She last worked as a presser at the former Barson & Bishop Company, Palmerton, retiring in 1979 with 23 years of service. Prior to that, she worked for the former Natilie Fashions, Palmerton.
Born in Ashtown, Mahoning Township, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Florence (Miller) Andreas.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquishicola.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Robert M. of Palmerton and Brian L. of Kunkletown; a daughter Beverly, wife of Barry Ramaly of Palmerton; two sisters, Eleanore, wife of Michael Perhonich, and Betty, wife of Edward Williams, both of Palmerton; three brothers, Franklin of Lehighton, Nevin of Bowmanstown and Donald of Palmerton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nicholas Kost Jr.
Mrs. Helen V. Kost, 76, of 220 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, died Sunday in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of Nicholas Kost Jr. Thety observed their 50th wedding anniversary last Sept. 28.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Andreas) Zell.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Richard F. of Palmerton; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret J. Sander of Bowmanstown, Mrs. Marie Dennis of Jim Thorpe and Elinor, wife of Leroy Hall of Augusta, Ga.; two granddaughters, four step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Edward.

Alex Suda
Alex Suda, 81, of 10 W. High St., Coaldale, died Monday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he was a patient for four days. He was the husband of the late Mary (Woznisky) Suda, who died in 1991.
He was a fireman for the former Coaldale State General Hospital before retiring.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Peter and Pary (Polansky) Suda.
He was a member of St. Mary Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. Paul, pastor of St. Alexander Navsky Russian Orthodox Church, Pittsburgh; two daughters, Pauline, wife of Edward F. Bachert, and Sandra, wife of John D. Miller, both of Whitehall Township; three sisters, Mildred Bowski and Helen, both of Whitehall, and Ann, wife of Bernard Pisko of Hauto Valley Estates, Nesquehoning; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Stephen, Theodore, Peter and Wash; and a sister Mary.

Grant H. Rarick
Grant R. Rarick, 73, of East Stroudsburg, died Monday in the Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Mabel S. Rarick, who died in 1994.
He was a carpenter for Edinger and Wyckoff Construction Company, Stroudsburg, for 30 years, and was also a millman for the Lehigh Lumber Company, Stroudsburg, for several years.
Born in Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Henry and Lizzie (Fish) Rarick.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
Surviving is a daughter, Elaine Gould of Gilbert.
Joseph Hubitsky Jr.
Joseph Hubitsky Jr., 84, of Pottsville, died Saturday in the Pottsville General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Frances T. (Colitz) Hubitsky.
He was a Pennsylvania state trooper for 30 years before retiring in 1968 as a sergeant in charge of the Mahanoy City substation. Previously, he was stationed in Pottsville, Hamburg, Lebanon, Tamaqua, Schuylkill Haven, Indiantown Gap, Annville, Lebanon County, and Reading.
He entered the state police in 1938 and received his training at the former Myerstown School in Lebanon County.
Born in Packerton, he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Pauline (Sabluk) Hubitsky.
He was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church, Saint Clair, and a life member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 65.
Surviving are a brother Paul of Lehighton; three sisters, Rheta Mucka and Margaret, both of Bethlehem, and Pauline Thear of Nesquehoning; and nieces and nephews.
Richard B. Reichelderfer
Richard Bacon Reichelderfer, 91, formerly of 25 Ridge St., Lansford, died Monday in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Leah (Hiester) Reichelderfer, who died Sept. 25, 1990.
He worked for the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company before retiring.
Born in Lansford, he was a son of the late Frank and Maude (Bacon) Reichelderfer.
He was an Army veteran.
Reichelderfer was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, American Fire Company No. 1 and the American Legion Post, all of Lansford.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dolores M. Dietrich
Mrs. Dolores M. Dietrich, 56, of 221 S. Haas St., Topton, died Monday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She worked in the maintenance department of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., Trexlertown, for the past 10 years, and previously was a sewing machine operator for the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, for more than 20 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Elwood C. Miller and Rose C. (Paul) Miller Weiss and a stepdaughter of the late Robert E. Weiss.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton.
Surviving are a daughter Diane, wife of Dale R. Rohrbach of Mertztown; a son, Donald J. of New Tripoli; a brother, Elwood D. Miller of Orefield; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Anthony Androshick
Mrs. Catherine M. Androshick, 70, of 108 N. 16th St., Pottsville, died Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville. She was the wife of Anthony Androshick. They were married for 44 years.
She worked as a dental hygienist with the late Dr. Samuel Asher of Pottsville.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hanlon) Zehner.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Pottsville.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Marie A. of Sugarloaf; a sister, Audrey McLaughlin of Rotonda, Fla.; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Sheerer, Verna Lohin and Joan Ryan.
Edward G. Dziadosz
Edward G. "Lefty" Dziadosz, 65, of 436 E. Center St., Mahanoy City, died Sunday night in the Heights Nursing Home at Locust Mountain, Shenandoah Heights. He was the husband of Margaret (McKenzie) Dziadosz.
He worked most of his life in the HTL Division of General Cigar, when it was located in Mahanoy City.
Born in Mahanoy City, he was a son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Morba) Dziadosz.
A 1950 graduate of Mahanoy City High School, he was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Mahanoy City.
He served with the Army during the Korean War.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Edward A. of Mahanoy City; six sisters, Mary Ryan of Allentown, Helen Kotch of Tuscarora, Elizabeth Kowalick and Josephine Peel, both of Mahanoy City, Francene Smilley in Oklahoma and Rose Jadosh; a granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
Mary O. Crum
Mrs. Mary O. Crum, 97, of Box 109A, New Ringgold R1, died Monday in her home. She was the wife of the late James Crum.
Prior to retiring, she had been employed as an office manager for the Sun Oil Company, Philadelphia.
Born in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah W. and Clara Mae Thompson.
She is survived by a brother, Paul Thompson of Tamaqua; and several nieces and nephews.

Petronella Shatusky
Mrs. Petronella (Zelinska) Shatusky, 94, of Townsend Road, Schenectady, N.Y., died April 18 in the Hallmark Nursing Center, Rotterdam, N.Y. She was the wife of the late Anthony Shatusky, who died in 1969.
She was born in Lithuania and formerly resided in Tamaqua.
She is survived by a daughter, Matilda Boyle of Niskayuna, N.Y.; two step-daughters, Helen Danys of Lamont, Ill., and Violet Poleway of Charleston, W. Va.; a sister, Anna Stepanauskas of Lithuania; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Interment was in SS. Peter and Paul's Parish Cemetery , Owl Creek.
Bretz relation
Bertine G. "Tootie" Bretz, 95, formerly of 227 North St., Jim Thorpe, who died Monday morning in the Gnaden Huetten Nursing Center, Lehighton, was also preceded in death by a brother Harry "Mickey" Bretz.
