Kenneth C. Long, 73, of Camp Hill, died Monday, January 23, 2006, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired after 35 years as a customer engineer for I.B.M., Camp Hill; a Korean War Army Veteran; life member of American Legion Post 504, Mandata; life member of National Rifle Assn.; life member of V.F.W. Post # 6704, Mechanicsburg; life member of Northumberland Fire Company No. 1; a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill; Carlisle B.P.O. Elks Lodge 578; West Shore Lodge # 681 F. and A. M., Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg; Zembo Shine Legion of Honor Unit; Zembo Shrine Usher’s Unit; Zembo Luncheon Club; Zembo Shrine Sports Car Club Unit; Cumberland County Shine Club; York County Shrine Club; Perry Juniata Shrine Club; Upper Dauphin Shrine Club; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Harrisburg Forest no. 43. Mr. Long was born August 31, 1932, in Hunter Station, Northumberland County, the son of the late John M. and Jennie (Walborn) Long. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy McIntyre.
Surviving are his wife, Leah I. (Rebuck) Long; five sisters, Elsie Yoder of Linden, Dorothy Martin of Lebanon, Linda Weidner of Middletown, Diane McIntyre of West Chester, and Karen Smith of Anchorage, AK; three nieces; six nephews; 16 great nephews; 12 great nieces; 13 great great nephews; 19 great great nieces; three great great great nieces.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday in Himmel’s Church, State Route 3010, Rebuck with The Revs. B. Penrose Hoover and Frederick H. Faust officiating. Burial will be in Himmel’s Cemetery, Rebuck. Viewing will be held 6 – 8 pm Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with Masonic services beginning at 7:30 pm and 10 – 11 am Saturday in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Shepherd’s Unit of the Zembo Shrine, 2801 North Third Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110-2083.

G. Anne Kutz
January 25, 2006
G. Anne Kutz, 96, of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.
She was a retired school teacher for the West Shore School District; a Master Gardner; a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, for over 50 years; a member of Penn Garden Club; Harrisburg Natural History Society; Appalachian Audubon Society; Harrisburg Camera Club; P.S.E.A.; a frequent speaker on ornithology and plant life in central PA.
Mrs. Kutz was born April 27, 1909, in Shelby, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Feulner) Woolston.
Surviving are her son, Richard L. Kutz of Burtonsville, MD; a daughter, Jean K. Henry of Lancaster; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, January 29, 2006, in her church with the Rev. Robert A. Graybill officiating. Burial will be in Claremont Cemetery, Middlesex Twp. Visitation will follow the services in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Third and Bridge Streets, New Cumberland, PA 17070. Arrangements are under the direction of Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

F. Lee Shipman
January 24, 2006
F. Lee Shipman, 68, of Shiremanstown passed away Tuesday, January 24 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after a long courageous battle with colon cancer. While at Dickinson College he was on the football squad for four years and served as an Asst. football coach while in law school. Lee was President of his senior class as well as Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and a member of the Raven’s Claw.
He was born in Nanticoke, PA, son of the late Frederick William and Beatrice Momley Shipman. He graduated from Dickinson College in 1959 and worked for the Atlantic Refining Co. before attending the Dickinson School of Law, graduating in 1965. He was admitted in all of Pennsylvania’s State and Federal Courts, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. As an attorney for more than 40 years he was a partner in the Harrisburg law firm of Goldberg, Katzman and Shipman, and was Of Counsel for the Lemoyne law firm of Johnson, Duffie, Stewart and Weidner. Lee was a member of the Pennsylvania and Dauphin Co. Bar Associations. He was a member of the Dauphin Co. Bar Association Board of Directors from 1975 – 1979, 1982 – 1984 and 1993 – 1995. He was the Chairman of the Association’s Compulsory Arbitration Committee from 1975 – 1988, and a member of its Court Relations Committee since 1988. He served as a member of the Statutory Law Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and as the Committee’s Chairman from 1975 – 1979. He was a former member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
Surviving are his wife, Jayne and sons Jefferson and wife Cynthia of Shiremanstown; Lee Todd and Deborah Sheaffer of Mechanicsburg; Judson and wife Melissa of Lewisberry; and five grandchildren, Marshall, Holland, Benjamin, Lydia and Samuel Shipman. He was preceded in death by a brother F. William Shipman of East Berlin, MD.
He was appointed company commander in his 1958-59 ROTC Unit at Dickinson, and became a 1st Lt. in the Transportation Corps of the Army. While at Dickinson School of Law he was a member of the Sadler Law Club, Moot Court Board, and Corpus Juris Society. He served as an adjunct Professor of Advocacy at the Dickinson School of Law from 1985 – 1996. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, William S. Snyder Lodge and Shiremanstown United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be at 10am Wednesday, February 1st followed by a memorial service at 11am at his church, 125 E. Main St., Shiremanstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Penn State University earmarked for Colon Cancer Research, University Development, Penn State Hershey Medical Center, PO BOX 852, Hershey, PA 17033: 531-8497.

