Darryl R. Wolford
Darryl R. Wolford, 57, formerly of Slatington, died Sunday in the Tucson General Hospital, Tucson, Ariz.
Born in Schnecksville, he was a son of Claude Wolford of Neffs and the late Mary (Ayer) Wolford Kern.
The deceased was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving in addition to his father are a sister Carole, wife of Daniel J. Miller of Allentown; two brothers, Robert D.of Hinesville, Ga., and Larry J. of Jim Thorpe; and a half-brother, Kevin D. Wolford of Allentown.
The Thomas K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Mary B. Shore
Mrs. Mary B. Shore, 90, of Lancashire Hall, Neffsville, Lancaster County, formerly of Asbury Park, N.J., and Slatington, died Sunday in Lancashire Hall. She was the widow of Harry Shore.
She was a secretary in Monmouth, N.J., before retiring, and previously was a waitress at Brady's Restaurant, Asbury Park, and a teacher in the Slatington area for several years.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Ignatz and Helen (Kovach) Blefko.
She was a graduate of Shippensburg University.
Surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Vavra of Binghamton, N.Y.
Mrs. Esther A. Koenig
Mrs. Esther A. Koenig, 88, formerly of New Tripoli R.1 and R.3, died Sunday in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of Victor C. Koenig.
Born in Albany Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Amanda (Frey) Hamm.
She was a member of Jacob's United Church of Christ, New Tripoli; the Lynnport Volunteer Fire Company; and the Kempton Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathryn E., wife of Ernest D. Snyder, with whom she resided, and Sharon A., wife of Ray C. Weiss of Germansville; a son, Terry C. of New Tripoli; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lew K. Heintzelman
Mrs. Elfriede C. (Post) Heintzelman, 67, of New Tripoli, died Monday in her home. She was the wife of Lew K. Heintzelman. They observed their 38th wedding anniversary last December.
She was born in Germany.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Angelina K., wife of William O. Shavis of Mechanicsville, Md., and Katherine A. of Mount Rainier, Md.; a brother, Herbert Schilling in Germany; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Willard C. Candisky
Mrs. Mildred Candisky, 76, of Albrightsville, formerly of Oak Ridge and Westwood, N.J., died Sunday in the Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Willard C. Candisky. They observed their 55th wedding anniversary last month.
She was a saleswoman for the former Two Guys department store, Dover, N.J., for 10 years before retiring in 1978.
Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she was a daughter of the late James and Ida (Brower) McEwan.
She was a member of Blakeslee United Methodist Church, where she was treasurer of the women's group.
Mrs. Candisky was a also member of the Fair Weather Senior Citizens Group, Albrightsville.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Willard Jr. of Holland Township, N.J.; a brother Thomas of River Edge, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Richard L. Metzgar
Richard L. Metzgar, 47, of Stroudsburg, died Sunday in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
A self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker, he last worked for Fry's Plastics, Kresgeville.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Robert and Marie (Steskal) Metzgar of Stroudsburg.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sons, Matthew and Thad, and a daughter Jodi, all of Stroudsburg; two brothers, John of Virginia Beach, Va., and Gerald of Stroudsburg; two sisters, Mary Meyer of Bartonsville and Audrey Gulick of Eagle, Colo.; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Steskal of Chalfont, Bucks County; and nieces and nephews.
Rahn services
Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday in Leesport for Reid R. Rahn, 91, of the Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums, Luzerne County, a Weatherly resident for 68 years, who died on Sunday in the Hazleton General Hospital. He was the husband of Eva (Snyder) Rahn. They were married for 64 years.

Howton services
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weatherly, for William S. Howton, 41, of 42 Carbon St., Weatherly, who died on Saturday in the Hazleton General Hospital.

Mrs. Helen M. Petrusky
Mrs. Helen M. Petrusky, 84, of Quakake, Rush Township, died Monday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of William Petrusky.
She was a homemaker.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Jennie (Hill) Wagner.
Surviving are a daughter Valerie, wife of Thomas Frye of Quakake; and two grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Charlie and Elmer; and a sister, Mae.
The Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown, Tamaqua R.2, is in charge of the arrangements.
Cyril M. Jaso
Cyril M. Jaso, formerly of Lansford, died June 21 in his home in Levittown. He was the husband of the late Elsie Jaso.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jaso.
Surviving are a daughter Emilline, wife of Richard Detrich; a brother Frank of Lansford; a sister, Mrs. Mary Pappas of New York City, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Method J. and Joseph.
Funeral services were held in Morrisville.
Mrs. Robert A. Walck
Mrs. Eunice J. Walck, 64, of 409 White St., Weissport, died Monday in the Gnaden Huetten Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of Robert A. Walck. They observed their 44th wedding anniversary last Aug. 9.
At one time, she was employed as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company at its Lehighton Exchange.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Loren and Mollie (Kleintop) Davenport.
She was a graduate of 1950 Lehighton High School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Robert A. Jr., address unknown; a daughter, Susan J., wife of Danny Christman of Tamaqua; a brother Edward of Allentown; a sister, Mrs. Mollie C. Ockenhouse of Lehighton; and a grandson.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald.
