She died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997 in the home.
Born March 21, 1912 in Herkimer, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Nell Henderson Carter and the widow of Howard Tyler.
Mrs. Tyler was a kindergarten teacher in New Fairfield, Conn., for many years. She was a graduate of St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and received her master's degree from Columbia University, New York City.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Carlisle. She also was a volunteer for the public library and adult care center in Mashpee, Mass., and was a volunteer for Bosler Library, Carlisle.
Surviving are a son, John D. of Carlisle; a daughter, Cornelia Nickerson of Newville; a brother, John H. Carter of New London, N.H., three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Canon Mark A. Scheneman will officiate at Monday's service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will follow Monday's memorial service at the church. Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling arrangements.

Services for Kenneth L. Weber, 82, of 924 S. York St., Mechanicsburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg.
He died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born April 20, 1915 in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Jacob and Mae Miller Weber.
Mr. Weber was a retired truck driver from Wilsbach Distributors, Harrisburg, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God, Dillsburg.
Surviving are his wife, Helen K. Knisley Weber; a son, Carl L. of Camp Hill; a daughter, Patricia W. Gill of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Ervin of Grantham; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Phillip H. Sturr Jr. will officiate at Saturday's service. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dillsburg.

Services for Mildred E. McCormick, 84, of Cornwall Manor, were held July 19 in Lovi Zerr Chapel of the manor.
She died Wednesday, July 16, 1997 in the manor.
Born Aug. 16, 1912, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Sadie Snavely Leahy and the widow of John P. McCormick, who died in 1992.
She and her husband, who was employed by Carlisle Barracks, lived in Carlisle in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Mrs. McCormick worked at Baughman's Male Shop in downtown Carlisle for nine years and was a member of Cornwall United Methodist Church. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lebanon for more than 50 years.
Surviving are a son, John P. Jr. of Succasunna, N.J.; two daughters, Jackie Michehl of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Joy Ellen Garman of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery. Christman Funeral Home, Lebanon, handled arrangements.

Beulah D. Dick, 82, of 825 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997 in her home at LeTort Manor.
Born Sept. 15, 1914 in Boiling Springs, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Mary E. Shellenberger Donnelly and the widow of Charles J. Dick, who died in 1974, and Leon Tanger, who died in 1943.
Mrs. Dick, a 1931 graduate of Boiling Springs High School, was a member of the Carlisle Golden Age Club.
Surviving are a son, Raymond L. Dick of Akron, Pa.; a grandson, Charles R. Dick of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Ronald R. Madeira officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, North Middleton Township.

Luther "Mitch" O. Fisher, 92, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997 in Carlisle.
Born June 11, 1905 in Penn Township, he was the son of the late George and Bertha Bell Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a retired carpet inspector for Masland Industries, Carlisle, and a member of Faith Chapel.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Shenk Fisher; a daughter, Virginia Dunkleberger of Newville; three sons, Victor Fisher, Lewis Fisher and Ray Snyder, all of Newville; a stepson, Larry Snyder of Shermans Dale; a half-sister, Della Golden of Lancaster; 22 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn and Paul; a daughter, Martha Thrush; a grandson; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 in Faith Chapel, 1453 Holly Pike, Carlisle with the Rev. Gerald Knoblet officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Eva Marie Stewart Long, 86, of Camp Hill Care Center and formerly of New Cumberland, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997 in the center.
Born March 17, 1911 in Union Furnace, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Jenny Ager Stewart and the widow of John S. Long.
Mrs. Long was a member of Faith Assembly of God, Fairview Township.
Surviving are a son, Lewis S. of Lewisberry; a daughter, Delores B. Bingaman of Bellefonte; a brother, Warren A. Stewart Jr. of Florida; four sisters, Nancy Estep, Edith Bush and Lillian Allenbaugh, all of Lewistown, and Dorothy Schlegel of Florida; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Randall Rhoads officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township.

Born in New York City, N.Y., she was a daughter of Emma Kiss Pankratz of Mechanicsburg and the late Leo Pankratz, and the widow of Edwin A. Schmidiger.
She was a former resident of Norristown from 1965-1992.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her brother, Richard Pankratz of Mechanicsburg, and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Schmidiger.

Nelson of Biglerville; two brothers, Sidney and Bruce Hughes, both of Lewisberry; five sisters, Gloria Miller of Carlisle, Margie Hughes of Lewisberry, Dorothy Gerber and Evelyn Wuechinski, both of Dillsburg and Janice Shank of Wellsville; and five grandchildren.
