Harvey Earl Reeser
Harvey Earl Reeser, 83, of Lower Allen Twp., PA, died Wednesday, March 06, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired foreman for Bethlehem Steel Company, Steelton, PA and also was a retired Sound Technician for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives; a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown; he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, clock making and squirrel tracking.
He was born February 1, 1919, in White Horse, Lancaster County, to the late Harvey P. and Ada I. (Wanner) Reeser.
He was the widower of Verna B. Brown Reeser and predeceased by a son, Gary E. Reeser. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Dintaman Reeser; two sons, Jack Eshelman, Jr., New Cumberland, and Steven E. Eshelman, Summerdale; three daughters, Diane L. Reeser, Enola, Linda K. Mull, Mechanicsburg, and Lori A. Kapp, Dillsburg; a brother, Raymond F. Reeser, Holdredge, NE; twelve grand children; 6 great grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday in his church with the Revs. Charles E. Cole and Dr. Terry Zebulski officiating.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be 6-8 Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland and also 1 to 1:45pm Monday at the church.

Patrick M. Robertson
Patrick M. Robertson, 38, of Enola died Saturday February 9, 2002 in Little Rock, AR. He was a Microsoft Certified Warehouse Operations Supervisor for Arnold Logistics, Middletown and an excellent guitarist.
He was born February 13, 1963 in Harrisburg, PA to Floyd E. Robertson and the late Theresa (Condon) Robertson Edmundson.
In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Lisa (McCrea) Robertson; 3 daughters, Theresa Marie Berry of Carlisle, Jessica Emily Robertson and Jasmine Marie Robertson, both at home; his stepfather Donald E. Edmondson of Mechanicsburg; 2 step sisters, Joan Dahlberg of Philadelphia and Laura Marie Foulkrod of Harrisburg; 4 step brothers, James Hartey of Philadelphia, Stephen Hartey of Kunkeltown, PA, Gregory Hartey of Jacksonville, FL and William Hartey of Philadelphia.
Services will be held 11 am Friday February 15, 2002 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, PA. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp., PA.
Viewing will be one hour prior to services Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Catharine M. Slaseman, 93, of Country Meadows, Hampden Twp., and formerly of Wormleysburg, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired dressmaker for Penn Garment, Harrisburg; and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was the widow of Bruce H. Slaseman. She is survived by a step son, Earl Slaseman, New Cumberland; a sister, Jeannette I. Yinger, Lisburn; 4 step grand children; 5 step great grand children; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Paul R. Albert, Sr., Wormleysburg Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service.

Rolland E. Shuey
Rolland E. Shuey, 76, formerly of Shamokin and Carlisle died Tuesday January 8, 2002 in Pottstown Hospital.
He was a retired security guard for Villa Teresa Nursing Center, Lower Paxton Twp.; a WWII Army veteran; a member of the American Legion; and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne.
He was born 10/9/1925 in Shamokin to the late William W. & Anna M (Behrent) Shuey.
He was the widower of Earline R. (Fawber) Anderson Shuey. He is survived by 2 brothers, Carl W. of Lebanon and Robert E. of Shamokin.
Graveside services will be held 1:45 pm Thursday 1/10/2002 in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

James Steven Snyder
James "Jimmie" Steven Snyder, 45, of York Haven, Newberry Twp., died Thursday, February 21, 2002 at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was the owner and operator of J & J Custom Counters, New Cumberland. He was a 1974 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. He coached and was active with Red Land Little League Baseball, Midget Football and Soccer. He had been a late model race car driver racing car no. 6T7 at Central Pennsylvania Tracks. He was a sprint car sponsor for Mark Smith, no. 22M. He enjoyed NASCAR, Motocross, Hunting, and Fishing.
He was born June 21, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette V. K. Snyder; a son, James Jimmie" Lee Snyder at home; two daughters, Lindsay Marie Snyder and Stefanie "Stevie" Nicole Snyder both at home; his parents: James L. and Bernice S. Snyder of Mechanicsburg; his maternal grandmother, Faye Sweger of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Paul B. Snyder of Camp Hill and Jay A. Snyder of Colonial Park; a sister, Darci Snyder Blanck of Manheim; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be from 6-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Attendees are invited to wear casual attire.

Msgt. Jack A. Thornton
Msgt. Jack A. Thornton, US Army Retired, 85, of Dillsburg, and formerly of Lewisberry, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a WWII and Korean Veteran. He also worked as a Floor Supervisor for TRW, Harrisburg. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Shiloh.
He was born November 23, 1916 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late George and Inez (Rayfield) Thornton.
He was the widower of Vera DiRoberto Thorton . He is survived by two daughters, Mary S. Crerand of York and Susan M. Good of Dillsburg; a brother, Carlysle "Buzz" Thorton of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Viewing will be from 10 to 10:45am Monday at the funeral home.
