G. Robert Newcomer, 77, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Sunday December 25, 2005 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Bob was the retired owner operator of Newcomer’s Amoco with locations in New Cumberland, Harrisburg and Camp Hill; was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; and was an avid Penn State football fan. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1001, Harrisburg; Lowther Manor Lodge #781, F&AM, Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg; and the Coffee Club at The Greenery, Camp Hill. Bob was born June 21, 1928 in Lancaster to the late George B. and Edna (Wittlinger) Newcomer and was the widower of Nancy L. (Simmons) Newcomer. Additionally, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Esther B. Liebert, Sara E. Newcomer, and Jane N. Smith.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Mundis of Lewisberry and Denise N. Grover and husband Robert B. of New Cumberland; a step daughter Kristin L. Drum of New Cumberland; 2 sisters, Helen N. Garman of Indian Harbour Beach, FL and Nancy N. Catlin of New Cumberland; 2 grandchildren, Mollie and Wes; and a step grandson, Jackson. He will also be missed by his dogs Nikki and Tyson and his cats Smokey and Nittany.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday December 30, 2005 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. A viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday in the funeral home.
Betty Jane "Janie" Small

Betty Jane “Janie” Small, 69, of Etters died Monday January 2, 2006 in her residence.
She was a former computer operator with Pennsylvania House Furniture, Lewisburg; a member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters; past president of the PA Chapter of the National Graniteware Society; and unofficial Team Grandmother of the New Cumberland Saints Pee Wee Football team. “Janie” was born September 27, 1936 in Watsontown, Northumberland County to the late Max and Annetta (Dreisbach) Allen and was preceded in death by a brother Robert Allen.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth F. Small; a son Jonathan W. Small and wife Sara E. of York Haven; 2 sisters, Margaret A. Frischenmeyer of Selinsgrove and Varissa Frantz of Apalachin, NY; 2 brothers, Richard E. Allen of Watsontown and William M. Allen of Goose Creek, SC; 2 grandsons, Nicholas J. Small and Ethan F. Small.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date at the convenience of the family.

Robert R. Hamilton

Robert R. Hamilton, 77, of Etters, Newberry Twp. passed away Saturday, January 07, 2006.
He was surrounded by his family during his final days. Since his retirement in 1989, he has indulged his passion for woodworking and was most proud of the hand-turned canes that he and his son crafted from exotic woods. He was also a member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters, where he particularly enjoyed Easter egg making. His other hobbies included genealogy, music, and photography. Prior to his retirement, he served as a Division Manager for the Whirlpool Corporation in the Pittsburgh area. He began his career in the appliance industry as a service repairman, owned an appliance repair service for many years and then joined the Whirlpool Corporation from where he retired after 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie M. Hamilton; a son, Robert C. of Harrisburg; two daughters, Sharon K. Waters of Harrisburg and Karen L. Derrick of Etters; their husbands, Richard Waters and Harry M. Derrick; a sister, Lois Rocco of Sterling Heights, Michigan; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Hamilton, Jessica Gasper, Samuel and Jacob Derrick, Rachel and Lauren Waters.
He was born June 28, 1928 in Brownsville, PA to the late Robert A. and Laura J. (Crawford) Hamilton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two of his sisters, Phyllis Freechack and Regina Fuller.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church in Etters. A brief visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Michael Scott Cramer

Michael Scott Cramer, 23, of Fairview Twp., Etters, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at home.
He was an employee of D and H, Harrisburg and a member of the 2001 graduating class of Red Land High School, Lewisberry. Michael was born December 22, 1982, in Harrisburg, the son of Paul E. Cramer of York Haven, and Cindy (Moyer) Cramer of Etters.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his step mother, Carol A. Cramer; a brother, Anthony P. Cramer, Enola; a sister, Jamie N. Cramer, Etters; three uncles and their wives, Russell and Nancy Moyer, Astor, FL, Lester and Barbara Moyer, Danville, Paul and Maryann Moyer, Vienna, VA; three aunts and their husbands, Carol and Ronnie Allen, Marietta, GA, Patsy and Lynn McGee, Shippensburg, and Nancy and Kevin Gross, Houston, TX; a nephew, Anthony P. Cramer, Jr.; many cousins.
Memorial services will be held 11 am Thursday in New Life Baptist Church, 530 Big Springs Road, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 2205, Harrisburg, Pa 17105.
Max E. Lilley

Max E. Lilley, 81, of Lemoyne and formerly of Duncannon, died Saturday, January 14, 2006, at home.
He was a retired freight car inspector for Conrail and the Pennsylvania Railroad; a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran; a member of Perry Lodge # 458, F. & A. M., Marysville; American Legion Post 340, Duncannon; The New Buffalo Diner Social Club. Mr. Lilley was born June 21, 1924, in Williamsport, PA, to the late John V. and Viola (Myers) Lilley.
Surviving are his wife, Betty L. (Adams) Lilley; two sons, Tom Lilley of Virginia Beach, VA and Michael Lilley of Ashburn, VA; a daughter, Judith Hair of Vallejo, CA; two sisters, Dorothy Tubbs of Carlisle and Betty Jacobs of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Wednesday in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. with the Rev. Keith Searfoss officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions to Odyssey Healthcare Hospice, 4660 East Trindle Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

Louis W. Fritz, III, 70, of New Cumberland went home to his lord Thursday January 12, 2005.
He was a retired counter salesman for Hajoca Corp. and had previously worked at the former Raub Supply Co., both of Harrisburg. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War era. The loves of his life were his Lord, his family, his dog “Happy”, baseball, and knowledge. Louis was born July 7, 1935 in Plattsburg, NY to the late Walter G. and Shirley May (Bird) Fritz. He was preceded in death by two wives, Elaine (Garverich) Fritz and Janet (Beam) Fritz.
He is survived by his wife Carole A. (Stroud) Fritz; a son Gregory Louis Fritz and wife Barbara of Laurel, MD; a daughter Ruth-Ann Elizabeth Snively and husband David W. of Etters; and 5 grandchildren, Louis Wellington Fritz, V, Stanley Peter Fritz, John M. Snively, Mark J. Snively and Crystal E. Snively.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday January 15, 2005 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.

Leroy E. Frazer

Leroy E. Frazer, 77, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Monday, January 16, 2006, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired after 42 years of service as a professional truck driver for Central Storage and Transfer, Harrisburg; a Navy WWII veteran; a member of Eberly Mills Church of God, Camp Hill; a member and past commander of Lower Allen V.F.W. Post 7530, Camp Hill; a former flagman for Silver Spring Raceway for over 25 years; a former Highland Park Teener and Legion baseball coach; an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Frazer was born July 30, 1928, in Camp Hill, the son of the late George and Sarah (Fettrow) Frazer. He was preceded in death by three sisters.
Surviving are his wife 29 years, Mary E. (Nevins) Frazer; a son, Gary L. Frazer of Camp Hill; two daughters, Barbara Jean Harlan of Harrisburg and Sharon E. Saytar of Enola; three stepsons, Robert R. Stellfox of Avis, Stephen M. Stellfox of Chapin, SC, and David B. Stellfox of London, England; three step daughters, Barbara Ann Greene of Lock Haven, Mary “Betsy” Eberly of Mechanicsburg and Karen M. Foster of Middletown; a brother, Vernon Frazer, Dillsburg; a sister, Esther Kane of New Cumberland; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be held Thursday one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
