Robert Brian Egolf
Robert Brian Egolf, 50 of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Friday, November 30th, 2001 at his home.
He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was a clerk at the Unimart in New Cumberland and also at Sunoco A plus in Camp Hill. He enjoyed hunting and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
He was born May 10, 1951 in State College to the late Thomas Hefner and Mary Jane Egolf. His wife, Mary Jane; a son, Nathan L. of Fairview Twp.; three brothers, Allen of Connecticut, Martin of Lower Allen Twp, and Michael of State College; and a sister, Mary Lynn Egolf of State College, survive him.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Viewing will be from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

John W. Fogleman, Jr.
John W. Fogleman, Jr., 60, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
A Viet Nam Army Veteran, he was a Registered Nurse for the State Corrections Institute in Camp Hill. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Blain, and a member of SEIU Local 1199.
He was born July 9, 1941 in Loysville, Perry County, PA to the late John W. Fogelman, Sr. & Anna G. (Stewart) Fogleman of Blain.
He was the widower of Gladys L. (Smith) Fogleman. Two sons, Michael W. Fogleman of Dover, PA; David J. Fogleman of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Christine M. Newsome of Aviano, Italy; one brother, Frank L. Fogleman of Chambersburg, PA; one sister, Linda Fogleman of Kingwood, WV; and one grandson, John W. Fogleman, III survive him. One grandson, Harrison Xavier Fogleman, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2002, at the funeral home with The Rev. Richard D. Schoenly officiating. Burial will be in Blain Cemetery, Blain, Perry County, PA.
Viewing will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, January 17, 2002 at the funeral home.

Joel A. Galitsky
Joel A. Galitsky, 41, of New Cumberland, died Thursday, December 6, 2001, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a general supply specialist at the NAVICP, Mechanicsburg; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; New Cumberland Boating and Fishing Club; Am vets, Austin, PA; Penn Harris Gun Club; he was an avid Sportsman and NASCAR fan.
He was born May 21, 1960, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Joseph J. Galitsky and his mother, Catherine M. (Melcavage) Galitsky, New Cumberland.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Plesce Galitsky; two daughters, Kelly M. and Katie M., both at home; a step daughter, Chris M. Farner, Lewisberry; two sisters, Laurie A. Rock, Fairview Twp. and Barbara A. Green, Cocoa Beach, FL; two aunts, Carolyn Peters, Lemoyne, and Joann Szollosy, New Cumberland; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Tuesday at his church with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence as celebrant. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday with a scripture service beginning at 6:15pm at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Liam A. Gallagher
Liam A. Gallagher, 8, of New Cumberland died Sunday 11/18/2001 in Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp., PA.
He was a third grade student at Red Mill Elementary School, Newberry Twp., PA, West Shore School District; a member of the Cub Scouts in Fort Lewis, WA; enjoyed roller blading; loved traveling; and was an avid soccer and hockey fan.
He was born 2/8/1993 in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey A. and Gabriela M. (Littwin) Gallagher; his paternal grandparents L.V. and Alma (Gambee) Gallagher of Silverton, OR; his maternal grandparents Klaus and Ingrid (Gulden) Littwin of Ettlingen, Germany.
Memorial service will be held 10:30 am Saturday 11/24/2001 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, PA. Committal will be at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of service Saturday in the funeral home.

Mary Gifford
Mary Gifford, 98, of New Cumberland, PA, died Thursday, January 3, 2002, at West Shore Heath and Rehab Center, East Pennsboro Township.
She was a retired employee of the Albany Casting Company, Voorheesville, New York; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; West Shore Senior Citizen's Center, New Cumberland; and enjoyed gardening.
She was born August 27, 1903, in Alexandria, PA, to the late Michael and Kathryn Solytk.
Her husband, Wayland R. Gifford and two nephews survive her. Funeral services will be held 1:30pm Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be private.
Viewing will be 12:30-1:30pm Tuesday in the funeral home.

Gerald F. Gilbert, Jr.
Gerald F. Gilbert, Jr., 75, of Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, December 02, 2001 in Messiah Village Nursing Facility, Upper Allen Twp. He was a native of West Reading.
Gerry retired from Harsco Corporation as Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army serving in World War II in the South Pacific and Japan. He graduated from Lehigh University with a Chemical Engineering degree. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church in New Cumberland. He served on the Board of Trustees there and enjoyed acting with the Drama Group Players. A member of the Board of Directors for Pennsylvanians for Right to Work, Inc., he served as Secretary of that organization for many years. Gerry was also on the Good Will Industries Board. He was founder and first President of Central Pennsylvania Corporate Relations Society. In addition, he served on the Board of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. He loved to share a funny story and listen to Dixieland jazz.
He was born April 29, 1926 to the late Gerald F. and Florence Adelia (Anderson) Gilbert.
His wife, Shirley L. Douty Gilbert; two daughters, Gretchen L. Cale of Mechanicsburg and Heidi J. Flurkey of Harrisburg; and grandson, Luke J. Flurkey of Harrisburg, survive him.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday at his church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Daniel M. Glancey
Daniel M. Glancey, 14, of Camp Hill died Monday 11/12/2001in his residence.
He was a freshman at Cedar Cliff High School, a National Gold Key Award recipient for Creative Writing in Humor for his piece "An Elf's Work is Never Done", and a former West Shore Soccer Club player with the division II Rage; a member of the National Junior Honor Society; Technology Student Association; the Cedar Cliff High School German Club; and Shiremanstown United Methodist Church.
Dan was born March 10, 1987 in Harrisburg, PA.
He is survived by his parents Michael L. and Diane E. "Dede" (Rupp) Glancey; a sister Samantha V. Glancey, at home; his paternal grandparents LeRoy J. & Patricia J. Glancey of New Cumberland; his maternal grandfather Herbert G. Rupp, Jr. of Wormleysburg; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service will be held 7:30pm Thursday 11/15/2001 in his church with the Rev. John Kurtz, his pastor officiating. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30pm Thursday in the church.
