He died Sunday, Nov. 30, 1997 at his residence.
Born July 2, 1925 in New York City, he was the son of the late Joseph and Virginia DeOrio Colarusso.
Retired as president of Pomeroy's Department Stores, he was a graduate of Fordham University in New York. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II and Korea, and was a member of Blessed Katherine Drexel Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Louise A. Henricks Colarusso; three sons, Thomas H. of Chicago, Ill., Michael J. of Pittsburgh and John P. of Ambler; a daughter, Susan M. Saldo of New York City; a sister, Maria Kurkowski of Douglaston, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
The Rev. James R. O'Brien will be celebrant at Thursday's mass. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church. Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Russell E. Dehart, 72, of 734 Mickey Inn Lane, Chambersburg, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
He died Friday, Nov. 28, 1997 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Born March 13, 1925 in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Cleveland G. and Hazel E. Mull Dehart.
He retired in 1990 from T. B. Woods, where he worked for 43 years as a warehouseman.
Surviving are his wife, Stella O. Foore Dehart; a daughter, Glenda F. Picking of Chambersburg; two sons, Russell W. Dehart of Fayetteville and Terry L. Dehart of Chambersburg; a brother, Carl F. Dehart of Fayetteville; five sisters, Dorothy Swanger and Evelyn Knable of Chambersburg, Charolotte Gilbert and Shirley Tolbert of Fayetteville and Julia Acker of Bridgeville, Del.; six granchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover C. Dehart and Lester Dehart.
The Rev. Clarence W. DeHart will officiate at Wednesday's services. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

A memorial service for Carl "Bill" J. Gerber, 69, of 20 Garland Court, Carlisle, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.
He died Sunday, Nov. 30, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born May 4, 1928 in Grantham, he was the son of the late Bruce and Alma Sterner Gerber. He was a sales representative for PPG Industries for over 35 years.
A graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, he was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Dorris M. Bricker Gerber; a son, Carl J. Gerber II of Carlisle; a brother, Harold B. Gerber of Mechanicsburg; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. James A. Gilchrist, John L. Larson and James J. Ferguson will officiate at Wednesday's service. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the memorial service at the church. Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Wayne Laban Hawbaker, 55, of 17839 Cedar Ave., Fannettsburg, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Nov. 17, 1942 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the Rev. Laban G. and Mary C. Staver Hawbaker of Chambersburg.
He retired in October 1996 from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, where he worked for 14 years. Earlier in his life he worked for the York Bank and Trust Co. and Rutter's Dairy, both of York.
A 1960 graduate of Northeastern High School, Manchester, he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a medic with the 1st Cavalry Division in 1963 and 1964. He received the Vietnam Service Medal and Expert Rifle Medal.
He was a member of Criders Church of the Brethren, Chambersburg; Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168, Shippensburg; and James McCartney American Legion Post 232, Dry Run.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Hedge Hawbaker; a brother, Ray F. Hawbaker of St. Thomas; and three sisters, Margaret Klinger of York, Berniece Bartle of Waynesboro and Sharon Lehner of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Jaye M. Bartle officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Taylor Township, Fulton County. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and American Legion posts.

He died Sunday, Nov. 30, 1997 at home.
Born Nov. 5, 1917, the son of the late Phillip and Sally Murray Pease and the widower of Esther Pease, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad and Wilcox Forging Co., Mechanicsburg.
Mr. Pease was a member of VFW Post 6704, American Legion Post 109 and Disabled American Veterans, all of Mechanicsburg.
He is survived by a son, Nathaniel E. Jr. of Etters; two daughters, Sandra L. Fisher of New Cumberland and Esther Boose of Dillsburg; a brother, Neal of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Ainslee Geesey of Mechanicsburg; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Born Feb. 9, 1916 in Blackstone, Mass., he was the son of the late John J. and Annie J. McGinley Rynn.
He retired from the U.S. Army in September 1963 after achieving the rank of major. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
Maj. Rynn was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Helene V. Tricario Rynn; two sons, Patrick J. of Hagerstown, Md. and Maj. Philip G. of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; two daughters, Veronica A. Gerber of Westport, Conn. and Kathleen M. Mayer of Zwelbrucken, Germany; two sisters, Mary G. Mailloux and Anna T. Lavallee of Woonsocket, R.I.; and six grandchildren.
The Rev. Daniel F. Lawler officiated at today's funeral services. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, where members of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW of Chambersburg will conduct a military graveside service.

Born April 12, 1930 in New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Carl E. Harriman and Dorothy J. Story Harriman and the widow of Royal E. Smith.
She was a librarian for more than 30 years at Abington Social Library, Abington, Conn.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Wolf Den Grange and VFW Ladies Auxillary in Connecticut and the Coyle Friends of Chambersburg. She was a volunteer at the Toy Mission in Chambersburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Lt. Col. Carla J. Smith of Chambersburg; a sister, Sally Johnso of, Pomfret, Conn.; and a brother, Ed Harriman of Milton, N.H.
The Rev. Peter W. Murday will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery, Abington, Conn.

Allen R. Clark, 63, of Camp Hill and formerly of Lemoyne, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born May 17, 1934 in Mt. Union, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late James L. and Mary Burke Clark and the widower of Dorothy Mae Clark,
He was chief deputy coroner for Cumberland County since 1983 and became the county's first full-time deputy coroner in 1992.
Mr. Clark also was a former account executive for Motorola Inc., a licensed private investigator, and Hampden Township's second police chief.
"I've known him 30 years," said Michael Norris, county coroner. "It was sudden, unexpected."
Norris said he has worked with Clark since the two were with the Hampden Township police department in the late 1960s.
Mr. Clark graduated from both Lemoyne High School and The FBI Academy in Quantico, Va. He also was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in Korea.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Coroner's Association; Cumberland County Law Enforcement Officers Association; past president and life member of Hampden Township Ambulance Association; past president of Cumberland Valley Jim Beam Club; and was active in various bowling leagues at Trindle Bowl, Mechanicsburg.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Byers of Hummelstown; three sons, James W. and Douglas A. of Mechanicsburg and Donald W. Chesbro of Wormleysburg; two half-sisters, Linda J. Leiser of Camp Hill and Lana C. Henry of Harrisburg; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
