Paula S. Brunell
Paula S. Brunell, 41, of 600 Valley St., Easton, died Wednesday in his home.
She worked at Lincoln Avante, Easton.
Born in Wilson, she was a daughter of Carol Hampshire Ahner and a stepdaughter of Robert L. Ahner of Lehighton.
The deceased was a member of the Franklin Hose Company No. 2, Easton.
Surviving in addition to her mother and stepfather are two sons, Thomas of Lebanon, N.J., and Scott of Phillipsburg, N.J.; her fiance, Peter S. Hardin, with whom she resided; two brothers, Lamont King Cope of Wyalusing, Bradford County, and John M. Cope of Lehighton; two sisters, Roxanne Barnes of Laurys Station and Ruth E. Cope of Easton; and a grandson.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Brunell.

Paula S. Brunell, 41, of 600 Valley St., Easton, who died Wednesday in her home, is a stepdaughter of Robert D. Ahner of Lehighton. Mr. Ahner was incorrectly listed as Robert L. Ahner in Friday's TIMES NEWS.
William H. Hauser
William H. 'Mosey' Hauser, 69, of 66 Hidden Spur Road, Lehighton, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Emma F. (Williams) Hauser and the late Isabella (Neff) Hauser, who died in 1982. He and his second wife observed their 12th wedding anniversary in June.
He was an oxygen burner in the BethForge Division of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 38 years before retiring in 1989.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of Mrs. Violet (Serfass) Hauser of Mahoning Valley and the late William H. Hauser Sr.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mother are three sons, David D., Joseph W. and Daniel J., all of Lehighton; two stepsons, Robert W. Schoenberger of Lehighton and Russell B. Schoenberger of Weissport; two stepdaughters, Beverly, wife of Richard Serfass of Union Hill, Lehighton, and Jean E. Schoenberger of Weissport; four brothers, Charles of Weissport, Merle of Mahoning Township, James of Lehighton and LaMar of Parryville; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Robert.
The Richard M. Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview St., Union Hill, is in charge of the arrangements.
Anna Velazquez
Anna Velazquez, 46, of 516 Broadway, Bethlehem, died Wednesday in a fire in her home.
She was a packer for R & B, Inc., Colmar, Montgomery County, for two years.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Maria (Ortiz) Velazquez.
She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are a son Robert of Bethlehem; a daughter, Annette Rodriguez of Allentown; three brothers, Edward in Puerto Rico, Joseph of Lake Harmony and Robert of Bethlehem; six sisters, Rosita of Allentown, Carmen of New York City, N.Y., Emerita of the Bronx, N.Y., and Juana, Luz and Damacia, all in Puerto Rico; and a grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Rodriguez.
Joseph J. Frendak
Joseph J. Frendak, 75, of 244 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, died Thursday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Sheigel) Frendak.
A career military man, he served in the Army for 23 years before retiring as a first sergeant in 1966.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in France and Germany. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal and the Bronze Star of Valor with Oak Leaf Clusters.
He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Between wars, he was an electronic instructor overseas and in Tobyhanna. He also worked for the former Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company, Lansford, and for Blue Ridge Cable Company from 1968-87.
Born in Lansford, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Pavlovcak) Frendak.
He graduated from St. Michael Parochial School, Lansford, the former Lansford High School and the Technical Electronics School of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and AMVETS Post 83, both of Lansford.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph J. Jr. of Monterey, Calif., and John of Middlesex, England; a daughter Joan, at home; and a sister, Mary Kruzik of Lansford.
He was also preceded in death by a brother John and a sister, Helen Gerber.

Joseph A. Mazziotta
Joseph A. 'Pippy' Mazziotta, 85, of Allentown, died Thursday in the ManorCare Health Services II, Bethlehem.
He was a laborer for UGI for over 30 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Castranovo, Italy, he was a son of the late Giustino and Polisina (LoNigro) Mazziotta.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Allentown.
Mazziotta was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the St. Nicholas G.C.R.A. Society and the Sokols, both of Allentown.
Surviving are three brothers, Pat, with whom she resided, Arthur of New Tripoli and Justin of Neffs; and a sister Angie, wife of Gabriel Horvath of Coplay.
James R. McGorry
James R. McGorry, 54, of Allentown, died Wednesday in the LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. He was the husband of Louise A. (Haggerty) McGorry. They observed their 33rd wedding anniversary in August.
A 1967 graduate of the University of Maryland, he was an independent life insurance agent in Allentown for many years before retiring in 1986.
Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Teddy and Jeanne (Mundy) McGorry.
He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allenmton.
McGorry was an Army veteran.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Jeanne M. of Queens, N.Y.; a son, James P., at home; two brothers, Eugene of Nesquehoning and Paul of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and a sister Nancy, wife of Mark Sniscak of Nesquehoning.
Mrs. Martha J. Reichelderfer
Mrs. Martha J. 'Mickey' Reichelderfer, 81, of 438 Pine St., Tamaqua, died Thursday in her home. She was the widow of Arthur Reichelderfer, who died in 1966.
Prior to retiring in 1977, she had been employed as lead lady in the Pack House at the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds.
Born in Brandonville, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sadie (Augustine) Schaeffer.
She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamauqa, and the Atlas 25-Year Club.
Surviving are two sisters, a twin, Mrs. Elizabeth Bankes, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Josephine Hackett of Hometown, Tamaqua R.2; three nieces, a nephew, several great-nieces and great-nephews and a great-great-niece.

Among the survivors of Mrs. Martha J. "Mickey" Reichelderfer, 81, of 438 Pine St., Tamaqua, who died Thursday in her home, was a sister, Mrs. Ida Krell of Tamaqua.
Wash Rusinko
Wash Rusinkoa, of 6013 37th Ave., Hyattsville, Md., and formerly of Coaldale, died Wednesday in Shady Grove Nursing Home, Md. He was the husband of the late Anastasia (Gournsky) Rusinko.
He worked as a miner at the former Coaldale Mining Company until it ceased operation and later worked as a postal clerk in Washington, D.C.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Wasil and Julia (Lehotsky) Rusinko.
He was a member of St. Gregory Byzantine Catholic Church in Hyattsville.
Surviving is a daughter, Elaine Rothenberg of Potomac, Md.; one son, William T. Rusinko of Columbia, Md.; two sisters, Mary Gildea of Coaldale; Helen Frailer of DeLand, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas and John.
