Born July 25, 1922 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Eller Redfern, she was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in her church with the Rev. Leo M. Goodman III as celebrant.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Township. Friends may call from 10:15 to 11 a.m. in her church on Wednesday.

Alice K. Raffensberger, 72, of 157 N. West St., Carlisle died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born March 15, 1925 in Grantham, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Clara Bertha Teahl Heffelfinger. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by a son, Michael W. Raffensberger of Carlisle; a daughter, Dianne L. Heaster of Carlisle; two sisters, Frances Tibbons of Dillsburg and Pearl McCauslin of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor John Kratz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Mass of Christian burial for Nicholas S. "Nick" Riso, 66, of 1709 Fox Hunt Lane, Susquehanna Township, will be at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, on Thursday at 10 a.m.
He died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997 in Cooper University Hospital.
Born Nov. 29, 1930 in Batavia, N.Y., he was the son of the late Andrew and Josephine Zito Riso.
A graduate of Batavia High School and Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif., he was retired as president and CEO of Giant Foods Inc. and as executive vice president for retail operations of Ahold USA Inc. in Parsippany, N.J., Giant's parent company.
He previously was executive vice president and COO of Hills Supermarkets in Long Island, N.Y. and vice president and general manager for Allied Supermarkets of Detroit. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Natalie C. Riso; a daughter, Andrea M. Riso of Harrisburg; a son, Nicholas F. Riso of Eden Prarie, Minn.; six sisters, Josephine Battaglia and Terry Suozzi of Cape Coral, Fla., Rose Battaglia, Frances Gravanda and Pauline Gullo of Fort Myers, Fla. and Mary Davidson of Batavia; and one grandchild.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Harry Riso.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Friends will be received at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Susquehanna Township, today from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services for Dalton L. Rumberger, 71, of Carlisle, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Aurand Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
He died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997 at Carlisle Hospital.
Born Sept. 22, 1926 in Uniontown, he was a son of the late C. Lee and Jessie H. Hollinger Rumberger and the widower of the late Nancy L. Walker, who passed away June 6, 1994 after 41 years of marriage.
He retired from APV Rockford Inc., Rockford, Ill., where he served as vice president of sales for 20 years. He also worked for Fikes Dairy, Uniontown from 1978 to 1984. Prior to that he worked for Cherry Burrell Corp., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he was in sales and sales management for 20 years.
He graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1943, then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until 1946 aboard the USS Schroeder. After discharge, he received a bachelor's degree in agricultural science from Penn State University.
Mr. Rumberger was a member of the Syria Temple of Pittsburgh, Penn State Alumni Association, Penn State Letterman's Club, the Nittany Lion Club and the U.S. Navy Memorial Association.
He is survived by three daughters, Sue R. Foster and Jane R. Long of Midlothian, Va. and Amy R. Palma of Wintersville, Ohio; a son, Jeffrey S. Rumberger of Allen, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl E. Rumberger in 1993.
The Rev. Dr. H. Pat Albright will officiate at Saturday's services. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown, where graveside military services will be held by American Legion Post 23, Beaver Springs.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

She died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997 in Bon Secourse St. Joseph Hospital, Port Charlotte.
Born Oct. 15, 1933 in Selingrove, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Margaret M. DeVito and the widow of Stanley John Stone, who died in May 1982.
She was an office manager and executive secretary at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. She worked for the Diocese of Harrisburg before moving to Port Charlotte.
She also belonged to St. Charles Borromeo and was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Carlisle.
Surviving are a son, Thomas M. Stone of Bolinas, Calif.; two daughters, Karen Ann Fritz of McLean, Va. and Deborah Sue Nickel of Carlisle; and five grandchildren.
Monsignor Leo Biserschmitt will preside at Saturday's mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, North Middleton Township.

Mr. Warner owned and operated Paul's Electric Service in Penbrook. He was a member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg and he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Katharine B. Schonek Warner; two daughters, Kathie Alvanitakis of RR 3, Newport and Barbara Warner of Lexington, Ky.; four grandchildren; and a niece.

Ernest E. "Pete" Wilkes, 77, of Seffner, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997 at his residence.
Born Oct. 6, 1920 in Oak Park, Ga., he lived in the Tampa area since moving in 1988 from Mechanicsburg. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired from the Navy after 22 years.
Survivors are his wife, Ann Hejnar Wilkes; two sons, John Wilkes of Carlisle and Mark Wilkes of Dauphin; a daughter, Catherine Peters of Lewisberry; a stepdaughter, Annette M. Dunn of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Curtis Wilkes of Pooler, Ga. and Jerry Wilkes of Vidalia, Ga.; a sister, Emma Jean Catiloga of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Born March 21, 1908 in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late Arthur F. Jr. and Bertha Durand Yaggy and the widower of Kathryn E. Fisler Yaggy.
He was a graduate of Lafayette College, Easton in 1931 where he was president of the senior class. He sold life insurance in the Philadelphia area and he also worked for the former Carlisle Deposit Bank and Commonwealth National Bank.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle. He also was a member of the Carlisle Lions Club, where he was a former treasurer, and also the MORA Club of the YMCA, Carlisle.
Surviving are a son, Bradford Yaggy Jr., of Bozeman, Mont.; a brother, Calvin D. Yaggy of Hanover; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Anna Thompson will officiate at the memorial service. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements. There will be no viewing or visitation.
