Marian E. Giberson Salamon, 81, of West Emaus Street, Middletown, died Sunday, April 25 in HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center of Mechanicsburg.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Middletown.
She was the widow of Philip H. Salamon.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Sue Salamon with whom she lived and Marian Phyllis Salamon of Collingdale; a brother, Ruben D. Myers of Hummelstown; and a grandson, Micah Salamon.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown with Kari Myers, minister of visitation at Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Alma Seiders
Alma E. Seiders of South Second Street, Steelton, died Sunday, April 25.
She was a retired dental assistant; a graduate of Steelton High School and the Practical Bible Training School; and a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church and the Garden Club and Historical Society, both of Highspire.
She is survived by a brother, Frank S. Jr. of Etters; a sister, Martha J. Wigand of Steelton; two nieces; one nephew; and one great-nephew.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Knight Funeral Home, Highspire. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Harold Bell
Harold J. Bell, 49, of New Germantown, died there Friday, May 28 as the result of an accident while working on a car.
He was a Pennsylvania State Forest volunteer and a social member of Highspire VFW Post 8638.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Lynn Boneno of Louisiana; a son, Carl Edward S. Dendy of Middleburg, FL; five sisters, Jane Gipe of Hummelstown, Shirley Kinsey and Carol Messner, both of Honey Brook, Marlene Mackavage of Middletown and Diane Marano of Delaware; and three brothers, Stanley of Hummelstown, Edward Jr. of Coatesville and Robert of Highspire.
Graveside memorial services were held Thursday in Highspire Cemetery.

Betty Pressley
Betty J. Pressley, 72, of Middletown, formerly of Lawton, died Thursday, June 3 at home.
Raymond Straining
Raymond I. Straining, 75, of Hummelstown, died Wednesday, June 2 at home.
He retired from Central Lincoln-Mercury; was a Navy veteran of World War II; a life member of Penbrook VFW Post 1718 and Hummelstown American Legion Post 265; and a member of Middletown Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia K. Sokalska Straining; a brother, William of Oberlin; and two half-brothers, Victor and Morris Cassel, both of Harrisburg.
Graveside services were held in Highspire Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Bernard Danilowicz Sr.
Bernard Danilowicz Sr., 74, of Shirley Drive, Lower Swatara Twp., died Sunday, June 6 at home.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary V. Forti Danilowicz; two sons, Vincent J. and Bernard J. Jr. and a daughter, Kathleen M. Pacella, all of Middletown; three sisters, Catherine Errico of Brooklyn, NY, Anna Primavera of Middletown and Mary Iero of Hazleton; and eight grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at his church. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown.
Melvin Barnes Sr.
Melvin "Steve" Barnes Sr., of Market Street, Middletown, died Saturday, June 5 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Mary McCoy Barnes.
He was retired as a supply technician at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was the husband of Sara (Beserra) Barnes with whom he celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary June 5.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Melvin Jr. and Terry M., both of Middletown; one grandson, Maurice T. Barnes of Middletown; several nieces and nephews in Dayton, OH; a niece, Mary Mukes of Los Angeles, CA; and best friend, Margaret Reed of Dayton, OH.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with Evangelist Carolyn J. Whittle officiating. Burial with military honors was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
