Melba H. Nissley
Melba H. Nissley, of Camp Hill, died Monday, April 3, 2000 at Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.
She was a Contract Officer at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown and retired as a Contract Specialist from the Department of Education, Washington, DC. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She was the widow of John R. Nissley. Surviving is her son, Robert E. Nissley of Camp Hill.
Services will be held at 10am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Alfred A. Obenhardt
Alfred A. Oberhardt, 76, of Camp Hill, PA, died Sunday, March 05, 2000 at his residence.
He was a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter Marilyn R. Oberhardt Barker, Arlington, MA; a son Matthew C. Oberhardt, San Francisco, CA; a grand daughter Katherine E. Barker; a son-in-law Frederick G. Barker, Arlington, MA.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
The Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland is handling arrangements.
John R. Phillips
John R. Phillips, 80, of West Manchester Twp. and formerly of Camp Hill died Monday 7/17/2000 in York Hospital.
He was a retired Regional Vice President and General Manager for Maryland Casualty Insurance Company, Camp Hill and was currently employed by Best & Company, NJ. He was a WWII Army veteran who earned the European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars and served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and the Central European Theaters.
He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill and attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Manchester. He was a member of Lowther Manor Lodge #781, F&AM, Camp Hill and the Hawks Gunning Club, York. He was born 3/27/20 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Reese and Emma Jane (Hill) Phillips.
He is survived by his wife Jean E. (Gentzler) Chronister Phillips; a daughter Donna Jane Goodwin of Beaver Springs, PA; a step son Todd R. Chronister of York; a step daughter Sandra J. Ellis of Mont Pelier, VA; a sister Emma Jane Pazula of Morris Plains, NJ; 5 grandchildren.
Services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.

Edward A. Rabena
Edward A. Rabena, 80, of Dillsburg, PA, died Sunday, July 9, 2000 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired supervisor of regional laundry for the former New Cumberland Army Depot; an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII; a member of 455th Bomb Group (H) Association, Inc. 15th Air force WWII; Past President and Area Governor of Toastmasters, International, West Shore Chapter; He was a Meritorious Service Award Recipient; a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg; attended Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters; West Shore Lodge # 681, F. & A.M., Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; past member of consistory choir and chanters; Zembo Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., Harrisburg and its Greeters Unit; V.F.W. Post 7415 and American Legion Post 143, both of New Cumberland; N.A.R.F.E.; AARP.
He was born March 24, 1920 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Epifano and Benedetta (Valenza) Rabena.
He is survived by his wife Betty R. (Moody) Rabena; a son Brian E. Rabena, Etters; a daughter Karen B. Miller, Lewisberry; three brothers, Julius Rabena, New Cumberland, Albert Rabena, New Cumberland, Theodore Rabena, New Cumberland; four grand children; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 2pm Friday at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters. Burial will be 12:30 pm Friday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Visitation will follow the service in the church.

George E. Reimer
George E. Reimer, 91, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, died Monday at the Village.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster and his Masters from Columbia University, New York City. He was a retired Executive Director of the former Pennsylvania Society of Crippled Children and Adults which developed into what is now Easter Seals. He was the Past President of National Easter Seal Society Executives Association; Past President and Secretary of Rotary Club of Harrisburg since 1947; Past District Governor of Rotary International District 739; Past President of Executive Club of Central Pennsylvania; and Past President of Bethany Village Resident's Council.
He was born June 18, 1908 in Flicksville, PA to the late Eli and Carrie (Farrow) Reimer. His son, Bruce G. Reimer, also predeceases him.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Davies Reimer; a daughter, Sandra Reimer Ulrich of Gales Ferry, CT; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11am Thursday at Bethany Village Community Room. Interment will be in United Church of Christ Cemetery, Flicksville, PA.
Visitation will be from 10:30am until time of service Thursday at the Village.

Rocco J. Restagno
Rocco J. Restagno, 71, of Camp Hill died Thursday September 14, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired bar tender for the former Castiglia's Restaurant, Harrisburg, a WWII Army veteran and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill.
He was born 11/17/28 in Steelton, PA to Philomena (Crescenzi) Restagno and the late John Restagno.
He is survived by his wife Louise J. Restagno; a daughter Mary Jane Lutz of New Cumberland; his mother Philomena (Crescenzi) Restagno of Camp Hill; 2 sisters, Mary Cray and Natalie Sasa, both of Harrisburg; 2 brothers, Raymond of Lewisberry and Victor of Harrisburg; and 2 grandsons, Robert E. and Nick R. Lutz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30pm Monday 9/18/2000 in his church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 6-8pm Sunday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland with the recitation of the Rosary at 7pm.