Geraldine W. Stoner
January 27, 2006
Geraldine W. Stoner, of Etters, died Friday, January 27, 2006 at York Hospital.
She was retired from Strine Printing Company, York. She was born August 14, 1923 in Conewago Twp. to the late William and Susan (Spangler) Witmer.
She was the widow of Paul Stoner.
Viewing will be at 9:30am followed by funeral services at 10:30am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp.

Steffany I. C. Heller
January 29, 2006
Steffany I. C. Heller, 29, of Harrisburg, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, at home.
She was an employee for the Commonwealth of PA and Petsmart, Harrisburg; a 1994 graduate of the Harrisburg Arts Magnate School and John Harris High School; and a troop leader for Brownie Troop # 01070.
Steffany was born March 12, 1976, in Harrisburg to Sharon Lee Smith and Ronald E. Heller, both of Harrisburg. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Teagan A. Walton, Oberlin; a brother, Keath A. Heller, Halifax; maternal grandmother, Patricia L. Smith, Oberlin; paternal grandmother, Jeanette Preminger, Linglestown; two uncles and two aunts, Steven and Sally Smith, Harrisburg, James Smith, Wormleysburg, and Judy Smith, Oberlin; a niece, Brittany Heller, Halifax; three cousins, Leigh Smith, Lake Ridge, VA, Douglas Vu and Spencer Vu, both of Oberlin.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Gerald W. Rhoades officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be held 6 – 8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions to a fund set up for Teagan’s future education, care of PNC, 331 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.

Diane C. Fernbaugh
January 30, 2006
Diane C Fernbaugh, 60, of Etters, PA went to be with the Lord, on Jan.30, 2006 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Luzerne, PA on June 17, 1945 the daughter of Albert and Mary Martin, formerly of Mechanicsburg, PA and now of Delray Beach, FL.
She graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School and recently retired from DLA Systems Integration Office, DSIO at Defense Distribution Region East, in New Cumberland, PA as a Supervisor IT Specialist. In August 1979, she married Joseph G Fernbaugh, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Diane enjoyed trips to Pittsburgh, PA to see the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. She also enjoyed trips to Florida, and her interests included golf, bowling, and WWII air shows.
A loving wife, mother, daughter, step-mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Joseph; her children, Susan Ruby and husband Frank, along with their children, Ashley, Cody, and Brandi, of Millerstown, PA; her son, Jeff Garman and his wife Kathy, of Shermansdale, PA; her Step-Daughter, Angela Kofalt and her daughter, Carissa, of Etters, PA; and her Step-Son, Scott and his family, Sabrina and Marlin, of New Cumberland, PA. Also surviving are her Mother and Father, Albert and Mary, of Delray Beach, FL; her sister, Nancy Shaffer and her husband James of Pinedale, WY; Her uncle Edward Martin, of Brown Summit, NC. and her aunt Zeta Martin, of Luzerne, PA; along with 2 cousins, Janet Flock and her husband William of Swoyersville, PA and Debbie Lyons and her husband Joseph, of Luzerne, PA.
Services will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home, in New Cumberland, PA. A viewing will be Thursday, Feb. 2nd between 6:00PM and 8:00PM and Friday 10:00AM to 11:00AM with a Memorial service, at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Following the memorial service a gathering of her family and friends will be held at the Holiday Inn on Sheraton Dr. New Cumberland, PA. All friends are welcome.

Ina I. Shewell

Ina I. (Robinson) Shewell, 66, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Friday, February 03, 2006, at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was a retired computer programmer for Excel Logistics, Mechanicsburg; a member of the 1957 graduating class of Susquehanna High School, Susquehanna Twp.; a nurse’s aid for Hospice of Central PA; a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. Mrs. Shewell was born April 20, 1939, in Harrisburg, to the late Daniel and Carrie (Watts) Robinson.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene R. Shewell; two sons, Scott K. Shewell of Mechanicsburg and Steven M. Shewell of Camp Hill; four brothers, Stewart Robinson of Palmyra, Glenn Robinson of Harrisburg, Hurley Robinson of Lemoyne, and Dwight Robinson of Harrisburg; four sisters, Alice Hoffer and Helen Wynn both of Harrisburg, Hope Orris of Mechanicsburg and Shirley Herr of Lakeville, PA; two granddaughters, Megan L. Shewell and Meredith A. Shewell; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. H. Penrose Hoover officiating. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society, 3211 N. Front Street, Suite 100, Harrisburg, Pa 17110, or to American Diabetes Assn., 3544 N. Progress Avenue, Suite 202, Harrisburg, Pa 17110.
