Born March 30, 1912 in York Springs, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Wilt Spangler. She was the widow of Dale S. Keefer.
A 1934 graduate of Shippensburg State College, Mrs. Keefer was a retired Huntington Township school teacher.
She was a former president of Penn Lakes Girl Scout Council, Edinboro; former director of Pennwoods Girl Scout Camp; and a member of the League of Women Voters.
Surviving is her daughter, Betsy Keefer of Hartsdale, N.Y.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in Sunny Side Cemetery, York Springs, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at the Woods at Cedar Run, 824 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, with the Rev. John DeNicola officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Mass of Christian burial for Patrice Edith Weber, 43, of 28 Old Stonehouse Road, Silver Spring Township, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 400 E. Simpson Ferry Road, Mechanicsburg.
She died Thursday, June 5, 1997 in Cumberland County Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 10, 1953 in Ohio, she was a daughter of Charles W. Weber of Carlisle and the late Juanita Thompson Weber.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg.
In addition to her father, surviving are her stepmother, Georgia Spangler Weber; two brothers, Lawrence and Timothy, both of Carlisle; one sister, Denice of Arizona; and two stepbrothers, Ralph E. Spangler of Dillsburg and Keith A. Spangler of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Jr.; a sister, Marie Weber Russell; and a niece, Laura Russell.
The Rev. Chester P. Snyder will officiate at Tuesday's service.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.

Services for Sylvia M. Bock, 85, a resident of Menno Haven Penn Hall, Chambersburg, and formerly of 15096 Paxton Run Road, Shippensburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
She died Saturday, June 7, 1997 in the home.
Born May 16, 1912 in Mowersville, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Emma Jane Hoover Mower and the widow of Chester N. Bock, who died Sept. 22, 1996.
Mrs. Bock was a former employee of the dress and pants factories in Shippensburg. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Newburg.
Surviving are a sister, Blanche M. Mower, of Shippensburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
The Rev. Earl F. Barrick will officiate at Tuesday's services. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Lurgan Township.

William K. Diehl, 73, of 7 E. 2nd St., Newburg, died Sunday, June 8, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 29, 1924 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Clyde S. and Claire E. Beltz Diehl.
Mr. Deihl was retired from SKF Industries, Shippensburg. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Newburg and was a Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Fredith L. Davidson Diehl; three sons, Dana L. of Carlisle, Paul E. and Larry W., both of Shippensburg; two daughters, Dorothy L. Wegner of Newburg and Nancy J. Forrester of Greencastle; four brothers, Henry A. of Chambersburg, Clyde E. of Pleasant Hill, Wayne E. of Newburg and John E. of Orrstown; five sisters, Pearl I. George and Eleanor A. Seibert, both of Shippensburg, Mary V. Groce of Story Wyo., Lottie V. Stouffer and Jane A, Rine, both of Orrstown; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in his church, Newburg, with the Rev. J. Roy Bower officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Lurgan Township.

Born Aug. 4, 1903 in Franklin Township, York County, he was a son of the late Lewis and Anna Fanus Elicker and the widower of Lavere Flohr Elicker.
Mr. Elicker, a retired construction worker, attended South Mountain Union United Brethren in Christ Church, Dillsburg.
Surviving are his second wife, Dorothy E. Trostle Elicker; two sons, Leroy L. of Dillsburg and Richard L. of Willards, Md.; a stepson, William H. Bentz of New Castle, Del.; a stepdaughter, Donna B. Stoudnour of Dillsburg; a brother, Lester of Dillsburg; a sister, Ethel Reasey of Dillsburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Born Oct. 21, 1927 in Shamokin to Alfred M. and Marcella Burd Kerstetter, he was a retired correctional officer for the Pennsylvania Department of Justice and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Jane Schroyer Kerstetter; three sons, Lee of York Springs, Mark of Columbia and Ned of Carlisle; a daughter, Joy Steffen of Pittsburgh; a brother, Glenn of Lemoyne; a sister, JoAnne Wagner of Mechanicsburg; five granddaughters; and his stepmother, Helen Kerstetter of Shamokin.
Burial will be private.

Samuel M. Simmons IV, 18, of 72 S. Locust Point Road, Monroe Township, died Sunday, June 8, 1997 as the result of an auto accident.
A member of the 1997 graduating class of Cumberland Valley High School, he was to enter the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Penn State Williamsport Campus, in the fall.
He was employed on his father's farms and at Deitch's Farm, Mechanicsburg.
Surviving are his parents, Samuel M. III and Suzanne W. Keller Simmons; and his grandfather, Samuel M. Simmons Jr. of Mechanicsburg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. James R. Richwine officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
There will be no viewing; however, friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
