Russell Eugene Williams, 45, of Harrisburg died Saturday, October 25, 2003, in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a Maintenance Mechanic for the former Du-Art Foods, Harrisburg was a handyman and enjoyed camping and cooking. He was born 3/30/58 in Columbia, Lancaster County to the late Everett Williams and Revenda “Wendy” Jacobs of Wormleysburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his partner George P. Swartz of Harrisburg; 2 sisters, Alma Alexander of Willow, NC and Mary Martin of Leola; 2 brothers, Cyrus Williams of Elizabethtown and John Williams of Manheim; a step sister Karen Packard of Lewistown; and several nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Thursday 10/30/03 in Metropolitan Community Church of the Spirit, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mt. Joy. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Thursday in the church.

Terry K. Hosler, 65, of Fairview Twp, Mechanicsburg died Sunday, October 26, 2003, in his residence.
He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg where he retired in 2002; a former employee of Roadway Trucking; and a sales representative for Sky Brothers, Lemoyne; a 1956 graduate of the former William Penn High School, Harrisburg; a member of the mail handlers Assn.; enjoyed hunting, fishing, and observing wildlife, particularly the deer visiting his property. He was born July 16, 1938 to the late Joseph & Virgie (Findley) Hosler.
He is survived by his wife Carol A. (Jackson) Hosler; a daughter Debra E. Chiappetta of Norristown; a step daughter Sherry K. Saddler of Avella, PA; 3 brothers, Garry L. & wife Nancy of Mechanicsburg, Curtis D., Sr. & wife Delores of Hummelstown, and Raeden S. of Harrisburg; a niece Joni Drayer of Oberlin; a nephew Greg Kelly of Harrisburg; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Thursday 10/30/03 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services Thursday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Capital Region Unit, 1500 N. 2nd St. Harrisburg, PA 17102-2527.
Charles Adam Matusheski

Charles Adam Matusheski, age 85, a dedicated father and provider for his family, formerly of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Monday October 27, 2003 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.
He was a retired Corrections Officer for the State Correctional Institute at Camp Hill (the former White Hill) and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and woodworking. In addition to his service in corrections, Mr. Matusheski was also a coal miner in Northern PA, worked in construction and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. He was born 4/2/18 in Benton, PA to the late Adam and Anna (Narewski) Matusheski
He was the widower of Mary A. (Verbinski) Matusheski and is survived by 2 sons, Vincent C. of New Cumberland and Stephen G. of Camp Hill; 3 daughters, Pauline T. Moulder of Pensacola, FL, Ann M. Pease of Harrisburg and Rose Mary Ellsperman of Camp Hill; 2 sisters, Laura Bulzak of Cherry Hill, NJ and Helen Micca of Shickshinny; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Thursday 10/30/03 in his church with the Rev. Msgr. William M. Richardson as celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp. Viewing will be 9-10 am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland

Patricia “Patsy” A. Morter, 71, of Lewisberry, died Thursday, October 30th at Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born July 1, 1932 in Middletown, OH to the late Douglas and Verna (Lyons) Brown. She was a member of Lewisberry Brethren In Christ Church and loved children and animals.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck D. Morter, and three sisters, Betty Stephenson of Columbus, OH, Nancy Bramine of Fairborn, OH, and Kay Tomys of Hawthorne, NJ.
Memorial Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 15th at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Interment will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Robert Jacob Horst

Robert Jacob Horst, 75, of Mechanicsburg, PA and Jekyll Island, GA died Sunday at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
He was a retired Vice President and Chief Actuary from Pennsylvania Blue Shield. He was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School and Muhlenberg College in Allentown, and Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg where he received his Master of Divinity. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry and an Associate Member of Jekyll Island United Methodist Church, GA. At Mt. Zion he served on the church council and as treasurer and he served as a Sunday school teacher at both churches. He was a member of American Academy of Actuaries, Harrisburg Toastmasters and had served on the board of West Shore School District. He was an avid tennis player and participated in Keystone Senior Olympics. He was born November 8th, 1927 in Reading to the late Jacob Mays and Grace Violet (Keifer) Horst.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn J. Wieand Horst; four sons, Byron W. of Bradenton, FL, Ethan C. of Etters, Lynn Robert of Carlisle, and Eric A., M.D. of Columbia, SC; twelve grandchildren, Michelle, Alicia, Jeremy, Tyler, Jamie, Sara, Cori Gardner and Colin Gardner, Amos,Joshua, Ben, and Bill
Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry with his Pastors, The Reverends Timothy L. Hoffman and Roger Mays officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery at Mt. Zion Church. Visitations will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland and from 10am until time of service Wednesday at the church.

Hazel E. (Vogelsong) Shuler, 89, of New Cumberland died Friday May 5, 2006 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was retired from the PA Department of Transportation, Harrisburg and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, New Cumberland Women’s Club, New Cumberland Golden Age where she was trip coordinator for many years, West Shore Senior Center and the New Cumberland Olde Towne Assn.
Mrs. Shuler was born June 3, 1916 in New Cumberland to the late David and Mary (Oren) Vogelsong. She was the widow of Ralph E. Shuler, Sr. and is survived by a son Ralph E. Jr. and wife Joyce of Camp Hill; 3 daughters, Barbara A. Karper and husband Alden of Boiling Springs, Linda K. Miller of New Cumberland and Carolyn G. Tilder and husband Bert of New Cumberland; 2 daughters in law, Doreen Shuler of New Cumberland and Judith Cardene of Mechanicsburg; a sister Helen Hinson of New Cumberland; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 2 step great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas D. Shuler, Sr. and David L. Shuler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday May 10, 2006 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson, her pastor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewings will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening and again one half hour prior to services on Wednesday, both in the funeral home.

Helen F. Heiser

Helen F. Heiser, 80, formerly of New Cumberland went to be with her Lord Friday May 5, 2006 in Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
She retired from Wert Bookbinding Co., Grantville and prior to that worked at Food Fair, Camp Hill. She was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 143, both in New Cumberland. Mrs. Heiser was born November 22, 1925 in New Cumberland to the late Charles A. and Esther (Getz) Hamsher.
She is survived by a son James C. Heiser, Jr. of Evesham, NJ; 2 daughters, Jane M. Hudgins of Sacramento, CA and Sherry Massie-Dean of Lemoyne; a sister Evelyn M. Leiter of Duncannon; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 9, 2006 at 2 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson, her pastor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be from 1 pm until time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.
