Helen Louise Bashore
Helen Louise (Adams) Bashore, 80, of Allendale, Lower Allen Twp. died Wednesday 9/19/2001 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a Vice President and Director for the Edwin H. Heim Co., Harrisburg, a former Cub Scout den mother and a former Sunday school teacher at Paxtang Presbyterian Church, Paxtang. She was a volunteer for years at Harrisburg Hospital. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; West Shore Country Club, Camp Hill and Quail Ridge Country Club, Boynton Beach, FL.
She was born 4/13/21 to the late James L. & Edith (Rhodes) Adams.
She is survived by a daughter Pamela B. Gagne of Wyndmoor, PA; a son Larry Bashore of Mechanicsburg; a sister Mary Reilly of Holidaysburg, PA and 5 grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 pm Monday 9/24/2001 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Visitation will be from 1-2pm Monday in the funeral home.

Frank Wesley Baker
Frank Wesley Baker, 84, of Yeager Personal Care Nursing Home, Mechanicsburg and formerly of New Cumberland, died Friday at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired Warehouseman from the former US Navy Depot, Mechanicsburg and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Carlisle. He enjoyed crafts and making models.
He was born July 25, 1917 in Harrisburg to the late John and Blanche Baker.
The widow of Lillian S. Baker, he is survived by five sons, Dennis Baker of Lewisberry, Clifford of New Cumberland, Richard of Omaha, Nebraska, Steven of Etters and Thomas of New Cumberland; three daughters, Nancy Beard of Etters, Diane Baker of New Cumberland, and Deborah Mosely of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Persis Deakins of West Covena, CA and Mildred Brink of Xenia, OH; twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, www.parthemore.com. Private interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Viewing will be from 1-2pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

John S. "Bo" Bald
John S. "Bo" Bald, 32, of Etters, Newberry Twp. and formerly of Torrance, California died Sunday July 8, 2001 in South Creek Twp., Bradford Co., PA.
He was the Sales Manager for Yamaha of Camp Hill and an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War and the Panama Operation. He was a member of East Coast Enduro Association; South Penn Enduro Riders; Western NY Off Road Riders Association; American Motorcycle Association, District 7; American Legion Post 143 and VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland.
He was born 6/14/69 in Harbor City, CA to John B. & Barbara Ann (Culley) Bald of Gilroy, CA. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Monica J. (Benda) Bald; 4 sisters, Yvette Summers of Mechanicsburg, Carole Ballew of Charlottesville, VA, Linda Wackowitz and Diane Weseman, both of Elgin, IL; and his maternal grandmother Cleo Culley of Hemet, CA.
Services will be held 2 pm Friday 7/13/2001 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Etters, Newberry Twp.
Viewing will be from 1-2pm Friday in the funeral home.
Roy Betz
Roy Betz, 80, of Newberry Township, PA, died Thursday, July 26, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
He was a retired Mechanic with over 40 years service for Brenner Motors, Harrisburg; an Army Veteran of WWII; a member of VFW Post 537, Etters; American Legion Post 791, Shiloh; and enjoyed meeting with friends while walking at the Capital City Mall.
He is survived by his wife Arlene Schaffner Betz; two sons, Roy M., New Bloomfield, and Sheldon R. Betz, Dushore, PA; a daughter, Wanda K. Cassel, Leola; a sister Mabel E. Dugan, Newberry Township; 10 grand children; 2 great grand children; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. George M. Weaver, Paddletown St. Paul United Methodist Church, Newberry Twp.
Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Viewing will be 10-11 am Monday in the funeral home.

John E. Bowers
John E. Bowen, 61, of Lewisberry, died Tuesday at Lebanon Veterans Administration Medical Center.
An Army veteran, he was a Welder for Chromalloy of Harrisburg. He was a member of Paddletown St. Paul's United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting.
He was born August 2, 1940 in Bedford County to the late Harry and Mary (Stockenus) Bowen.
He is survived by his wife, Kim A. Bowen; two sons, John E. Bowen of Loysville and John M. McFarland of Lewisberry; two daughters, Gina D. Foose of Shermans Dale and Winter M. McFarland of Lewisberry; a brother, Bud Bowen of Bud Lake, NJ; two sisters, Thelma Conklin of Hackettstown, NJ and Shirley Barnett of Manns Choice, PA; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be from 8:30am until time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Paul E. Bressler
Paul Eugene Bressler, 86, formerly of New Cumberland died Tuesday 9/11/2001 in Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.
He was a retired salesman for Acme Auto Parts; a WWII Army Air Corps veteran; and a graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and its Men's Bible Class; Euclid Lodge # 698, F&AM, Harrisburg; and a former member of the Men's Chorus of Bethany Village.
He was born 3/17/15 in Mifflintown, PA to the late Howard J. & Jennie (Emory) Bressler. He is survived by his wife Helen (Swiler) Bressler and a nephew David S. Bressler.
Services will be held 2pm Saturday 9/15/2001 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services, Saturday in the funeral home.

Barbara Perry Brogan
Barbara Perry Brogan, 56, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp., died Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a member of American Legion Guy E Shelley Jr. Post No 974, New Cumberland.
She was born April 24, 1945 in Kahalui, Maui, Hawaii to the late William McLean and Barbara (Devins) Perry.
Her husband, J. Patrick Brogan, Jr.; two sons, Joseph P. Brogan, III of Orlando, FL and E. Christopher Brogan of Merritt Island, FL; a daughter, Tara Marie Hocker of New Cumberland; a sister, Julianne Lee of Kula, Maui, Hawaii; and four grandchildren survive her.
There will be no viewing or services.
