Joseph M. O'Neill
Lykens - Joseph M. "Joey" O'Neill, infant son of Wayne and Jackie Wingert O'Neill and brother of Logan O'Neill, 524 Main St., died Thursday, Feb. 27 at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph F. Wingert and his uncle, Steven M. O'Neill.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and brother, are maternal grandparents, Eugene and Dorothy Bohner of Lakeland, Fla.; paternal grandparents, James and Grace O.Neill of Lykens; maternal great-grandmother; Betty Deiter of Millersburg; and paternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Orpha Weist of Lykens.
Graveside services were held at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.
John R. Shultz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Charlie Hoover
Charlie H. Hoover, 77, of the Blue Ridge Haven Convalescent Center East, Susquehanna Twp., formerly of Highspire, died Tuesday, February 23 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a former state employee; an Army veteran of World War II; a graduate of the former Highspire High School and a member of its Alumni Association; a member and former chaplain of Highspire VFW Post 8638; and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Highspire, American Legion Post 158, the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association, the Highspire Senior Citizens and Chapter 1, Disabled American Veterans; and a life member of Citizens Fire Company, Highspire.
He is survived by a brother, Raymond H. of Steelton.
Services were held Saturday in Knight Funeral Home, Highspire.

Mildred Deckert
Mildred E. Deckert, 84, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Middletown, PA, died Sunday, February 14, 1999.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Deckert, former POW of World War II.
She is survived by two sons, B. J. Smertneck of Middletown and Jim L. Smertneck of San Antonio, TX; a daughter, Mrs. Gail L. Motyka of Manasquan, NJ; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rosary was recited Wednesday in Porter-Loring Chapel. A service was held Thursday in Porter-Loring Chapel. Interment was in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
Arrangements were handled by Porter-Loring.
Ruth Kline
Ruth Hartman Kline, 93, of ManorCare Health Services, Lower Paxton Twp., formerly of Hummelstown, died Friday, February 26 in ManorCare.
Anna Trego
Anna F. Trego, 92, formerly of Sunbury, died Saturday, February 27 at Nottingham Village, Northumberland, where she resided for 20 years.
She was born September 14, 1906 in Rockefellow Township, a daughter of Lewis Edward and Agusta Schreffler.
She was marriage to Charles F. Trego who died in 1969.
Early in her life, she was employed by Susquehanna Mills, Sunbury. Mrs. Trego was a member of Albright United Methodist Church, Sunbury.
She is survived by two sons, the Rev. Robert C. Trego of Middletown and Marlin J. Trego of Northumberland; a daughter, Ruth Michaels of Sunbury; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She is the last of her immediate family.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at United Lutheran Church Cemetery (Wolf’s Crossroads), Sunbury RD with the Rev. Donald R. Slaybaugh, her pastor, officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Joseph Bauder
Joseph A. Bauder, 85, of Snavely Road, Elizabethtown, died Saturday, February 27 at home.
He had been a foreman for the former Berg Electronics and was a retired farmer; and a member of Geyers United Methodist Church, Londonderry Twp.
He is survived by his wife, Doretta D. Bauder; three sons, Fred C. Bauder of Akron and Carl C. Bauder and Harry D. Bauder, both of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in his church with the Rev. Thomas H. Sanagorski officiating. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Twp.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday in the church.

Anna Lawrence
Anna A. Lawrence, 87, of Dogwood Building, Village of Pineford, Middletown, died Tuesday, February 23 in Hershey Medical Center.
She was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown.
She was the widow of Winfield E. Lawrence.
She is survived by two sons, Wilbert E. Lawrence of Middletown and Justin T. Lawrence of Steelton; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday in the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown, with the Rev. John Trigilio officiating. Burial was in Middletown Cemetery.
