Frances Ollin
Frances Ollin, 88, of 422 West Pine St., Mahanoy City, died Friday at Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Frank Ollin who died in 1979.
Born in Trenton, Delano Township, she was a daughter of Frank and Mary (Slavinskas) Brazdius.
She lived in Mahanoy City most of her life, and attended Delano schools.
She worked several years at Eagle Brothers Shirt Faction, formerly of Mahanoy City.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mahanoy City.
She also belonged to the Catholic Daughters, the former Magdalene Society of St. Joseph Church.
Surviving is a son, Frank Ollin of Allentown; two daughters, Lorraine Maff of Tamaqua and Mary Lou Ollin of Jenkintown; one brother, John Burgess of Mahanoy City. Also, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Louis Truskowsky Funeral Home, Inc., 300 W. Center St., Mahanoy City, is in charge of arrangements.
Alberta D. Walsh
Alberta D. 'Bertie' Walsh, 88, died early Friday morning in Gwynedd Square Center, Upper Gwynedd Township, Lansdale, where she had lived since August. She was the widow of William M. Walsh, who died in 1961.
She lived in Lansdale more than 50 years.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Conrad and Elizabeth (Behr) Clausius.
She worked at the former Ralph's Market in Lansdale 19 years, until retiring. Before that, she had been employed at the former Franklin Tile and the former RCA plant on Church Road, both in Lansdale.
She had been a member of the North Penn Hospital Auxiliary more than 45 years and volunteered at the reception desk for almost 5,000 hours. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels; was active in the North Penn Senior Center, Lansdale, and the Golden Agers of Lansdale and Souderton.
Other memberships included the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post 32, Lansdale and their Cootiette Club 289 and the Auxiliary of the Hatfield Legion Post 933 and their 8/40 Club.
She served as chaplain for both the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. and the Hatfield Legion. She was also a long-time active member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lansdale.
Surviving is a son, Robert C. Trevorah, of Lansdale; a sister, Ruth Collins, Hometown; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Clausius.

George W. Kline
George William Kline, 68, of Newark, Del, died Thursday in his home. He was the husband of Evalyn (Gregg) Kline, and the late Betty (Fritz) Kline. He and his second wife were married seven years.
He was a Tamaqua native.
He worked as a regional sales manager, eastern area, for I.M.C., Explosives Division for 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He also worked at Atlas Powder in Florida, and moved to Delaware upon his retirement. He worked for MBNA America in Newark, De.
He was a member of Explosives Engineers of America, the Holy Family Catholic Church, Newark.
Surviving are four sons, George A. Kline, Dayton, Oh.; David Kline, Chapel Hill, N.C.; Robert Kline, Fairfax, Va., and Mark Kline, Austin, Tex.; a daughter, Joanne Miller of DeKalb, Ill.; three step-sons, Robert Gregg Jr. of Newark, De.; Mark Gregg, Bear, De.; Richard Gregg, Newark, De.; and a step-daughter, Kathy Calloway of Lincoln University, Pa. Also four grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter; one sister, Katharine Riedel of New Ringgold and a brother, Harry Kline, of Wilmington, De.
The Spicer-Mullikin and Warwick Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, De., is in charge of arrangements.
Marie V. Bunting
Marie V. Bunting, 76, a resident of Pleasant Valley Manor, and formerly of Stroudsburg, died Thursday in Pleasant Valley Manor.
She was the widow of Claude C. Bunting Sr.
Born in McMichaels, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Sarah (Hoffner) Weiss.
She had been a seamstress at the former Nova Sportswear in Brodheadsville 34 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a 1937 graduate of Chestnuthill High School.
She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Church in Bartonsville, and had been a trustee at the church for many years.
She was a member of the Mineola Grange in Brodheadsville.
Surviving is a son, Claude C. Bunting Jr. of Stroudsburg; two daughters, Claire Smith of Blairstown, N.J., and Barbara Kresge of Stroudsburg; a brother, Clair Weiss of McMichaels; a sister, Irene Colvin of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Leonard R. Oncheck
Leonard R. Oncheck, 61, of 4272 Timberline Road, Walnutport, died Thursday in Palmerton. He was the husband of the late Betty L. (Young) Oncheck.
Born in Berlinsville, he was a son of Herminia (Schaffer) Oncheck of Walnutport, and the late Alex F. Oncheck.
He was an Army veteran, and was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Walnutport.
He worked for Bethlehem steel for 31 years, retiring as an office clerk in 1984.
He belonged to the Holy Name Society of St. Nicholas Church, and was past president of the Blessed Virgin and St. Nicholas Credit Union.
Surviving with his mother are two sons, Leonard R. Oncheck Jr. of Allentown and Thomas M. Oncheck of Walnutport; a daughter, Lisa A. Oncheck of Danielsville; two brothers, Alex J. Oncheck and James J. Oncheck, both of Walnutport; three sisters, Margaret F., wife of Robert Morgan, Walnutport, Elizabeth, wife of Larry Sparrow of Freeport, Ohio, and Patricia A. Jacoby of Walnutport; three grandchildren.
