Born Feb. 17, 1915 in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late George P. and Janet S. McNeil Anderson and the widow of William Reeves.
She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Church, High Point, N.C. There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Chapel Pointe, Carlisle, 770 S. Hanover St., with the Rev. Sidney O. Harris officiating. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery, Middlesex Township.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
John J. Updegrove, 73, of Leigh Acres, Fla., died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997.
He was retired from Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and Derbyshire Machine and Tool Co., Philadelphia.
He was a life member of the VFW, a member of the Elks, and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Updegrove; three sons, John of Key West, Fla., Michael of Rhome, Texas, and Patrick of Hamilton Square, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Pamela Laudermilch of Enola and Beverly Cordier of Boiling Springs; a stepson, James Foote of Tom Ball, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Harry DeFrank of Camp Hill; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services were held at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leigh Acres, Fla.
Memorial services for Nona C. Westerhoff, 85, of 42 Strawberry St., Carlisle, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle.
She died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Dec. 4, 1911 in Patterson, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Bitterlin Walsh and the widow of John H. Westerhoff Jr.
She was a graduate of Barnert's Nursing School, Patterson, N.J. and was employed as a registered nurse with Carlisle Hospital and Dickinson College Health Center.
She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, Barnert Nurses Alumni, Carlisle Nurses Club, AARP of Carlisle, Dickinson College Retirees Club, Mary Dickinson Club and Carlisle Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Dr. John H. III of Atlanta, Ga. and Jeffrey B. of Woodbridge, Va.; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Barton Leach and John L. Larson will officiate at Thursday's services. Private burial will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Funeral services for Donald Bernard Wilson, 72, of Blain RR 1, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Three Springs Church of the Brethren, Blain.
He died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997 at home.
Born May 31, 1925 in Blain to the late J. Milton and Grace E. Welcomer Wilson, he was a retired rural mail carrier for the Blain Post Office. He was formerly employed by Blain Forestry, Blain Planing Mill and Masland Industries, Carlisle, and also was a former forest fire warden.
A former Toboyne Township supervisor, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a member of Three Springs Church of the Brethren, Blain; VFW Post 7463, New Bloomfield; American Legion Post 177, Newport; National Rural Carriers Association; Blain Lions Club; Blain Fire Company; Blain Ambulance Club; and National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife Fairy F. Flickinger Wilson; a son, Dennis L. Wilson of Blain; three daughters, Vicki W. Gainer and Georgianne M. Bell of Blain and E. Bernice McMillen of Loysville; a sister, Ruth N. Hostetter of Blain; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathryn A. Wilson and Jean E. Wilson.
The Rev. John S. Kipp will officiate at Thursday's services. Burial will be in Blain Cemetery with military honors by the New Bloomfield VFW.

Mrs. Byers was a retired cook for the American Legion.

Services for Mildred F. Dunkle, 85, of Penn Hall Nursing Center, Chambersburg, formerly of Chambersburg, were held Sept. 19 in Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
She died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1912 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Amos S. and Edith M. Flora Myers and the widow of Elmo A. Dunkle, who died in 1990.
She was a 1930 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a 1943 graduate of Harrisburg School of Cosmetology.
Mrs. Dunkle was the owner and operator of the former Mid's Beauty Salon in Chambersburg, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Chambersburg and its Semper Fidelas Sunday School class. She also was a member of AARP, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and Pinellas Park Art Society of Pinellas Park, Fla. She volunteered at Shook Home in Chambersburg and for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are four daughters, Rita M. Baughman and Edith E. Leedy, both of Chambersburg, Cynthia A. Carpenter of Tecumseh, Mich., and Bonnie E. Tecco of Wildwood Crest, N.J.; a son, Jacob U. Whorley of Shippensburg; two brothers, Henry M. Myers of Carlisle and Wayne S. Myers of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Linda J. Jaymes and the Rev. Stephen M. Tecco officiated at the service. Burial was in Upper Strasburg Methodist Cemetery, Upper Strasburg.

Born Dec. 2, 1902 in Andersontown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Cora Fetrow Gallagher and the widow of the late Russell G. Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Bowmansdale Church of God and its Senior Life of the Church group.
Surviving are her son, Martin E. of Bowmansdale; two daughters, Verna J. Karns of Newville and Cora M. Metzger of York Springs; a sister, Margaret Sparks of Mt. Alto; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn R. McGaughey.
The Rev. R. Bruce Henneman will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Grantham Memorial Park.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1997 in Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, Gettysburg.
Born Jan. 12, 1908 in Aspers, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie Fohl Prosser.
A member of Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church of Gardners and its Ladies Aid Society, Miss Prosser also served as church organist for a number of years.
Surviving are her sister, Mae A. Amsbaugh of Camp Hill; two brothers, Carl E. of Gettysburg and Claude A. of Birmingham, Ala.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Ernest P. Leer will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Upper Bermudian Church Cemetery, Gardners.
