Ethel F. Cornman, 82, of 803 Sandbank Road, Mt. Holly Springs, died Friday, Aug. 29, 1997 at home.
Born Jan. 13, 1915 in Dickinson Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Grace Dunlap Frehn.
Mrs. Cornman was a member of Mt. Holly Springs Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Leroy H. Cornman; one daughter, Darlene J. Ramond of Carlisle; one sister, Edith Shetron of Newville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in her church with the Rev. Michael L. Lozano officiating.
Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, Mt. Holly Springs, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Holly Springs Evangelical Lutheran Church, 602 McLand Dr., Mt. Holly Springs, Pa. 17065.

Services for Jessie B. Campbell, 71, of 209 Wolf Bridge Road, Carlisle, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs.
She died Thursday, Aug. 28, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born March 10, 1926 in Hagerstown, Md., she was a daughter of the late James and Minnie Campbell Green. She was the widow of Arthur W. Campbell, who died in 1980.
She was a member of Minnequa Club of Hagerstown, Order of Owls of Greencastle, AMVETS of Carlisle and the ladies' auxiliaries of Moose Lodge 235, Eagles 1299 and American Legion Post 674.
Surviving are her daughter, Teresa A. Searfoss of Carlisle; two sons, Larry J. and James E. Barnhart, both of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Services for Irene M. Figard, 86, of 149 Cedar St., Carlisle, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
She died Friday, Aug. 29, 1997 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born Feb. 12, 1911 in Holidaysburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Verna G. Stevens Pernell.
Ms. Figard was formerly employed at the former Wilson's Drug Store in Carlisle and more recently at the Belevedere Medical Center Pharmacy, Carlisle.
She attended the former Bellwood-Antis Twp. High School in Bellwood and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle; the Newville Historical Society, and the AARP.
Surviving are a son, Charles R. Figard of Hamburg, Pa.; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
The Rev. Richard A. Ruff will officiate Tuesday's service. Burial will be in Upper Frankford Brick Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday in the funeral home.

Lawrence A. Ferree, 81, of 602 Woodland Avenue, Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997 at Carlisle Hospital.
He was retired from the former Kimberly-Clark Corp., Mt. Holly Springs.
He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church.
He was an Army World War II veteran.
He was a member of VFW #7343, American Legion #674, both of Mt. Holly Springs, Eagles #1299, White Circle Club, both of Carlisle, and the Mt. Holly Fish and Game Club.
He is survived by a his wife, Winifred Kutz Ferree; one brother, Robert P. Ferree of Carlisle; and one sister, Sara H. Grove of Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wonda J. Ferree.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Avenue, Mount Holly Springs, with the Rev. Bradley Knepp officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
Viewing will be Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to his church at 202 W. Butler, St., Mt. Holly Springs, 17065.

Ralph J. Group, 84, of 660 Torway Road, Gardners, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997, at home.
He was born April 11, 1913 in Adams County to the late Howard and Daisy Fahnestock Group.
Mr. Group was retired from the former Eaton-Dikeman Paper Co in Mt. Holly Springs with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Uriah United Methodist Church, Gardners, and the Gettysburg Region Antique Automobile Club of America.
He was the widower of Mariam Irene Group and Herta L. Group.
He is survived by a son, Donald A. Group of Mt. Holly Springs; a sister, Esther Baker of Biglerville; a step-daughter, Lisa Martin of Carlisle; eight grandchildren, one step grandson, seven great grand children, four step great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Louise Howery and two sons, Carl Lee and Robert.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Avenue, Mt. Holly Springs, with the Rev. Richard M. Barner officiating.
Burial will be in the Uriah Church Cemetery, South Middleton Township. Viewing will be Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dogwood Hospice of Carlisle, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, 17013 or to his church at 925 Goodyear Road, Gardners, 17324.

Richard L. Group, 86, of 107 Butler St., Mt. Holly Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997 at Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Jan. 30, 1917 in Mt. Holly Springs to the late Howard and Daisy Fahnestock Group.
Mr. Group was retired from the former Eaton-Dikeman Paper Co. with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, South Middleton Township.
He is survived by his wife, Helen V. Bockey Group; a sister, Esther Baker of Biglerville; three daughters, Joyce F. Lebo, Beverly Jane Keller and Dolly I. Group, all of Carlisle; six grandchildren, one step great grandson and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son, Conrad R. Group.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Avenue, Mt. Holly Springs, with the Rev. John H. Kratz and the Rev. J. Kenneth Barner officiating.
Interment will be in the Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his church at 420 Park Drive, Carlisle, 17013.

Floella Pearl Russell, 79, of Newville, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997 at Carlisle Hospital.
She was born June 19, 1918 in Shippensburg to Amos and Mande Strager Ingram. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Russell.
She was employed as a waitress at Green Ridge Village, Newville.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Newville.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosalie F. Lehman of Newville; and three grandchildren, Natalie Hutchinson Darren Shaffer and Andrea M. Lehman of Newville and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. in the First United Presbyterian Church of Newville, with the Rev. Robert L. Rhoades officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First United Presbyterian Church of Newville, 111 Big Spring Avenue, Newville, 17241.
Services are being handled by the Egger Funeral Home of Newville.

Services for Anna L. Shaffer, 99, formerly of Camp Hill, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg.
She died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997, in Michael Manor Nursing Home, Gettysburg.
Born June 22, 1898 in Aurora, W.Va., she was the widow of the late M.T. Shaffer.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Shaffer was a retired housekeeper/companion.
Surviving are two sons, Warren of Florida and Harold of Biglerville; two daughters, Wanda George of Newport and Delores Poist of New Oxford; one sister, Nona Wotring of Tennessee; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
