Harold C. "Sam" Hoover
Harold C. "Sam" Hoover, Sr., 75, or Camp Hill, and formerly of Butler, died Saturday at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
A WWII Army Veteran of the 79th Infantry he was a retired accountant with the Department of General Services fro the state of Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Peter's (Hoffman's) United Church of Christ, Lykens, Riverview Golf Club, New Cumberland, and American Legion Post 143 also of New Cumberland. He was an avid golfer.
He was born January 3, 1926 in Loyalton to the late Charles Elwood and Myrl (Grubb) Hoover.
He is survived by his wife, Anne B. Schell Hoover; two sons, Harold C. "Butch", Jr and Todd E. both of New Cumberland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland has charge of arrangements.

Clarence "Pap" House
Clarence "Pap" House, 81, of Lewisberry, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at his home.
A WWII Army Veteran, he was a retired electrician from Bethlehem Steel. He was a Lifetime member of River Rescue of Harrisburg, New Cumberland VFW Post No. 7415, New Cumberland American Legion Post No. 143, Steelton Moose Lodge No. 382, Steelton Fire Department, and Dauphin County Fire Chiefs and Fire Police Association. He was a blood donor having donated 23 ½ gallons and an avid stamp collector.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah J. Mentzer House; two daughters, Patricia A. Lepley and Dorothy J. Flickinger both of New Cumberland: seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30am Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be from 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home.

Betty V. Hunsinger
Betty V. (Leljedal) Hunsinger, 78, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and formerly of Silver Spring Twp., died Thursday, June 28, 2001 at Manor Care, Carlisle.
She was born April 14, 1923 in Towanda, PA, to the late Leonard and Flossie P. Leljedal
She was a 1941 graduate of Towanda Area High School, Towanda; and she loved her grand children very much and was very involved in their lives.
She was the widow of Major Paul W. Hunsinger., U.S. Airforce, ret. She is survived by two sons, Ronald J., New Cumberand, and Chris A., Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Pamela L. Bretz, Shermansdale, and Linda K. Makar, Dillsburg; Jack Leljedal, Towanda, two sisters, Ella Ferguson and Hazel Rehfeldt, both of Towanda; a sister in law, Audrey Sheppard, Annandale, VA; 6 grand children; 6 great grand children; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 am Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Pastor Eugene Hockenberry officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, South Hanover Twp.
Viewing will be 6-8pm Monday in the funeral home.

Helen W. Jones
Helen W. Jones, 93, of Brethren Home, New Oxford and formerly of Lemoyne died Saturday April 21, 2001 in Hanover Hospital.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Harrisburg Academy, East Pennsboro Twp. and a former employee of the former Myers Oldsmobile, Lemoyne. She was a former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lemoyne.
She was born September 13, 1907 in Harrisburg, PA to the late George & Catherine (Snyder) Witmer.
She is survived by a daughter Janet J. Stoner of Lewisberry; 2 sons, Samuel L. Jones, MD of New Cumberland and Robert L. Jones of York Haven; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday April 24, 2001 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery, Swatara Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday in the funeral home.

David D. Kelley
David D. Kelley, 53, of Camp Hill, died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at his residence.
He was an Electrical Estimator and Planner for Navy Depot, Mechanicsburg; a Navy Veteran; formerly active in Boy Scouts of America; and he enjoyed golf and gardening.
He was born July 17, 1947 in Waynesburg, PA to his late father Delmar Kelley and his mother Ada R. (Elkin) English. A brother Lonnie L. Kelley preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Janet L. Ainsley Kelley; two sons, Andrew T. Kelley, Laurinburg, NC, and Timothy A. Kelley, Camp Hill; his mother, Ada R. English, Smithsburg, MD; a sister Marla L. Barkdoll, Smithsburg, MD; two step brothers, Robert English, Rices Landing, PA, and William English, Allison Park, PA; and two grand children.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating.
Viewing will be 6-8pm Monday in the funeral home.

Richard N. King, 74, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
A WWII Navy Veteran, He was a retired office manager for Ingersol Rand, Lewisberry. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
He was born August 7, 1926 in Lewistown, PA to the late Joseph N. and Marcella (Madigan) King.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline B. Gibarty King; four sons: Richard N. of East Pennsboro, Robert G. of New Cumberland, David G. of Enola, and Daniel G. also of New Cumberland; two sisters: Kathleen M. Pierce of Camp Hill and Betty R. Phelps of Boston, MA; and three grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Celebration will be celebrated at 10am Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Inurnment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
