Anna Mary Smith
Anna Mary Smith, 91, of Lewisberry, PA, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, May 03, 2000 at home.
She was a retired housekeeper in the Alexandria, PA area; she attended Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, New Cumberland; she loved ice cream, tending her flower garden, and baking.
She was born March 5, 1909 in Maddensville, PA to the late James Porter Wible, Jr. and Mary E. Madden Wible.
She is survived by three grand children; 10 great grand children; 19 great great grand children; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Monday at Houstontown Church of God, Houstontown, with the Rev. John L. Warner officiating. Burial will be in Clear Ridge Cemetery, Dublin Twp., PA, following services.
Viewing will be 6-8pm Sunday at the Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

John A. Souders
John A. Souders, 76, formerly of Saw Mill Road, Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, September 14, 2000 at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg.
He was a retired cartographer for the Commonwealth of PA; a Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII; he attended Messiah Village Church; was a member of West Shore Lodge # 681, Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine.
He was the widow of Eva Fisher Souders and was born September 29, 1923 in York, PA, to the late John A. and Ruth M. (Senft) Souders.
He is survived by a son John A. Souders, IV, Mechanicsburg; a daughter Joanne C. Souders, Lemoyne; two grand children, Jaime L. Souders and John A. Souders, V.
Memorial services will be held 7pm Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. C. Ronald Burgard, senior pastor at Messiah Village Church, officiating. Private burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Township.
Visitation will be 6-7pm Monday at the funeral home.

M. Robert Sterner
M. Robert Sterner, 81, of Mont Alto, died Friday, June 23, 2000 at Manor Care, Chambersburg.
A WWII Army Veteran, he was a retired Assistant Business Manager for the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Harrisburg. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Mont Alto, Lowther Manor Lodge, No. 781, F & AM, Camp Hill, Harrisburg Consistory, B.P.O.E., Waynesboro Lodge, No. 731, American Legion, Morr's Frock Post No. 42, Hagerstown.
He was born June 28, 1918 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Myron B. and Elizabeth P. (Leach) Sterner.
His wife, Dorothy G. Sterner; a daughter, Debra S. Herrold of South Mountain; a brother, Donald R. of Miami, FL; a sister, Phyllis S. Meacham of Pennbrook; and two grandchildren survive him.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be from 1-1:45pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Effie B. Stoner
Effie B. Eichelberger Stoner, 102, formerly of Camp Hill died Wednesday 8/9/2000 in Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was a member of First Church of God, New Cumberland. She was born 8/8/1898 in Fairview Twp., York Co., PA to the late Charles & Susan (Hiler) Eichelberger.
She was the widow of Paul G. Stoner and is survived by a daughter Martha E. Sides of Ephrata; 2 sons, Ralph E. of Mechanicsburg and Charles C. of Wedowee, AL; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation services, New Cumberland with the Rev's. Dennis E. Hamsher and Curtis D. Heisler co-officiating.Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday in the funeral home.

Anna May Stutzman
Anna May (Bressler) Stutzman, 87, of Lower Allen Twp. and formerly of Tower City died Friday 2/25/2000 in Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp. She was a graduate of West Chester University (formerly West Chester Normal School) and a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Allendale, Camp Hill. She enjoyed music and playing bridge.
She was born 8/18/12 in Donaldson, Schuylkill Co., PA to the late Brooke J. & Sallie E. (Ney) Bressler. She was the widow of Howard G. Stutzman and is survived by a daughter Barbara S. Hawley of Camp Hill; a son William H. Stutzman of Audubon, PA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 12 noon in her church with the Rev. Tim F. Roach, her pastor officiating. Burial will be 10 am Tuesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.
Visitation will immediately follow memorial services in the church.

Alice M. Taylor
Alice M. Taylor, 75, of New Cumberland, died Thursday, July 13, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was the retired owner/operator of the former Alice Taylor's Beauty Shop, New Cumberland. She was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, Capital City Polka Dancers, and Fairview Twp. Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting.
She was born September 3, 1924 in Reedsville, PA to the late Freeman and Annie B. (Tressler) King.
The widow of Orion Sidwell Taylor, she is survived by a son, John O. Taylor of Wormleysburg; a daughter, Linda L. Bistline of New Cumberland; two step-daughters, Sally Auxer of New Cumberland and Jackie Snow of Camp Hill; a brother, Maxwell King of Mount Joy; two sisters, Letha Hershey of New Providence and Bunny Secrest of Manheim; two grandchildren, Richard Bistline of Reston, VA and Molly Taylor of Seattle, WA.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Monday at her church.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service at the church.
