Mrs. Pearl P. Tuckett
Mrs. Pearl P. Tuckett, 73, formerly of 223 Penn St., Tamaqua, died
Wednesday morning in the Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,
Hometown, where she had resided since July. She was the widow of
William J. Tuckett Sr., who died in 1988. She worked as a nurses' aide for
the former Allentown Hospital in the 1940s.
Michael R. Pribish
Michael R. Pribish, 43, of 192 Dartmouth St., Highland Park, N.J., died
Tuesday in his home. He was a self-employed landscaper.
Mrs. Anna V. Chuckran
Mrs. Anna V. Chuckran, 94, of 439 W. Patterson St., Lansford, died
Wednesday in her home. She was the widow of John C. Chuckran.
Angela Ondrus
Mrs. Angela Ondrus, 94, died Wednesday at the home of her son and
daughter-in-law, Joseph J. and Marie Ondrus at 36 Coal St., Lansford. She
was the widow of Gabriel J. Ondrus, who died in 1983.
Kathleen Waynock
Mrs. Kathleen Waynock, 72, of 264 E. High St., Coaldale, died
Wednesday at her home. She was the widow of William Waynock, who died
in 1987, and the late Mr. Kastrava. She was employed as a sewing machine
operator at the former W&L Manufacturing in Coaldale, until it closed.

Joseph L. Dunn Jr.
Joseph L. Dunn Jr., 58, of 102 E. Patterson St., Lansford, died
Thursday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was the husband of
Janet E. (Brode) Dunn. He was striken Tuesday evening while addressing
members of Lansford Borough Council as a member of the community's
board of health. He was rushed to Miners Memorial Medical Center,
Coaldale, and later transferred to Geisinger. He was self-employed and
retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 1978.
Philip C. Scheirer
Philip C. "Phil" Scheirer, 51, of 6212 Glen Court, Germansville, died
Wednesday in the home of his brother, Ralph T. Jr. of Allentown. The
deceased was the husband of Jay A. (Benjamin) Scheirer. They observed
their fourth wedding anniversary in July. He was a cutter operator at Day
Timers, East Texas, for eight years, and previously was a machinist for
Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, and Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He was an
Air Force veteran of the Vietnam war.
William C. Anilosky
William C. Anilosky, 68, of Charcoal Ridge Road, South, Danbury,
Conn., died Thursday in Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy C.
(Heller) Anilosky. He was director of human resources for American Can
Co., Greenwich, Conn., for 20 years before retiring.
John H. Reese
John H. Reese, 91, formerly of 337 W. Abbott St., Lansford, died
Thursday in Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Stacia S.
Reese, who died in 1990. Prior to retiring he had been employed by
PennDOT as a surveyor.
Joseph J. Hanzl Jr.
Joseph J. Hanzl Jr., 68, of Allentown, died Wednesday in Lehigh
Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Rose M. (Bendekovits)
Hanzl. They observed their 45th wedding anniversary in January. He was a
technical investigator for A.T. and T., Allentown, for 38 years before
retiring in 1986. Hanzl was a Navy veteran.
Peter Torak
Peter Torak, 71, of Grier City, Barnesville R.2, died Thursday in
Hazleton General Hospital.
Mrs. Helen M. Uhnakk
Mrs. Helen M. Uhnak, 92, formerly of 225 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, died
Wednesday in Mahoning Valley Nursing and Convalescent Center, Mahoning
Township. She was the widow of Ludevit Uhnak.
Mrs. Ellen E. Millward Reitz
Mrs. Ellen E. Millward Reitz, 95, formerly of 425 Kuntz Ave.,
Slatington, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She
was the widow of Frank R. Reitz and Harry Millward. She was a silk
weaver for Stanwood Mills, Slatington, for 25 years before retiring in
1954.
Mrs. Minnie A. Deens
Mrs. Minnie A. Deens, 95, of Ambler died Wednesday in the home of
her son, Henry C. Sr., of Horsham Township. She was the widow of Henry C.
Deens. She was a nurse for the former Allentown Hospital after graduating
from its school of nursing in 1922. After that, she assisted her husband in
the operation of the former Deen's Hardware and Electrical Contractors,
Ambler.
Paige Amber Horwith
Paige Amber Horwith, 10-days-old, died Sunday in Lehigh Valley
Hospital, Allentown. She was the daughter of Heather Horwith, 1230
Wintergreen Road, Palmerton.
