A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Chaplain Bruce Farrell officiating.

Clyde W. Preisler, 65, of 841 Forest Road, Chambersburg, died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997 in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 4, 1932 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Dyer and Artiscia King Preisler.
He was a 1950 graduate of Chambersburg High School. He retired in 1989 after 25 years of service as an electrician at IBEA Local 143, Harrisburg.
He attended St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamson, and Abundant Life Chapel in Chambersburg.
He was a life member of the Franklin Fire Company Station 4, Chambersburg.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Daugherty Preisler of Chambersburg; one daughter, Vickie L. Negley of Chambersburg; three sons, Robert L. Preisler of Chambersburg, Timothy S. Preisler of Pom Bay, Fla., and Stephen R. Preisler of East Berlin; one sister, Alice Stouffer of Landsdown; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Preisler, and two brothers, Ralph Preisler and Dyer Preisler Jr.
A religious service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5327 Warm Spring Road, Williamson, with the Rev. Alan R. Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Viewing will be Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church.

Reginald M. Suzuki, 87, of 120 E. Winding Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997, at Manor Care Health Services.
Born Aug. 13, 1910, in Perth Amboy, N.J., he was the son of the late Reginald G. and Margaret Josko Susuki.
He was a graduate of Perkiomen Prep School and graduated in 1936 from Dickinson College in Carlisle.
Mr. Suzuki was a former employee of Hunt Corporation and P.R. Hoffman, both of Carlisle, and retired from Progresso Services, Harrisburg, with 27 years of service.
He was president of Leper Farm Sportsman's Club and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are two foster sons, Edward Renard of Newville and Clyde Mumma of Mechanicsburg, and a cousin, Andrew Josko of Sarasota, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle. Friends may call there from 10 to 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Linda J. Boswell, 46, of 908 Franklin St., Carlisle, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, in Hershey Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 27, 1951, in Carlisle and resided all her life in Carlisle. She was a graduate of Carlisle Senior High School.
Mrs. Boswell was employed by Capital Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Lemoyne as a customer service representative.
She was a member of West Street AME Zion Church, Carlisle, where she was a member of the choir, the ushers board, the missionary board and the finance committee. She was a member and president of the Buds of Promise of the church
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Paul H. Boswell Jr.; two daughters, Shanell E. Budd of Carlisle and Heather A. Charles of Newburg; her parents, Frank E. and Sara G. Snowden Byers of Carlisle; five sisters, Sylvia A. Water of Oberlin and Maxine B. Patterson, Charmaine N. Felton, Moni L. Harper and Candace J. Byers-Hodge, all of Carlisle, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in West Street AME Zion Church, Carlisle, with Rev. Robert Richmond and Rev. Robert Woodall officiating.
Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in West Pennsboro Township.

Alice S. Goodyear died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, in the Thornwald Home, 442 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle.
She was born in Fraizier, Chester County, a daughter of the late Harmer W. and Mary Seeds Stephens.
Mrs. Goodyear resided most of her life in Carlisle.
She was the widow of Jacob M. Goodyear, who died July 1, 1956. She also was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Morrett Goodyear II, who died Jan. 26, 1989.
Mrs. Goodyear was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Altar Guild in Carlisle, Carlisle Hospital Auxiliary, Carlisle YWCA and its Quilting Guild, Friends of the Bosler Library, Carlisle Historical Society, Carlisle Garden Club, Carlisle Civic Club, Cumberland County Lawyers Wives Association, Mary Dickens Club and Sarah A. Todd Home Auxiliary.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 E. High St., Carlisle with the Rev. William C. Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, Carlisle. There will be no viewing.

John A. Husic, 83, of 506 Range End Road, Carroll Township, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was born Sept. 15, 1914, in Steelton a son of the late Michael A. and Agnes Husic.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel in Steelton. He also was a former employee of Book of the Month Club in Upper Allen Township and the former Capital Products in Hampden Township.
Mr. Husic was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Upper Allen Township.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl R. Wentz Husic; a son, James E. Husic of Dillsburg; two daughters, Florence M. Kerns of Middletown and Tonya A. Husic of Dillsburg; two brothers, William Husic and Randolph Husic of Steelton; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Panagos, 60, of 100 E. King St., Shippensburg, died Wednesday in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 4, 1937, in Neohorion, Greece, he was a son of the late Efthimeos G. and Vasiliki Panagos Panagos.
Mr. Panagos was the owner of the Pizza House in Shippensburg for the last 25 years.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
The Rev. George Daskalakis will officiate at Saturday's services. The viewing will begin Saturday one hour before the services. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery in Greene Township.

He died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1916 in Eckley, he was a son of the late John and Anna Rindock Sabol.
Dr. Sabol was a graduate of M.M.I. Preparatory School in Freeland, Lehigh University and a 1943 graduate of Temple Medical School in Philadelphia, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
He was a general practitioner in Carlisle for many years.
A captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II, Dr. Sabol served in the China-Berma-India Theater and held a Bronze Star.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Carlisle, where he was a former choir member. He also was a member of the Cumberland County and Pennsylvania medical societies; Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Elks Lodge 578, all of Carlisle; and a former president of Cumberland County TB Association.
Surviving are his wife, Betty June Gibb Sabol; two sons, John R. of Glen Rock and James B. of Merritt Island, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Andrew J. Fontanella will officiate at Tuesday's service. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, Carlisle.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
