Susanne Serbanic

Susanne Serbanic, 87, of Shermans Dale, PA, and formerly of Longview, TX, and Minneapolis, MN, died Friday, October 29, 2004, at Messiah Village, Upper Allen Township, PA.
She was born July 13, 1917, in Minneapolis, to the late Nicholas and Anna (Tetchak) Serbanic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, George, Nick, Peter, Paul, and Mike, and three sisters, Ann, Mary, and Helen. Ms Serbanic was a retired executive secretary at Marsh and McLennan Companies, Minneapolis; she was a former director of personnel for Munsingwear, Minneapolis.
Surviving are a nephew Peter B. Serbanic, Shermans Dale; a grand nephew, Nicholas Serbanic, Tampa, FL; and a grand niece, Christine Shippam, Media, PA.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Betty L. Fisher

Betty L. Fisher, 73, of York Haven, died Thursday, October, 28, 2004 at York Hospital.
She was a member of Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church where she served as the church librarian. She enjoyed reading. She was born September 4, 1931 in New Cumberland to the late Leon and Iva (Cline) Huff.
The widow of Lorain M. Fisher, she is survived by a son, Ronald E. Fisher and his wife Karen of Wellsville; two daughters, Diane E. Paul and her husband Dennis of Mechanicsburg and Susan E. Gochenaur and her husband Kevin of Strinestown; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Viewing will be held from 6-7:15pm followed by the funeral service at 7:30pm Sunday at her church. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Richard S. Walbridge

Richard S. Walbridge, 39, of New Cumberland died Monday October 25, 2004 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
He was a corporal and a fixed wing pilot with the PA State Police, Bureau of Emergency Services, Aviation Unit, New Cumberland; co-owner and officer for Auntie Anne’s Hand-Rolled Soft Pretzels franchise, Richmond, VA; a graduate of the PA State Police Academy; Lock Haven University where he was a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity; and Williamsport Area High School. He was a member of the Airborne Law Enforcement Agency; Adult Male Soccer League of Twin Ponds, Mechanicsburg; Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assn.; and the Parachuting and Skydiving Assn. Rick was born February 19, 1965 in the U.S. Military Hospital, Bitburg, Germany to James S. and Marialuise (Edelmayer) Walbridge of Williamsport, PA.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his soul mate Loren B. Garner; a sister Kiara Mary Walbridge of Long Beach, CA; 2 brothers, James S. of Mill Hall, PA and Robert S. of Williamsport; 4 nieces, Katelyn, Emily, Allison and Andrea; and his beloved pet Ryker.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday October 29, 2004 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Committal will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 pm Friday in the funeral home.

Elijah Joseph Frizzi

Elijah Joseph Frizzi, infant son of Robert A. Frizzi and Shannon M. Jenkins of Lemoyne, died Thursday, October 28, 2004, at Harrisburg Hospital.
In addition to his parents, Elijah is survived by two brothers, Jordon D. Frizzi and Auston G. Frizzi; his maternal grandparents, Gary L., Sr. and Linda C. Jenkins, Lemoyne; his maternal great grandmother, Mary Remick, Johnstown; three uncles, Gary L. Jenkins, Lemoyne, Michael D. Frizzi, Lancaster, and Dennis P. Frizzi, New Cumberland.
Services are being held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.

Virginia Herrman Fetrow

Virginia Herrman Fetrow, 73, of Hampden Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Saturday,October 30, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was a former managerial assistant for the Commonwealth of PA, Governor’s Office, Bureau of Personnel; a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, a counter at the church and also a member of the “Go Getters” over 60 group, Missions Work Area, and Downtown Daily Bread; a member of United Methodist Women executive board; 506th Collecting Company Family Unit; Walk and Talk Mall Walking Club; New Cumberland All Class Reunion Committee. Mrs. Fetrow was born December 22, 1930, in New Cumberland, to the late Sterling and Marjorie (MacIvor) Herrman. She was the widow of Melvin H. “Fuzz” Fetrow.
Surviving are a son, John R. Fetrow, Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Janice Fetrow-Stewart, Reading; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 pm Thursday in her church with the Rev. Robert A. Graybill, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be held 2 – 3 pm Thursday in the church

Sandra A. Eichelberger

Sandra A. Eichelberger, 69, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Sunday, October 31, 2004, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a former employee of Rite Aid, New Cumberland, and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg. Mrs. Eichelberger was born July 8, 1935, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Espy Glenn and Helen May (Arnold) Potts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric D. Eichelberger and a brother, Eugene G. Potts.
Surviving are a husband, Robin D. Eichelberger; a son, Brian D., Lewisberry; a brother, Jacques M. Potts, Modesto, CA.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Walter L. Hafer officiating. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be held 1- 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home.

Betty W. Corby

Betty (Wrightstone) Corby, 83, of New Cumberland died Monday November 1, 2004 in Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.
She was a member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and enjoyed painting and playing the piano and organ. Mrs. Corby was born March 16, 1921 in New Cumberland to the late Russell and Anna (Cookerly) Wrightstone.
She is survived by her husband Frederick C. Corby, Jr.; a daughter Debra A. Bilous and husband Robert of Camp Hill; a son Dennis F. Corby and wife Patricia of Fullerton, CA; and four grandchildren, Michael and Karen Corby and Jeffrey and Steven Bilous.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.
