Evelyn B. Zimmerman, 80, of Ulrich Street, Royalton, died Wednesday, March 10 at home.
Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lydia Kreider Snyder.
She was retired as an inspector from the former Miller & Hess Shoe Co., Middletown; was a former member of the Rescue Hose Company Auxiliary; and enjoyed reading and shopping.
She was the widow of Samuel W. Zimmerman Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn, wife of Willis Shrauder of Middletown and Susan, wife of Fred Reigle of Royalton; five sons, William C., husband of Doris and Samuel W., husband of Patsy, both of Middletown, Robert, husband of Pat of Virginia Beach, VA, Jack L., husband of Joan of Royalton and Larry, husband of Debbie of Hummelstown; four sisters, Kathryn Herneisey, Peg, wife of Joseph Hahn, and Betty, wife of Donald Nagle, all of Middletown, and Stella Cleland of Royalton; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday in Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with the Pastor Jonathan Tillman officiating. Burial was in Middletown Cemetery.

Raymond Libhart
Raymond E. Libhart, 71, of North Hanover Street, Elizabethtown, died Saturday, March 13 in Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster.
He was retired as West Donegal Township chief of police and also worked for Elizabethtown police, worked as a constable and as a plumber at Olmsted Air Force Base.
He was a member of Friendship Fire & Hose Company, Elizabethtown Fire Police, Fraternal Order of Police, Red Rose Lodge 16, Treichler Lodge 682 F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory and Scottish Rite, Valley of Lancaster.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. Hipple Libhart; a son, Dennis E. of Millsboro, DE; a daughter, Deborah S. Sucec of Harrisburg; two brothers, James of Elizabethtown and Robert of Holiday, FL; a sister, Susan Boden of Indiana; three grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Frank Miller Funeral Home, Elizabethtown. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Stewart Deimler
Stewart L. Deimler, 88, of ManorCare Health Services, 800 King Russ Road, Harrisburg, and formerly of River Road, Middletown, died Saturday, March 13 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was an instrument repair man for the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Lower Swatara Township, and retired from the Department of Defense in Washington, DC.
He was a former member of Rescue Hose Co., American Legion Post #594 and VFW #1620, all of Middletown.
He was the widower of Elva B. Deimler.
He is survived by two sons, Michael G. Deimler and James R. Deimler, both of Newport, PA; one brother, George Deimler of Hummelstown; three sisters, Eleanor Risser of Palmyra, Margaret Gochnaur of Middletown and Mildred Lichtenfels of York Springs; four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial was in the Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Twp.
Margaret Shope
Margaret Demey Shope, 80, of Lower Swatara Township, passed away Friday, March 12, in the Frey Village Retirement Center, Middletown.
Born in Lower Swatara Township, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie Bomgardner Demey.
She retired as the manager of the cafeteria of the John C. Kunkel Elementary School of the Middletown Area School District; and had worked as a clerk for Strite's Orchards, Lower Swatara Township. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hummelstown, and its Augsburg Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Shope Sr., on July 8, 1994.
She is survived by one son, Ralph E. Shope Jr. of Wappingers Falls, NY; one brother, Samuel W. Demey Sr. of Middletown; three sisters, Alice Demey and Alberta Demey, both of Lower Swatara Township, and Kathryn Seiders of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Ronald G. VanBlargan and The Rev. Elaine M. Dent, her pastors, officiating. Interment was in the Hummelstown Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.

Charles Etter
Charles W. Etter, 79, of Vine Street, Middletown, died Monday, March 15 at home.
He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Middletown; retired as a U. S. mailman for the Middletown Post Office in 1981; was an Army veteran of World War II where he fought in North Africa, Sicily and Italy; was a member of American Legion Post #594, Middletown; and was an outstanding baseball and basketball player at Middletown High School during the late 1930s.
He was the widower of Phoebe Geyer Etter.
He is survived by one daughter, Janis Ann Wolff of Annandale, VA; three sons, Charles (Chip) R. Etter and Paul M., both of Elizabethtown and Stephen J. of Enola; two sisters, June Noel of Middletown and Naomi Vint of Hershey; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
