Albert J. Manik, 80, of Hoffer Street, Middletown, died Tuesday, April 25 in Hershey Medical Center.
He retired as a production controller from the former New Cumberland Army Depot; was an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown.
He is survived by his wife, Helen G. Klimchak Manik; a son, Robert A. Manik of Middletown; two daughters, Bonnie Pacifico of Bel Air, MD and Catherine Benson of Middletown; two brothers, Paul of Oak Park, MI and George of Bayville, NJ; a sister, Mary Donovorich of Kearny, NJ; and two grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday in his church with Rev. Louis P. Ogden as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middletown.
Arrangements were handled by the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.

Edith Roush
Edith M. Roush, 70, of Old Hershey Road, Elizabethtown, died Sunday, April 23 in Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Derry Twp., Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Beulah (Weaver) Reigle.
She was a member of Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church and worked for the former Lancaster and Kreider Shoe factories, both in Elizabethtown.
She is survived by her husband, Roy, with whom she celebrated their 50th anniversary in February 2000; five sisters, Miriam Gilbert, Mildred Hess, Lorraine Minnich and Joanne Rose, all of Middletown and Ruth Howell of Duncannon; and two brothers, Paul Reigle of Hershey and Robert Reigle of Rheems.
Services were held Thursday in her church. Burial was in Conewago Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Frank S. Miller Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown.
Bertha Auker
Bertha J. Auker, 84, formerly of Latsha Towers, Mohn Street, Steelton and formerly of Akron, died Thursday, April 27 in Susquehanna Center.
She was born November 19, 1915 in Rheemstown to the late Aaron and Lizzie Gehman Auker.
She was retired from Akron Shoe Factory and a member of Ephrata Mennonite Church and attended Steelton Mennonite Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Shope's Mennonite Cemetery, Lower Swatara Township, with Rev. John Nissley and Rev. Victor Romain officiating.
There will be no visitation or viewing.
The Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, is handling arrangements.
Kathryn Hines
Kathryn M. Menear Hines, 99, of North Second Street, Steelton, formerly of Royalton, died Sunday, April 30 at home.
She was a retired clerk at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Lower Swatara Twp.; a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Steelton and American Legion Post 594 of Middletown.
She is survived by two sons, Donald E. Menear of Elizabethtown and Elwood J. Menear of Naples, FL; a daughter, Frances E. Roksandic with whom she lived; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Middletown Cemetery with Rev. Harold Fox officiating.
There will be no visitation.

Francis Dusch
Francis P. Dusch, 78, of Nissley Drive, Middletown, died Monday, May 1 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Charles and Anna M. Canavan Dusch.
He was a retired employee of the former Mechanicsburg Naval Depot; an Army veteran of World War II; member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and American Legion #594, both in Middletown, Elks Lodge 384 of Ashland, V.F.W. Post 8638 of Highspire and Academy of Model Aeronautics Association.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Kembel Dusch; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church with Rev. John Trigilio Jr. as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
Viewing will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.
Dean Haman
Dean W. Haman, 47, of Providence Circle, Middletown, died Sunday, April 23 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was a fireman for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Haman; five daughters, Kirsten, Aubree and Abigail, all at home, Melanie of Mountville and Christie of Lancaster; two brothers, Charles of Johnstown and Edward of Michigan; and two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Erie and Louis Diehl of Hollidaysburg.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, April 27 in his church with Kari Myers officiating.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Lower Paxton Twp., handled arrangements.

Samuel Jules
Samuel E. Jules, 68, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Lower Swatara Twp., died Monday, November 30 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was a retired Navy Master Chief; member and past president of Navy League of Harrisburg; member of American Legion Post 594 and Anglers and Hunters Association and a former member of Elks Dauphin Lodge 359, all of Middletown; and a member of Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Louise V. Thomas Jules; two sons, Virgil E. of Ft. Worth, TX and Kyle L. of York; three sisters, Shirley O. Pringle of Middletown, Mildred D. Teague of Newton, NJ and Viola M. Coleman of New Orleans, LA; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown with Rev. Wayne J. Eberly officiating. Burial with military honors was held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Clarence Bauder
Clarence Wilson Bauder, 69, of North Union Street, Middletown, formerly of Lauredale, died Wednesday, December 1 in Hershey Medical Center.
A retired Master Sergeant, he was to be commended this month for 50 continuous years of service in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, where he worked as an airborne electronics communication systems technician; AAFES manager and Consolidated Club manager. A Vietnam War veteran, he participated in numerous military deployments with the 193rd PAANG, Middletown.
He had worked for the former C. Curtis Hughes Florist; was a licensed pilot; was a member of Steelton VFW Post 710, Campbelltown American Legion Post 831, Middletown Anglers and Hunters Association, the Olmsted Air National Guard Consolidated Club and the 148th Fighters Squadron Association.
He is survived by a son, Raymond W. of Penn Hills; a daughter, Bonnie L. Scott of Kent, WA; a brother, Raymond E. of Leesport, NY; a sister, Katherine E. Fink of Utica, NY; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday in the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial, with military honors, was held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
