Mrs. Hannah Chadwick
Mrs. Hannah Chadwick, 90, of Nazareth, formerly of Walnutport, died Sunday in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the widow of Joseph S. Chadwick.
She was a blocker for the Allegheny Ribbon Mill, Quakertown, until retiring.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Susanna L. (Kline) Reese.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmerton.
Surviving are a sister, Sara Ford of Kissimmee, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

Jerome R. Reese
Jerome R. Reese, 48, of Walnutport, died Sunday in his home. He was the husband of Sharon K. (Basso) Reese.
He was a commodities broker for JML Sales, Whitehall Township, for two years, and previously was a finance manager of automobile sales in the Lehigh Valley for 16 years.
Born in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of the late Richard M. and Leona A. (Praglowski) Reese.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a Purple Heart and Air Medal recipient. He belonged to the American Legion Post 750, Roseto, and the Bangor Elks Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Denise L., wife of Gregory D. Wilk of Coplay; a son, Mark R. Kroll, with the Navy in Pensacola, Fla.; five brothers, Gordon L. of Allentown, Lawrence W. of Whitehall, Wayne E. and Bruce D., both of Allentown, and Kenneth A. of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Anita L., wife of Brad Hockman of East Stroudsburg, and Donna M. of Allentown; and three grandchildren.

Harry B. Cheesbrough Jr.
Harry B. Cheesbrough Jr. of North Catasauqua died Monday in his home. He was the husband of Josephine (Majancsik) Cheesbrough. They observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in July.
He owned and operated a poultry business and an ornamental evergreen nursery in Moore Township from 1949 until retiring in 1975.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harry B. and Kathleen (Heilman) Cheesbrough.
He was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Harry B. II of Danielsville; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

John J. Carrigan
John Joseph Carrigan, 62, of Concord, N.H., formerly of Lowell, Mass., died Saturday in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boston, Mass. He was the husband of Eleanor L. (Cathcart) Carrigan. They observed their 34th wedding anniversary in August.
A graduate of the former University of Lowell with a bachelor of science degree in engineering, he was a quality assurance manager for the Raytheon Corporation, Lowell, before retiring in 1991 after 32 years of service.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Thomas and Marie (Sheehan) Carrigan.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lowell.
Carrigan was a sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, having served with the 305th A & E Maintenance Squadron.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Colleen C., wife of Stephen Vultaggio of Dunstable, Mass.; a brother Thomas and two sisters, Dolores Gillespie and Patricia McFadden, all of Jim Thorpe; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilmer W. Rush
Mrs. Sallie C. Rush, 70, of Bedminster Township, died Monday in her home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Wilmer W. Rush. They were married for 51 years.
Born in Franconia Township, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Lizzie (Clemens) Ruth.
She was a member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East, Bedminster Township, where she provided baked goods and assisted in the nursery department.
Mrs. Rush was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Doylestown, for several years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Linda R. of Portland, Ore., and Barbara E., wife of Randall Schieck of Tamaqua; four sons, Linwood R. of Portland, Lawrence R. of Line Lexington, Bucks County, and Donald R. and J. Mark, both of Perkasie; a sister, Pearl Nyce of Norwood, Montgomery County; and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary C. Matthews
Mrs. Mary C. Matthews, 69, of Kresgeville, died Monday in the Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. She was the widow of Eugene Matthews.
She was a realtor for Barbara Samet Realty, East Stroudsburg, for five years before retiring, and previously was a supervisor of sales representative for cosmetic companies for many years.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Bertha (Kelz) Theurer.
She was a volunteer for RSVP in Monroe County.
Mrs. Matthews was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving is a sister, Eleanor Hacker of Hemet, Calif.
The Kresge Funeral Home, Brodheadsville, is in charge of the arrangements.

Frank Daderko
Frank Daderko, 72, of 306 Spruce St., Tamaqua, died suddenly on Monday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of Helen (Revak) Daderko. They were married for 49 years.
Prior to retiring 10 years ago, he was a shovel operator for the former Bethlehem Mines Corporation.
Born in Summit Hill, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Powanda) Daderko.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Lansford, and the South Ward Fire Company, Tamaqua.
Daderko was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Dean of Tamaqua; three daughters, Lynn, wife of Jay Llewellyn of Jim Thorpe, Nancy, wife of Dr. Peter Rodson of Bethlehem, and Karen, wife of James Zurn of Lehighton; three brothers, John of Coaldale, Steve of Tamaqua and Peter of Summit Hill; seven sisters, Nancy, Ann, wife of John Weaver, and Irene, wife of Benjamin Davis, all of Summit Hill, Mary Bolick of Buffalo, N.Y., Katherine, wife of Theodore Puschak of Coaldale, Betty of Dallas, Pa., and Helen of Philadelphia; and nine grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Frank M.; and a brother Michael.
The John Puschak Funeral Home, Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements, with services to be held from the Roche Funeral Home, 237 E. Broad St., Tamaqua.

John Blaschak
John Blaschak, 76, of Race St., Ringtown R.2, a co-owner of the Blaschak Coal Company, died Sunday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville. He was the husband of Ruth (Gerber) Blaschak, a Tamaqua native.
Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Alexander and Anna (Dubiansky) Blaschak.
He was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shenandoah, the Holy Name Society of the church, the Union Township Fire Company, Pottsville Club and the Travelers Protection Association.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, John of Mountoursville and Stephen of Williamsport; two daughters, Carol, wife of Sal Kahane of Pittston, and Anita of Commer, Ga.; a brother Anthony and a sister, Mary Ambrose, both of Ringtown; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Walter, who died in 1988.

Charles Mundy
Charles Mundy, 68, of Warren, Ohio, died Monday morning in the Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, Ohio. He was the husband of Charlotte Mundy.
He was retired from the Van Huffel Tube Co., Warren.
Born in Mauch Chunk, he was a son of the late Charles and Barbara (Miller) Mundy.
He was an Army veteran.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Charles of Kinsman, Ohio, and Thomas of Warren; a daughter Sheila of Warren; a brother Frank of Hatfield; a sister, Ceil Sebelin of Jim Thorpe; and two half-sisters, Judy Wood of Milwaukee, Wis., and Cathy Folmar of Chambersburg, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday in Ohio.

Alice Mary Miller
Alice Mary Miller, 63, of 30 W. Philip St., Coaldale, died Monday at Miners Memorial Medical Center where she was a patient two days.
She was employed at local garment factories and also worked for Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Dougherty.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Breslin) Miller.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Coaldale, and a graduate of the former St. Mary High School.
Surviving is a brother, Charles F., with whom she resided, a sister, Anna Marie, wife of Henry 'Gene' Collier of Coaldale, and three nephews.
The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of arrangements.
