Born Sept. 19, 1924, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late George William and Ruth Dunkle Lippert Sr. and the widow of David M. Plummer.
Mrs. Plummer was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Howard of Carlisle; a granddaughter, Pamela Bear of Bloserville; a grandson, David Howard of Carlisle; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by two brothers Harry and George Lippert.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., with the Rev. Dr. Marlin L. Snider officiating.
Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, North Middleton Township.
There will be no viewing, but friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of the service Wednesday.
Charlotte H. Strayer, 74, of 2536 Maclay Mill Road, Shippensburg died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Feb. 28, 1923 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Harold I. and Edythe E. Duck Harper.
An Army veteran of World War II, Mrs. Strayer was employed by Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, working in the Health Clinic as an registered nurse.
She was a graduate of the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of nursing and a 1940 graduate of the Yeagerstown High School.
Mrs. Strayer was a member of Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post 223, and of Memorial Lutheran Church, both in Shippensburg.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. "Ditty" Strayer, who died Dec. 15, 1984; two daughters, Charlotte Zeigler and Patricia Strayer, and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy S. Tomczak of Shippensburg; one sister, Bernice Wagner of Shippensburg; one brother, Harold A. Harper of Lewistown; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bonnie B. Hoffman officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in Spring hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
The viewing will be Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

A memorial service for Louise Elizabeth Wilkins will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Elderly Day Activities, Fair Oaks School, 15 Oak Park Ave., Carlisle.
She was 81 years old when she died on Oct. 16, 1997. A resident of Carlisle since 1993, she moved here from Long Island, N.Y. to live with her youngest son, George Wilkins, and his family.
She was buried at Long Island National Cemetery on Nov. 7, 1997.
In addition to her son, George, she is survived by another son, Robert Wilkins of Alamogordo, N.M. and three grandchildren.

Walter E. Wolf, 80, of Forest Park Nursing Home and formerly of Dillsburg, died Thursday evening at the home.
Born Jan. 22, 1917, in Dillsburg, he was the son of the late George W. and Elda M. Wolf.
He was the widower of Grace I. Leathery Wolf.
He was a retired construction worker for Hempt Brothers for 50 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Judith E. Floto-Cook, Harrisburg and Beverly J. Detter and Diane I. Barker, both of Dillsburg; a sister, Mary Moose, Doylestown, and two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, with the Rev. Troy Howell officiating. Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Katherine Yufer, 82, of R. 220 Church St., Mill Hall, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997 in Williamsport.
Born Sept. 3, 1915 in Maynard, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Minnie Guritz Allen. She was married Dec. 12, 1936 to John H. Yufer, who died March 1, 1978.
She attended Mill Hall United Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Piper Aircraft during W.W. II and at General Armature for several years following the war.
She was a member of the Mill Hall Fire Company Auxiliary and also enjoyed playing cards, painting and hooking rugs.
Survivors include two sons, Allan R. Yufer of Mill Hall and William H. Yufer of Carlisle; one sister, Adeline Leone of RR 4, Mill Hall; three brothers, Elmer Allen of Lock Haven, Calvin L. Allen of RR 3, Mill Hall, and Robert L. Allen of Williamsport; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, with the Rev. Bethany Wood officiating.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven Rd.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Mill Hall Fire Co. Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m.

Walter Bertram Sr., 77, of Dillsburg died Sunday at home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1920 in Germany, a son of the late Frederick and Rose Bertram. He was the widower of Evelyn and Dorothy Bertram.
He was a member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran of WW II.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Mary Bertram, and his daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Jim Bosserman, all of Dillsburg; a brother, Ernest Bertram of Toms River, N.J.; and two grandsons, Christian and Stephen Bertram.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in his church with the Rev. James. C. Bonsell officiating. Burial will be in Grantham Memorial Cemetery, Upper Allen Township.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Nancy Fluke Cryder, 43, of 6 Sandy Hill Rd., Hummelstown, died Monday, Nov. 10, 1997 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was employed at Sprint as a data base administrator.
She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School, where she was a member of the Class of 1971, and received her bachelors and masters degrees from Shippensburg University. She was a member of N.E.N.A. and the Theta Kappa Sorority at Shippensburg University.
Surviving are her husband, Steven P. Cryder of Hummelstown, and her daughter, Michelle A. Cryder at home; her parents, Frederick C. Fluke and DeLois Houston Fluke of Huntingdon; her brother, David F. Fluke of Carlisle; her father-in-law, Franklin P. Cryder and her mother-in-law, Blanche Y. Cryder, both of Hummelstown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home Inc., Harrisburg.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

Franklin S. Rhinehart, 74, of 107 Oxford Rd., Gardners passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, 1997 at the Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Sept. 25, 1923 in Adams County to the late Paul and Alice Starner Rhinehart.
He was retired from the former C.H. Masland and Son Co. with 32 years of service. He attended the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God.
A WW II Army veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart, he was a member of the VFW 7343, American Legion 674 and the Eagles 1299.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys E. Minich Rhinehart; two sons, Franklin S. Jr. of Boiling Springs and Charles P. Sr. of Gardners; two daughters, Constance G. Sheriff of Gardners and Alice B. Frey of York Springs; nine grandchildren and one step-grandchild; three sisters, Charlotte Steigleman of Carlisle, Isabelle Cassel of Shippensburg, and Alice Cornman of Mt. Holly Springs.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Ralph, Walter, Harold and Paul; and two sisters, Pearl Bevins and Catherine Rhinehart.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Richard Reese officiating.
Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Township.
Viewing is Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs and at the church Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
