Irene Harbart
Irene Harbart, 56, of Newberry Township, PA, died Monday, January 7, 2002 in Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.
She was born March 20, 1945 in Johnstown, PA to the late Theodore and Helen (Gembinski) Vozniak.
She is survived by her husband William F. Harbart; a son, William T. Harbart, Newberry Twp.; two daughters, Christine I. Griffith, Centerville, and Patricia I. Campbell, Lemoyne; a brother, Carl Vozniak, Meadowlands, PA; two grandsons, Jason M. Griffith and Jacob C. Griffith.
Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Carl F. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Viewing will be 6-8pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
Arthur Clarke Hettinger, Sr.
Arthur Clarke Hettinger, Sr., 65, of Camp Hill and formerly of New Cumberland died Sunday January 27, 2002 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a Research & Development Engineer for Tyco, Harrisburg and previously for the former Berg Electronics, Fairview Twp. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He was a graduate of Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre earning his B.S. in Chemistry and Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Masters in Mechanics. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, VFW Post 7415 both of New Cumberland; the American Legion; New Cumberland Fire Department; New Cumberland Special Police; West Shore Lodge #681, Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine and its Highlanders Unit, Harrisburg; M.E.N.S.A.; and a Senior Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers.
He was born 10/4/36 in Plymouth, PA to the late Willard & Elizabeth (Baginski) Hettinger.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann (Janusziewicz) Hettinger; 4 sons, Michael Clarke Hettinger of Warrington, PA, Arthur Clarke Hettinger, Jr. of New Cumberland, PA, Christopher Clarke Hettinger of Camp Hill and Jonathan Clarke Hettinger of Lewisberry; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Thursday 1/31/2002 in his church with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence, his pastor celebrating Mass. Inurnment with military honors will be 10:30 am Friday 2/1/2002 in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday with a Scripture service at 6:30pm and 9-9:30 am Thursday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

John S. Hoffman
John S. Hoffman, 89, of Braddock Hills Boro and formerly of Camp Hill, died Monday February 18, 2002 in Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville.
He was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired Machinist Mate for the former Bleach Russ, Brooklyn, NY. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Forrest Hills, PA and a former member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland, and Loyal Order of the Moose, No. 382, Steelton.
He was born August 27, 1912 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Theresa (Gmerick) Hoffman.
He is survived by his wife, Anna M. (Hasso) Hoffman; and a niece Helene Baur of Braddock Hills Boro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Sara B. Ickes
Sara B. Ickes, 90, of Alpine, CA, and formerly of Camp Hill, died Friday, February 15, 2002, at West Shore Health and Rehab, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill.
She was born April 7, 1911 in Hummelstown, PA, to the late Benjamin and Sara Deimler Bomgardner.
She was the widow of George L. Ickes, Sr. She is survived by her son, George L. Ickes, Jr., Alpine, CA; her daughter, Patricia A. Trayer, Camp Hill; one grand child.
Graveside services will be held 9:30am Tuesday in Hummelstown Cemetery, Hummelstown, PA.

Robert W. Irvin
Robert W. Irvin, 80, of Leola, and formerly of New Cubmerland died Monday, March 4, 2002, at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a retired Engine Repairman for Conrail working out of Enola. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and an avid HAM Radio Operator.
He was born July 9, 1921 in Conshocken to the late Robert and Beulah Irvin.
He is survived by his son, Robert C. Irvin of Leola; a daughter, Bobbi M. Adams of Fairview Twp.; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10am Thursday at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Kenneth G. C. Jumper, 41, of New Cumberland died Friday March 22, 2002 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a Forklift Operator for Genco Distribution System, Lemoyne and a graduate of Red Land High School, West Shore School District, Fairview Twp.
He was born April 28, 1960 in Harrisburg, PA.
He is survived by a son IT3 Kenneth E. Jumper, U.S.N. of Norfolk, VA; his parents, Clarence H. & Sarah M. (Cook) Jumper of Fairview Twp.; a sister Peggy Jo Stewart of Indianapolis, IN; and a brother Robin R. Jumper of Etters.
There will be no service.

Donald E. Kaufmann, 79, of Allendale, Lower Allen Twp. died Wednesday February 6, 2002 in his residence.
He was a retired sales engineer for W.E. Shipley Machinery Co., Media, PA; a graduate of Wilson High School, Reading; entered the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII and Korea as a pilot and flight instructor; and attended Pennsylvania State University, Berks Campus. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Highland Park, Lower Allen Twp.; B.P.O.Elks West Shore Lodge #2257, Camp Hill; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #382, Steelton; American Legion Post #998, Lawnton; Hershey Italian Lodge; and Mechanicsburg Commissioned Officers Mess.
He was born 11/26/22 in Reading, PA to the late Herbert G. & Cora I. (Chappell) Kaufmann.
He was the widower of Mary E. (Brophy) Kaufmann and is survived by a daughter Sally A. Newton of Greensboro, NC; 2 sons, Randall D. and Rick D., both of Camp Hill; 7 grandchildren and a great grandson.
Services will be held 11 am Saturday 2/9/2002 in his church with the Rev. Linda Hostetter, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services, Saturday in the church.
