Services for Harry E. Hair, 78, of 245 Windy Hill Road, Shermans Dale, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, 935 Windy Hill Road, Shermans Dale.
He died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, the date of his 55th wedding anniversary, in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Dec. 1, 1918 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Harry II and Grace I. Shatto Hair.
Mr. Hair was a retired employee of M.L. Haldeman & Son, Hershey. He was a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church and Carpenters Local No. 287, Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Liddick Hair; seven sons, Ronald H. of Liverpool, Richard S., Barry L., Kenneth R. and Randy W., all of Shermans Dale, Dennis E. and Michael D., both of Carlisle; three daughters, R. Jane Zeigler of Shermans Dale, Patti L. Johnson of Boiling Springs and Wendy L. Meneses of Carlisle; two sisters, Evelyn Rheam of Shermans Dale and Betty Rumbaugh of Enola; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Peter Beddia and the Rev. Joseph Kugle will officiate at Saturday's service. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon.
Memorial contributions can be made to his church.

Services for Ruth G. Wharton, 98, of Chapel Point, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, will be held in Wilmington, Del. at the convenience of the family.
She died Wednesday, July 16, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born Feb. 7, 1899 in Wilmington, Del.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the local arrangements.

Pamela Jean Amsley, 39, of 107 Overhill Dive, Chambersburg, died Sat., July 26, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 27, 1958 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Nancy L. Stine Rhinehart Sr.
She was a partner in Amsley's Upholstery Shop in Chambersburg.
She was a 1976 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Surviving are her husband, Barry L. Amsley; a son, Jason M. Amsley of Chambersburg; a brother, William L. Rhinehart Jr., of Shippensburg; a sister, Kimberly A. (Mrs. Chester Jr.) Suders of Shippensburg; two nieces; and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
The Rev. David J. Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Franklin County Unit, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg 17201.

Services for Bruce E. Baitsell, Sr., 55, of 7 Poplar Drive, Mechanicsburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle.
He died Friday, July 25, 1997 in Claremont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 24, 1941 in Carlisle, he was the son of Violet Fuller Baitsell of Carlisle and the late Clarence Baitsell.
Mr. Baitsell was retired from the former Capitol Products, Mechanicsburg.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Carlisle.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Anna Fulton Baitsell; two sons, Bruce E., Jr. and Alan Fulton, both of Carlisle; two daughters, Wendy Leibfried of Carlisle and Tina Palakovic of Shermans Dale; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Bruce Woolever will officiate Thursday's service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Services for Beverly J. Lindquist, 64, of 800 Mandy Lane, Hampton Township, will be held at 8 p.m. Monday in her home.
She died Friday, July 25, 1997, in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.
Mrs. Lindquist was born Nov. 21, 1932 in Scranton, the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Hazel Lance Flynn.
She was a retired claims supervisor for General Accident Insurance Company, Harrisburg and a member of Art School and Galleries, Mechanicsburg; Rolls-Royce Owners Club; and Silver Ghost Association.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph G. Lindquist; three brothers, Thomas P. Flynn of McLean, Va., Robert Flynn of Dunmore and Lanny J. Flynn of Spokane, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Lois Flynn of Dunmore; a niece, Hazel Flynn Parkinson of Spokane, Wash.; and a nephew Lanny J. Flynn, Jr. of Seattle, Wash. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Flynn.
Michael R. Shuff of the New Life Baptist Church will officiate Monday's services.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at her home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cumberland Unit 205, 117 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, Pa. 17013.

Services for Samuel I. Replogle, 86, of 4600 Hampden Avenue, Camp Hill, will be held Tuesday in the Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren, 301 Gale St., Mechanicsburg.
He died at the Brethren Home in New Oxford, Pa.
Mr. Replogle was retired from Brown and Brown Painting Contractors.
He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren, where he was former choir director, Sunday School teacher and deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Foster Replogle; a son Phillip G.; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Salemville Cemetery, Bedford County. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 301 Gale St., Mechanicsburg, Pa. 17055.

Mary T. Brougher, 94, of 120 Filbert St., Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, July 27, 1997 in Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born Oct. 13, 1902 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Frances Coover Thomas. She was the widow of Lt. Col. George B. Brougher.
Mrs. Brougher was the first executive secretary of the Mechanicsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and one of the original founders of Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg.
A graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, she was a member of Molly Pitcher Button Club of Camp Hill.
Surviving is her nephew, John Brougher Jr. of McClan, Va.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Mechanicsburg Cemetery with the Rev. John B. Edson officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, is handling arrangements.

Services for Judy Lorraine Doyle, 46, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, Columbia, S.C.
She died Saturday, July 26, 1997.
Born in St. Louis, Mo., she was a daughter of Lorraine Clara Lyons Herd and the late Joseph J. Doyle.
She was a member of Earlewood Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her stepfather, Charles E. Herd of Pelion, S.C.; five brothers, James, John, Thomas and William Doyle, all of Carlisle, and Charles Herd of Pelion, S.C.; two sisters, Dianne Trojan of Lugoff and Lorraine Dana of Pelion; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Doyle.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Foundation.
