Rev. Francis J. Luszczak
The Rev. Francis J. Luszczak, 85, of 735 N. Kearney St., Allentown, pastor emeritus of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Allentown, died Sunday in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.
He was pastor of the church from 1966-81.
He graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Philadelphi8a, in 1939, and was ordained by Dennis Cardinal Dougherty on June 3, 1939, in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. He celebrated his first Mass in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Philadelphia.
Rev. Luszczak served at churches in the Manyunk section of Philadelphia, Bridgeport and Conshohocken in Montgomery County, and Barnesville and Shenandoah in Schuylkill County.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Maszalec) Luszczak.
Surviving is a sister Mary of Germantown, Philadelphia.
David J. Seebald
David J. Seebald, 69, of Allentown, died Sunday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Nancy K. (Krause) Seebald. They observed their 46th wedding anniversary in May.
He was a mail handler for the Lehigh Valley Postal Service for 31 years before retiring in 1988.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harry C. and Edith (Williams) Seebald.
A graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy, Morrisville, Bucks County, he was a past president of the Lehigh Valley Postal Employee Federal Credit Union and a founding member of the Keystone Region M.G. Car Club.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four daughters, Nancy Ann, wife of Robert Zerfuss of South Tamaqua, Jane, wife of Raymond Sheerer of Egypt, Susan, wife of Rick Hoffman of Zionsville, and Kathy of Allentown; two sons, Michael, at home, and Thomas of Allentown; a sister, Harriet MacDonald of Allentown; three brothers, Henry of Wyomissing, Berks County, Warren of Rocky River, Ohio, and John of York; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Florence A. Dimmig
Mrs. Florence A. Dimmig, 84, formerly of 225 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, died Sunday in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the widow of Charles R. Dimmig.
Born in Lower Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late Richard A. and Ida (Weiss) Sames.
She was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are three sons, Charles N. of Freemansburg, Robert J. of Bethlehem and Larry L. of Slatington; three daughters, Dorothy B., wife of Grant J. Hawk of Hellertown, and Marie D., wife of William Carter, and Florence H. Brown, both of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by three sons, William Victor, Nelson George and David Paul; and a daughter Elizabeth.
Thomas G. Haines
Thomas G. Haines, 29, of Seemsville Road, Allen Township, diedf Saturday in a fire in his home. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek attributed death to a combination of burns and heat.
The deceased was the husband of Antoinette J. (Balliet) Haines of Walnutport.
He was a machinist for Choice Precision Machine, Inc., Allentown, and formerly for Lehigh Valley Plastics, Inc., Allentown.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Gerald J. and Joyce C. (Miller) Haines of Northampton.
Surviving in addition to his widow and parents are a son, Brandon M., and a brother, Edward M., both of Walnutport; and a sister, Terri Ann, wife of Brian Behler of Danielsville.
Mrs. Earl P. Scheanou Jr.
Mrs. Betty G. Scheanou, 52, of Allentown, died Saturday in the Allentown State Hospital. She was the wife of Earl P. Scheanou Jr.of Easton.
She was a machine operator for the former Fredwell Company, Easton.
Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Isiac and Frances I. (Phiffer) More.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Earl P. III, and a daughter, Paula Vazquez, both of Easton; three sisters, Doris Grube and Dorothy Christman, both of Easton, and Catherine Fretz of Allentown; four brothers, Fred E. Fretz Sr. of Forks Township, Martin H. Fretz of Brodheadsville and Donald and Floyd Fretz, both of Vineland, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Anthony Antinozzi
Funeral services for Anthony Antinozzi, 59, of 203 S. Cedar St., Hazleton, who died Sunday in the Hazleton General Hospital after being stricken at his home, will be held Wednesday.
Antinozzi, a teacher and head basketball coach at Weatherly Area High School, was the husband of Alice (Brogan) Antinozzi.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of Mary (Fornataro) Antinozzi of Hazleton, and the late James Antinozzi.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
For over 20 years, he was the recreation director for the City of Hazleton and a basketball coach for the Police Athletic League. He served two years as head basketball coach at Panther Valley High School.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mother are two daughters, Cindy, wife of James Somers of Hazleton, and Lori, wife of John Kringer of Pardeesville, Luzerne County; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Lucille) Klocek of Hazleton; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Margaret E. Roth
Mrs. Margaret E. Roth, 84, formerly of Allentown, died Monday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the widow of William H. Roth.
He was a licensed practical nurse at the former Parkway Rest Home, Cetronia, for 40 years before retiring in 1962.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Edward R. and Hester M (Weise) Edwards.
She was a member of the Cedar Crest Allentown congregation of Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
There are no immediate survivors.
Ms. Jean A. Wallis Wilde
Mrs. Jean A. Wilde, 54, of ManorCare Heath Systems, Salisbury Township, formerly of Germansville, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Robert C. Wilde, who died in 1983, and the late John Wallis.
Born in new Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Florence (Sittler) Peifer.
She was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.
Surviving are a sister, Margaret, wife of Vernon C. Horn of Slatington; and nephews.
Mrs. Garry J. Broadfield
Mrs. Mary A. Broadfield, 70, of Albrightsville, formerly of West Paterson, N.J., died Tuesday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. She was the wife of Garry J. Broadfield Sr.
Born in Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Seibert) Etzel.
She was a Catholic.
Surviving with her husband are four sons, Steven Obremski of Pocono Lake, William Broadfield of West Paterson, Jerry Broadfield of Clinton, N.J., and Garry J. Broadfield Jr. of Albrightsville; a daughter, Christina Horsham of Albrightsville; a brother Frank of Toms River, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
Charles Blackwell
Charles 'Checki' Blackwell, 87, formerly of 327 Entwistle St., Weatherly, died Tuesday at the Hazleton Nursing and Geriatric Center. He was the husband of Mary (Maleski) Blackwell.
He was employed as a machinist by Star Parts, Hazleton.
Born in Weatherly, he was the son of the late Henry B. and Sadie H. (Kemmery) Blackwell.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Weatherly, and the Flying Aces Motorcycle Club of Rockport.
Surviving with his widow are three daughters, Lucy, wife of William Busher of Sinking Spring, Yvone, wife of Jimmie Fertic of Yeehaw Junction, Fla., and Rita Blackwell of Reading; a son, John of Ranger, Ga.; a sister, Elva Edwards of Lima; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Nahas.
Mrs. Ruth Malinchoc
Mrs. Ruth Malinchoc, 92, of 378 Syosset and Woodbury aves., Long Island, N.Y., died Tuesday evening at the United Presbyterian Residence in Woodbury. She was the widow of Michael Malinchoc, who died in 1981.
She was chief telephone operator for the Colony Club in New York City before retiring in 1975.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Julia (Dean) Eberson.
Surviving are a son, Michael of Rochester, Minn.; a daughter, Nancy, wife of Richard Schmidt of Port Washington, N.Y., six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
