Lester G. Storm
Lester G. Storm, 56, of 462 Main Road, Franklin Township, Lehighton, died Thursday evening in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He was the husband of Mary (Summers) Storm. They observed their 33rd wedding anniversary last March 3.
He was self-employed, owning and operating the Lester Storm Logging and Clearing Business in Franklin Township.
Born in Franklin Township, he was a son of the late John P. and Ellen (Eberts) Storm.
He was a member of Salem Bible Fellowship Church, Lehighton, where he was chairman of the Borad of Deacons and the Benevolence Committee.
Storm was active in the Franklin Township Little League Baseball program, and sponsored the Mets team in the league since 1990.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, MaryAnn, wife of Jonathan T. Dait of Palmerton, and Barbara, wide of Michael A. Kindt of Lehighton; a son, Jeffrey L. of Palmerton; a brother, Glenn A. of Lehighton; a sister Joycelle, wife of Wayne Koch of Seven Valleys, York County; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport, is in charge of the arrangements.
Elizabeth A. Bohl
Elizabeth Ann 'Betty' Bohl, 58, of 1105 Russell Ave., Fountain Hill, died Thursday in her home.
She was a medical technician at the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, Bethlehem, the Palmerton Hospital and the Grandview Hospital, West Rockhill Township.
Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of Rosemary E. (Curry) Burkit, with whom she resided, and the late Cornelius Burkit.
The deceased was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Shawn of Hunlock Creek, Luzerne County, and R. Michael of Nazareth; and three grandchildren.
Daniel J. Miller
Daniel J. Miller, 42, of 2522 Martha Lane, Land O'Lakes, Fla., died Monday in the University Community Hospital, Tampa, Fla. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Sieber) Miller. They observed their 16th wedding anniversary last May.
He was a maintenance worker at the St. Joseph Hospital, John Know Village, Tampa.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Theresa (Dale) Miller Hahn of Whitehall Township and the late Victor Miller.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mothers are a son, Aaron M., at home; two brothers, Gary of New Tripoli and Michael of Whitehall; two sisters, Anita, wife of Steven Tantaros of Schnecksville, and Janet of Steel City; and his stepfather, Ernest J. Hahn Jr. of Whitehall.
Paul Henry
Paul Henry, 84, formerly of 439 S. Second St., Bangor, died Wednesday in the Slate Belt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bangor R.1. He was the husband of the late Mona (Evans) Henry.
He was a research assistant and chemical technician for the former New Jersey Zinc Company, Palmerton, until retiring in 1974.
Born in Danielsville, he was a son of the late William O. and Diana Henry.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Church, Bangor.
Henry was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two sisters, Helen McCray and Grace, both of Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Richard S.H. Arner
Mrs. Olga D. Arner, 81, of 326 N. Ninth St., Lehighton, died Thursday in ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Richard S.H. Arner. They observed their 62nd wedding anniversary in June.
She was a teacher's aide at the Shull-David Elementary School of the Lehighton Area School District before retiring.
Born in Packerton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Sabluk) Hubitsky.
She was a member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Lehighton.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Robert K. of Perkasie; a daughter, Gail Ann, wife of Metro Yurchak of Quakertown; two brothers, Joseph of Pottsville and Paul of Lehighton; three sisters, Margaret and Rita, wife of Joseph Mucha, both of Bethlehem, and Pauline, wife of George Thear of Nesquehoning; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard G., who died in 1980.

Morris A. Brunner Jr.
Morris A. Brunner Jr., 71, of 6163 Sullivan Trail, Nazareth, died Thursday in the Easton Hospital. He was the companion of Mary E. Rader, with whom he resided.
He was a car operator in the blast furnaces of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 1983.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Morris A. Sr. and Mary E. (Danks) Brunner.
He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem.
Brunner was an Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart medal recipient.
Surviving in addition to his companion are a daughter, Linda L., wife of Don Frederick of Whitehall Township; three sons, Wayne M. of Lehighton, Jeffrey O. of Allentown and Barry L. of Bethlehem; a sister, Margaret Gerhard of Bethlehem; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Henrietta M. Kauffman
Mrs. Henrietta M. Kauffman, 87, of 339 Liberty St., Bethlehem, died Wednesday in the Muhlenberg Hospital Center, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Louis K. Kauffman.
Born in Mauch Chunk, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lottie (Mummey) Milford.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are a son, Louis R., with whom she resided; and two grandchildren.
Russell J. Simons
Russell J. Simons, 72, of Bushkill Center Road, Nazareth, died Thursday in the Muhlenberg Hospital Center, Bethlehem.
He was a self-employed electrician and plumber in the Moore, Bushkill and Lehigh townships areas for most of his life.
Born in Danielsville, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Stella S. (Best) Simons.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Moore Township.
Surviving are a sister, Helen M., wife of Paul E. Schlamb of Moore Township; a brother, Homer C. of Lady lake, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dorothy Loisch
Mrs. Dorothy Loisch, 74, a resident of the Edgemont Personal Care Lodge, Lansford, died Thursday in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was the widow of William Loisch.
Prior to retiring, she had been employed by the Crown Cork and Seal Company.
Born in South Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude (Breiner) Knepper.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansford.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy DiSanto of Burlington, N.J.; a brother William of Tamaqua; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. George Durilla
Mrs. Mary E. Durilla, 79, of 501 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, died Thursday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the wife of George Durilla.
Prior to her marriage, she had been employed as a telephone operator in Tamaqua.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Curtis C. and Mary (Beyrent) Keefer.
She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
A 1935 graduate of Tamaqua High School, she was a Tamaqua Meals On Wheels volunteer for the past 18 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Thomas M. of Center Valley; a daughter, Mary K., wife of Ross Davis, and a sister, Mrs. Theodore (Kathryn) Baddick, both of Tamaqua; a brother, Robert E. Keefer of New Ringgold R.1; and seven grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, George O., who died in August; and three brothers, Leo, Curtis and Richard.

Mrs. Anna Kott
Mrs. Anna Kott, 100, formerly of McAdoo, died Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, Eleanore, wife of Robert Feathers, in Tamaqua. She was the widow of Stephen Kott, who died in 1945.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Morba and celebrated her 100th birthday in July.
She was a member of St. Kunegunda Catholic Church, McAdoo, and Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua. She was a member of the altar and rosary societies of both churches.
Surviving, with her daughter are four sons, Joseph and Leonard, both of McAdoo, Daniel of Hazleton and John of West Hazleton; a daughter, Dolores, wife of Joseph Kapes of Levittown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen; and five brothers, Albert, Thomas, John, Frank and Paul; and two sisters, Mary Kostick and Katherine Jadosh.
