Ella B. Johnson
Ella B. Johnson, 85, formerly of 318 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, died Wednesday in Weatherwood, Weatherly.
She worked for the Liquor Control Board in Harrisburg for many years before retiring.
Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maryann (Higgins) Johnson.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill.
Surviving are a sister Lucy, wife of John McNelis of Wilmington, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Saddie Miller and Elizabeth Johnson; and five brothers, Thomas, Frank, Joseph, Paul and Harry Johnson.
The Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, is in charge of the arrangements.
Peter Myster
Peter Myster, 71, of 3823 Sycamore Drive, Northampton, died Tuesday in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of June R. (Meckes) Myster. They observed their 45th wedding anniversary in March.
He owned and operated P. Myster & Son, Northampton, for the past 35 years, and also worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 30 years before retiring.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Frank and Fannie Myster.
He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath.
Myster was a B25 gunner in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Glenn A. and Brian P., both of Northampton; a daughter, Bonnie L., wife of Daniel Mertes of Port Angeles, Wash.; two brothers, Harry of Slatington and Metro of Northampton; two sisters, Olga Marosits of Clifton, N.J., and Mary, wife of Michael Maitski of Whitehall; and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Dean A.
Harry B. Johnson
Harry B. Johnson, 76, of Kunkletown R.1, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Marion (Wigandt) Johnson. They were married for 45 years.
He was an engineer at the GAF Corporation, Wayne, N.J., for many years before retiring in 1981.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Oscar B. and Hilda (Larson) Johnson.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater of Operations with the 342nd Fighter Squadron. He was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient.
Johnson was a member of V.F.W. Memorial Post 5588, Kunkletown, the Sun Valley Volunteer Fire Company and the Kilwinning-Sunset Masonic Lodge No. 926, Brooklyn.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter Nancy, wife of George Marturano of Ringoes, N.J.; a son, Wayne S. of Clifton, N.J.; a brother, Walter E., and a sister, Doris DePersia, both of Ocala, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Charles Frederickson
Mrs. Jennie E. Frederickson, 83, of Hometown, died Wednesday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the wife of Charles Frederickson. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary last Sept. 11.
Prior to retiring in 1974, she worked for the former J.J. Newberry Store, and previously had worked for the former Hirsch's Beauty Shop.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Clara K. (Leiby) Kistler.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, William of Hometown and Robert of Mountain Home, Idaho; and six grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, William and George; and three sisters, Wilda, Annabelle and Mary.
The Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown, is in charge of the arrangements.
Koenig services
Memorial services for Mrs. Margaret E. Koenig, 71, of 1245 Pine Run Road, Lehighton, who died Nov. 30 in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, Bethlehem, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lehighton.

Mrs. Irene E. Grover
Mrs. Irene E. Grover, 71, of 310 W. Front St., Lansford, died Tuesday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Kenneth A. Grover, who died May 22, 1995.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Taschner) Harell.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are a son Craig of Allentown; two daughters, Connie McGuire, with whom she resided, and Colleen of Allentown; three sisters, Eleanor Sweeney and Ethel Morrisey, both of Allentown, and Viola Sibley in California; and two grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Caroline.

Donald C. Schlecht
Donald C. Schlecht, 68, of 1 Broadway (Navigation Building), Jim Thorpe, and formerly of 913 Center St., Jim Thorpe, was dead on arrival Wednesday evening at the Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Carl and Dorothea (Millhouse) Schlecht.
He worked as a weaver for the former Zale's Silk Mill in Jim Thorpe, and later worked for the P.B. & N.E. Railroad in Bethlehem.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jim Thorpe.
He also belonged to the Fairview Fire Co., Jim Thorpe and the Dolan-jones-Martino American Legion Post, Jim Thorpe.
Surviving are two sisters, Phyllis, wife of Robert Brosious, and Joan, wife of Ethan Rice, both of Whitehall; one brother, Paul A. of Lehighton, and nieces and nephews.

Charles E. Ruch
Charles E. Ruch, 65, of 344 North First St., Lehighton, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born in West Bowmans, he was a son of the late William and Maria (Bowman) Ruch.
He was a truck driver for Makousky Brothers in Northampton, and later worked for International Dress Co., Lehighton.
He was of the Lutheran faith, and was a life member of the Teamsters Union. He also belonged to Lehigh Fire Co. No. 1, Lehighton.
Surviving are four sons, Dennis and Thomas, both of Mahoning Township, and Dana and Charles Jr., both of Lehighton; a brother, Raymond of Mahoning Township; a sister, Delores, wife of Norwood Ohl of Tamaqua; and three grandchildren.
