She died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Aug. 24, 1909 in Girardville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jennie Adams.
Ms. Lavelle was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Good Shepard Club. She was also a volunteer at Cumberland County Nursing Home.
Surviving are one son, Thomas Lavelle of Middletown; three daughters, Jane L. Finch of South Riding, Va., Jean Malarkey of Roslyn and June Sauers of Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Keiffer.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg, where a rosary service will be held at 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial for L. Raymond Pryor, 66, of New Cumberland, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
He died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Born April 10, 1931 in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of the late John and Kathryn Brader Pryor.
A graduate of Kings College, Wilkes Barre, Mr. Pryor was a retired union electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 143, Harrisburg.
He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife, Anita Keating Pryor; three sons, Christopher J. and Timothy A., both of New Cumberland, and Jeffrey W. of Sewell, N.J.; three daughters, Patricia Skinner of Pennington, N.J., Lynn Pryor of Snow Shoe and Lori Barker of Camp Hill; one brother, John of Dillsburg; one sister, Kathryn Mitchell of Pittston; a great-aunt, Florence M. Pryor of Wilkes Barre; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael R. Pryor.
The Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence will officiate at Thursday's services. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township, Luzerne County.

Margaret S. Barlup Ream Reed, 85, of 359 Pleasantview Road, Fairview Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997 at home.
Born May 25, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Ottimer and Alice Ott Barlup.
Ms. Reed was a retired clerk examiner for Pennsylvania's Income Tax Division.
She was a member of First Church of God, New Cumberland; and a social member of VFW Post 7415 and auxiliary member of American Legion Post 143, both of New Cumberland.
Surviving are one daughter, Joan M. Hewitt, with whom she lived; one son, Norman A. Ream of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Township.

Robert W. Snader, 75, of 104 W. First St., Boiling Springs, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born July 3, 1922 in Port City, Iowa, he was a son of the late Wayne and Olive Radcliffe Snader.
A veteran of World War II and the Korean War, Mr. Snader was a retired Army master sergeant who served 21 years, including service in Africa, Italy and Germany. He was awarded five Battle Stars and the Purple Heart.
He was employed as eastern district manager for Burns Security Agency and also owned and operated Snaders Trading Post, Boiling Springs, from 1964 to 1973. He was also a former guard at Cumberland County Prison.
Mr. Snader was a life member of Elks Lodge 578, Carlisle; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8851, Boiling Springs; American Legion Post 15, Shippensburg; Blind Veterans Association; Boiling Springs Yellow Breeches Anglers; and Boiling Springs Sportsman's Club.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years; Berneda Heckman Snader; two sons, Kirk W. of York, Maine, and Alan L. of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Kenneth of Athens, Mich., and Roger of Mt. Holly Springs; four sisters, Betty Rosinski and Shirley Smith, both of Boiling Springs, Doris Rudolph of Mt. Holly Springs and Sally Myers of Naples, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Howard A. Kerstetter officiating.
Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Services for Albert J. Tomassone, 71, of Pine Hill, N.J., formerly of Carlisle, were held Friday, Oct. 31, 1997 in Harleigh Crematory, Camden, N.J.
He died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997 in Pine Hill.
Born July 29, 1926 in Philadelphia, Mr. Tomassone was a police dispatcher for Philadelphia.
Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Pisano Tomassone of Philadelphia; two sons, Daniel and Michael, both of Carlisle; one brother, George of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ann M. Zindren, 80, of Mechanicsburg, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Mrs. Zindren was born May 29, 1917 in New Brighton.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg, and a former member of the former Saints Cyryl & Methodius Catholic Church, New Brighton.
Surviving are her husband, John J. Zindren; one daughter, Rose Marie James of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Caroline Mestervoch of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Barbara Bendekovich of New Brighton; two brothers, Ignatius Duke Milladine of New Brighton and Nick Marcusick of Beaver Falls; and one granddaughter.
Burial will be in Sylvania Hill Cemetery, Rochester, at the convenience of the family.

Born March 28, 1943 in Carlisle, he was a son of Ruth Henry Long of Carlisle and the late Maynard Long.
A former employee of Hess Gas, Carlisle, Mr. Long was a 1963 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. He was a member of Wesley Brethren in Christ Church, Mt. Holly Springs.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Janice Hess Long; two daughters Anita L. and Khristie L., both at home; five sisters, Faye Hain, Louise Otto, Thelma Snyder and Brenda Long, all of Carlisle, and Judy Johnston of Morris, Minn.; and two brothers, Jesse and Maynard Jr., both of Carlisle.
The Rev. Richard A. Ross will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Township.

He died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997 in his home.
Born June 22, 1934 in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late Richard M. and Catherine Codori Cole. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle.
Retired in 1994 after 44 years of service with Sprint United Telephone Co. in Carlisle, he was a member of the Elks Lodge in Gettysburg and a 20-year veteran of Gettysburg Fire Department.
Mr. Cole was a 1952 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Joan Rickrode Cole; four sons, Steven R. of Endwell, N.Y., Michael A. of Hershey, Timothy A. of Mt. Holly Springs and Joseph R. of Carlisle; a daughter, Cindy L. Eichhorn of Mt. Holly Springs; seven brothers, Richard of Redbank, N.J., Kenneth and Philip, both of Orrtanna, David of Norristown, and William, Edwin and James, all of Gettysburg; a sister, Patricia O'Brien of Gettysburg; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cole.
The Rev. Andrew J. Fontanella will officiate at Friday's mass. Burial will be in St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Cemetery, Orrtanna.
