William N. Devenney
William N. Devenney, 92, of Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp., died Wednesday, May 31, at the Village.
A WWII Army Veteran, he served in both the European theater of operations in Paris, France, and the Asiatic Pacific Theater in Manilla. He was a partner with the former Paper Distributors, Harrisburg. He was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Harrisburg; Past Worshipful Master of Perseverance Lodge No. 21, F & AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple; Past president Zembo Luncheon Club; Past Grand Tall Cedar, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forrest No. 43, Harrisburg.
He was born January 10, 1908 in Mechanicsburg to the late Norman and Maude (Stone) Devenney.
The widower of Dorothy Margaret Dunkleberger Devenney, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, June 7, at Messiah Village Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Earl W. Dreher
Earl W. Dreher, 81, of New Cumberland died Sunday, April 16 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Master Sergeant in the Air Force from the 514th Detachment, 3499th Field Training Group and was also retired from the Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Hampden Twp. He was a WWII and Korean War veteran and earned the National Defense Service Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Defense Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and the Air Force Longevity Medal. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and its Mens Bible Study; West Shore Lodge #681 F&AM, Camp Hill and Rapid City Lodge #25 F&AM, Rapid City; Harrisburg Consistory, AASR; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #43; Air Force Sergeant's Assn. Chapter #264, Harrisburg; Forest Gun Club, Pottsville; Marysville Sportsmen's Club; VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland; and New Cumberland Retired Men's Club.
He was born 6/19/1918 in Pottsville, PA to the late Earl G. & Ellen M. Reifsnyder.
He was the widower of Louise I. (Stetler) Dreher and is survived by a daughter Suzanne I. Welch of New Cumberland; a son Alan L. of Morrison, CO; a sister Evelyn M. Sroka of Reading; and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 am Wednesday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA.
Viewing will be from 9:30am until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home with a masonic service at 10am.

Stella M. Drake
Stella M. Drake, 86, formerly of Mechanicsburg died Tuesday, 7/4/2000 in West Shore Health & Rehabilitation, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired clerk for the former Grants Department Store, Harrisburg and a member of First Church of God, New Cumberland.
She was born 10/10/13 in Harrisburg to the late William E. & Frances N. (Winter) Geiger.
She was the widow of William S. Drake and is survived by 2 sons, Don S. of York Haven and Wayne E. of CA; 2 brothers, Kenneth L. Geiger and Edwin W. Geiger, both of Camp Hill; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 2 pm Friday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home.

Dennis L. Druckemiller
Dennis L. Druckemiller, 41, of Wormleysburg, died Saturday, February 12, 2000 in his home.
He was a packer for DDRE, New Cumberland. A graduate of Western Pittsburgh School for the Deaf, he was a member of West End Republican Club, Harrisburg and Political Club of the 17th Ward of Harrisburg.
He was born September, 21, 1958 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania to David Druckemiller and Mary Ann Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Anne Duttry Druckemiller; two children, Jason P. and Jennifer A.; four brothers, David, Jr. of Lewistown and James of Harrisburg, Richard Austin of Enola and Kenneth Austin of Lemoyne; a sister, Angela Austin of Lemoyne; a step-father, James Walker of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Visitation will be from 6pm until time of service Sunday.

Helen Ruth Eberly
Helen Ruth Eberly, 85, formerly of Ramsey Place Apartments, New Cumberland died Thursday, September 14, 2000 at her daughter's home in York Haven.
She was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania State Department of the Treasury and was a former employee of Manbeck's Bakery, Lemoyne. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and enjoyed crafts and walking.
She was born January 10, 1915 in Gettysburg to the late William F. and Mary M. (Rehm) Flemming.
The widow of Joseph M. Eberly, she is survived by a son, Edward M. Mundis, Jr. of Tamaqua; two daughters, Joanne M. Estright of York Haven, and A. Jane Tezak of Steelton; a brother, Charles W. Flemming of Essex, MD; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Celebration will be held at 10:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Norman G. Eby, 61, of New Cumberland, PA, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, at Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.
He was a retired bus driver for Capital Area Transit, Harrisburg. He was born January 13, 1939, in Lower Paxton Twp., PA to the late Norman R. and Viola (Noll) Eby. He is survived by his wife Karen E. Prosser Eby; a son Norman G. Eby, Jr., Dillsburg; a daughter, Deidre A. Kerstetter, Middletown; a brother Rolland Eby, Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Janet Alspach, Canal Winchester, OH, and Nancy Adams, Lakeside, CA; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Dr. John A. Fries, Jr., of Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, Carlisle, officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Imogene Gentel Elden, 84, of New Cumberland died Tuesday 8/15/2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and a former bank teller in Philadelphia.
She was born 9/26/15 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Horace & Imogene (Grebel) Gentel.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Elden, Jr.; 3 daughters, Joanne Elden Beale of Centreville, VA, Marguerite Elden Ryan of Gaithersburg, MD, and Christine E. King of Woodbridge, VA; and 4 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday in her church with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence, her pastor celebrating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30am Friday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
