Lawrence W. Heintzelman Sr.
Lawrence W. Heintzelman Sr., 67, of 7188 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was a foundry worker for O.Z. Gedney Co., Inc., Shoemakersville, for 15 years before retiring in 1985 due to illness.
Born in Lynn Township, he was a son of the late Charles and Mallie (Bennighoff) Heintzelman.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli, and the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon L., wife of Anthony Miller of Santa Clara, Calif.; three sons, Carl W., Lawrence W. Jr. and Douglas S., all of New Tripoli; a sister, Mrs. Naomi Arndt of Allentown; two brothers, Norman of Kempton and Earl of New Tripoli; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Mary A. Fling
Mrs. Mary A. Fling, 88, of 308 North St., Jim Thorpe, died Tuesday in her home. She was the widow of Jesse Fling.
A registered nurse, she worked most of her life in the Washington, D.C., area.
Born in Freeland, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Winifred (Dean) McFadden.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe, the Women's Club of the church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Ryan No. 911, Jim Thorpe.
Mrs. Fling received her nursing degree from the former St. Agnes School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Helferty; and two brothers, Bernard and William.

Ray F. Weaver
Ray F. Weaver, 61, of 125 Village Lane, Levittown, Bucks County, died Tuesday in the St. Mary Hospital, Langhorne. He was the husband of LaRue E. (Eckhart) Weaver. They observed their 38th wedding anniversary last September.
He was an electrician for the Educational Testing Service of Ewing Township before retiring in 1994 after 20 years of service.
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late John W. and Eva M. (Borger) Weaver.
A 1959 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with an associate degree in electrical engineering, he was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, Penny Walker of Fairless Hills and Patti, wife of Aurele Rivera of Levittown; two sons, Perry of Fairless Hills and Chase, at home; two brothers, Nevin and Curtis, both of Lehighton; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Ruth M. Godshall
Mrs. Ruth M. (Stewart) Godshall, 77, of Barnesville, died Tuesday evening in the Hazleton General Hospital. She was the widow of Benjamin Godshall.

Donald Galbraith Sr.
Donald "Scotty" Galbraith Sr., 75, of 835 Center St., Bethlehem, died Monday in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Mabel S. (LaBare) Galbraith. They observed their 55th wedding anniversary last May.
A member of Teamsters Local 773, he was a truck driver for the former Tose/Fowler Trucking Co., Allentown, for 30 years before retiring in 1981.
He received an associate's degree in traffic and transportation in Allentown.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Lenora (Kannaple) Galbraith.
He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Galbraith was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served from 1944-46.
He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps before joining the Marines and was a volunteer for the St. Luke Hospital Zipper Club.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Thomas of Jim Thorpe and Robert of Birdsboro, Berks County; a sister Janet, wife of Martin Hoeffler of Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Jr., who died in 1992.

Mrs. Grace P. Doernbach
Mrs. Grace P. Doernbach, 69, of Allentown, died Saturday in the Baptist Hospital, Miami, Fla. She was the widow of S. Birch Doernbach.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Reinhard) Person.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Doernbach, wife of Stephen Frink of Key Largo, Fla.; three brothers, Harry and Donald, both of Allentown, and Gale of New Tripoli; three sisters, Jean, wife of James Brown, and Erma, wife of Robert Claus, both of Allentown, and Betty, wife of Robert Krause of Schnecksville; and a granddaughter.

Memorial services for Edgar W. Fogel, 88, of 1716 W. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, who died Tuesday in the Sanctuary Personal Care Facility, Jim Thorpe, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, Ashfield.

Maurice J. Segaria
Maurice J. Segaria, of 10 Tamaqua St., Beaver Meadows, died Sunday in his home.
He was employed by the Intrepid Detective Agency, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Anthony and Frances (Fay) Segaria.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Hazleton.
Surviving are a son, Joseph in New Jersey; two sisters, Bella of Hazleton and Ann Boyle of Westville, N.J.; and and two brothers, Anthony of Heightsville, Md., and Neil of Summit Hill.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and John; and two sisters, Mary Segaria and Florence Taddei.
Hazel Blew Thomas
Hazel (Cooper) Blew Thomas, 90, of Locust Valley, died Wednesday morning in the Hometown Nursing and Convalescent Center, Tamaqua R.2.

Vito P. Sampogne
Vito P. Sampogne, 89, of the Hometown Nursing Center, Tamaqua R.2, and formerly of Tamaqua, died this morning in the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Balzano) Sampogne.
Born in New York City, N.Y., he was a son of the late Rocco and Caroline (Romano) Sampogne.
He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert.
