Albert F. May Jr., 78, retired U. S. Air Force Master Sergeant of Coral Blvd., Bradenton, FL, formerly of Middletown, died at home.
He was the son of Marie H. Siar May of Middletown and the late Albert F. May Sr.
He was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel O. May; a son, William R. May of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Susan Hories of Philadelphia and Alida Phillips of New Tripoli, PA; three brothers, George F. May of Ft. Myers, FL, Richard D. May of Buzzards Bay, MA and Charles E. May of Middletown; four sisters, Virginia Dubois of Poway, CA, Sally Hudson of Pittsburgh, Doris Gilbert of York and Charlotte Kinsey of MD; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with The Rev. Thomas H. Sanagorski officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown.
Samuel Dugan
Samuel W. Dugan, 85, of Montoursville, PA and formerly of Middletown, died Friday, May 7 at his home in Montoursville.
Born April 10, 1914 in Highspire, he was a son of Samuel L. Dugan and Eulie Wensell Dugan.
He was a 1934 graduate of the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trade, Media, PA; was retired in 1967 as plant electrician for the former Olmsted Air Force Base and also with Penn State Harrisburg; was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran; a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Middletown; member of the Prince Edwin Lodge #486, F&AM, Williamsport Consistory, Imperial Teteque Band and the American Federation of Musicians; and a former member of the Liberty Band of Middletown, the Bainbridge Band and the Little German Band, Williamsport.
On April 3, 1936 in Altoona, PA, he marriage the former Marjorie Elisabeth Barry who survives in Montoursville along with a son, Jeffrey W. Dugan and his wife Judith (Williams) Dugan of Montoursville. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Sheri Anderson and Jason Dugan, both of Montoursville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Barry Michael in 1947 and a sister, Eloise Nelson.
Graveside services were held at Middletown Cemetery on Tuesday with The Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Middletown, officiating. Interment followed in Middletown Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, PA 17701.
Anna Mallick
Anna J. "Dolly" Mallick, 69, of East Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, died Monday, May 10 at her home.
She was a member of Christ The Saviour Orthodox Church and its St. Mary's Altar Guild, Lower Paxton Twp.
She is survived by her husband, Adam Mallick; and a son, Michael C. Mallick of Middletown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in her church, with The Rev. Daniel D. Ressetar as celebrant. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. with Parastas at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown, and from 10 a.m. to time of services Friday in her church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the parish development program of her church, 5501 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
Rosie Reed
Rosie M. Reed, 93, formerly of Chambers Hill, died Monday, May 3, in Laurels Nursing Home, Hendersonville, NC.
She was the widow of Fred M. Reed Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Sisti of Hendersonville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Highspire Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Milton Gatchel
Milton P. Gatchel, 89, of Frey Village Retirement Center, Middletown, died Tuesday, May 11 in Frey Village.
Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Alfred and Sarah (Fratz) Gatchel.
He was a federal civil servant in production control at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Lower Swatara Twp.
He was a graduate of the former Middletown High School and attended Elizabethtown College for two years; was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Middletown; and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Edythe E. (Creep) Gatchel; and one daughter, Linda Gatchel of Shippensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Middletown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday in the church.
