Susan E. Chorpenning
Susan E. Chorpenning, 43, of Camp Hill and formerly of Burlington, MA, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a member of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg where she served as Deacon. She enjoyed being a mom and volunteered for many of her son's activities including scouting, soccer and little league baseball programs.
She was born October 10, 1957 in Winchester MA. She was predeceased by a brother, Gerard Pattie.
She is survived by her husband, David S. Chorpenning; a son, Ian D. at home; her parents, Gerard J. and Dorothy (Burke) Pattie of Burlington, MA; two brothers, James A. Pattie of Burlington, MA and Jack J. Pattie of Newburyport, MA; three sisters, Karen Bobbish and Joan Falconer of Burlington and Debra Hosmer of Rye, NH; and her in-laws, Lloyd and Faye Chorpenning of Vineyard Haven, MA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday at her church and Friday at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Burlington MA. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington, MA.
Viewings will be from 1:30 to 2:15pm Tuesday at her church and Thursday at Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., Burlington, MA.

Lamar H. Craig
Lamar H. Craig, 73, of New Cumberland, and formerly of Reading, died Friday, June 15, 2001 at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Ironworker having worked in the Reading area. He was a graduate of Mt. Airy School for the Deaf, Philadelphia. He was a member of Reading Association of the Deaf, Pennsylvania Society for the Deaf, Keystone Central Deaf Senior Citizens, and York Association of the Deaf.
He was born February 14, 1928 in Coaldale to the late Harry and Dorothy (Stoffo) Craig.
His brother, Robert W. Craig of New Cumberland, a niece, Amy Martinar of Philadelphia; a nephew, David Craig of Haverton, and two grandnieces, Abby and Gracie Martinar of Philadelphia survive him.
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Twp.

Eva S. Crisp
Eva S. Crisp, 87, of Camp Hill & formerly of New Cumberland died Saturday June 2, 2001 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and was an avid Hershey Bears Hockey fan and loved all sports.
She was born October 5, 1913 in Shippensburg, PA to the late Clever & Hazel (Husler) Daihl.
She is survived by her husband Charles H. Crisp, Jr.; a son Charles H., III of Fayetteville, PA; 2 daughters, Judy C. Christie of New Cumberland and Orpha "Jean" Hare of Camp Hill; 3 sisters, Martha Woodring of McKeesport, PA, Nelle Nenninger of Shippensburg, PA and Orpha Benner of New Cumberland; 4 grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday June 6, 2001 in her church with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson, her pastor, and the Rev. James Nenninger, her nephew officiating.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church.

Chief Petty Officer John C. Dichard
Chief Petty Officer, John C. Dichard, US Navy, Retired, 74, of Lewisberry and formerly of Massachusetts, died Tuesday, February 27, 2000 at home.
He served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. In addition to his military service, he worked for AVCO in Massachusetts. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; Pennsylvania LSM-LSMR Association; and Fleet Reserve Association. He was an avid Red Sox fan
He was born November 5, 1926 in Massena, NY to the late Adelard and Daisy (Bush) Dichard.
He was the widower of Wanda M. Kearns Dichard, He is survived by two sons, Rowland Cutter of Oceanside, CA and Anthony E. Dichard of Lewisberry; three daughters, Annette M. Paddock of SanTee, CA, Miriam M. Petrillo of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and Michelle M. Schoppert of Lewisberry; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 6pm Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland with The Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will be at 10am Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery, VA
Viewing will be from 4:30 to 5:45pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Elizabeth A. Eater, 94, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at home.
She was a retired employee for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; a former Republican Committee Woman; Order of Eastern Star, Steadfast Chapter.
She was born October 14, 1906, in Wrightsville, York Co., PA to the late Calvin and Barbara Thompson Upp. She was the widow of C. Vance Eater.
She is survived by her daughter with whom she lived, Barbara A. Fetrow, Mechanicsburg; two grand children; 3 great grand children. Services will be private.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
There will be no viewing.

June Reed Esworthy, 61, of Camp Hill, PA, died Friday, May 11, 2001 at Manor Care West, Camp Hill.
She was a retired Child Care Aid with Best Friends Day Care, New Cumberland; and was a member of Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg.
She was born June 21, 1939 in Allentown, PA to the late Clarence and Grace (Kemmerer) Reed.
She is survived by a son, Paul Glenn, Lower Allen Twp.; a daughter, Patricia J. Reed, Lower Allen Twp.; a sister Clare R. Brick, Linwood, NJ; four grand children.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday in her church with the Rev. Kevin Hundley, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp.
Viewing will be 12 noon to 1pm in the church.
