Mary E. (Mixell) Rhen, 82, of Mill Street, Middletown, died Thursday, November 25 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.
Born in Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Nellie Mixell.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God, Middletown.
She is survived by a brother, Frederick Mixell, Camp Hill; and a niece, Laura Jenkinson, Elizabethtown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with Rev. William H. Reist officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to First Church of God, 245 W. Main Street, Middletown, PA 17057.

Ila Stare
Ila M. (Arthur) Stare, 78, of the Middletown Home, Lower Swatara Twp., formerly of Londonderry Twp., died Sunday, November 28 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Born in Enhaut, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Coats) Arthur.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Twp., with Kari Myers, minister of visitation for Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Viewing will be private.
Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown, is handling arrangements.

Paul Rovak
Paul Joseph "Paulie" Rovak Sr., 78, of Monroe Street, Bressler, died Saturday, November 27 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.
Born in Bressler, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen (Pilsage) Rovak.
He was the owner of the former P. J. Rovak Garage and Inspection Station, Bressler; was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed antique Indian motorcycles and antique cars.
He was the husband of Dorothy (Miller) Rovak and the late Mary Louise Titus Rovak.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Sandra Jean Wolfe and Paula Josephine Duncan, both of Royalton and Linda Ann Garlock of Middletown; two sons, Joel C. Lex and John W. Lex, both of Hummelstown; three stepsons; a sister, Ann Ward of Chambers Hill; a brother, Michael Rovak of Middletown; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Paul Joseph Rovak Jr. and Carl A. Lex.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with Pastor Norman C. Marks officiating. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Joyce Lampasona-Ringer
Joyce Lampasona-Ringer, 45, of Brookside Drive, Lower Swatara Twp., died Sunday, November 28 in Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp., as a result of a traffic accident which occurred last September.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Accurzia (Corrao) Lampasona and the late Joseph Lampasona.
She was employed by Rockwood Printing, Centerville, Lancaster Co. and was a paralegal/secretary in the Boston area; and was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Ringer; two sons, Michael and David Sugrue, both at home; and her mother.
A Wake Service will be held at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown, with Rev. John Trigilio Jr., Ph.D., officiating. Burial will be private.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Earl Burris
Earl E. Burris, 75, of Columbia Street, Middletown, died Saturday, November 25 at Frey Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middletown.
He was a retired business manager at Harrisburg Country Club; a graduate of William Penn High School, Class of 1942, Harrisburg; an Army veteran of World War II; a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and American Legion Post 594, both of Middletown, and the Termite Club of Harrisburg.
He is survived by a niece, Patricia Eby of Camp Hill; two nephews, Chris Burne of South Carolina and Frank Burris of Elizabethtown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 280 N. Race Street, Middletown, PA 17057 or to Hospice of Central PA, Box 266, Enola, PA 17025.

Steven Bogdanovic
Steven M. Bogdanovic, 47, of Sunnyvale, CA, formerly of Highspire, died Sunday, November 28 at a brother's home in Lewisberry.
He was a senior design engineer for the Missile and Space Division of Lockheed/Martin Corp., Sunnyvale; a former design engineer for AC/Delco Corp. in Michigan; a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, Michigan State University and Stanford University; and a member of the Automotive Engineering Society and Highspire United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two brothers, David M. of Lewisberry and Miles J. of Highspire; and two sisters, Evelyn J. Bogdanovic of Highspire and Joan E. Fischback of Carlisle, PA.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Knight Funeral Home, Highspire. Burial will be in Highspire Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, PO Box 266, Enola, PA 17025 or his church, 170 Second Street, Highspire, PA 17034.

Kenneth Lauck
Kenneth L. Lauck, 35, of Market Street Extended, Middletown, died Tuesday, April 18 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was a former employee of Davis Bottling Co.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth L. Wisman, at home; his mother, Donna M. Yeager, with whom he lived; and a brother, Charles R. of Marysville.
Services were held Saturday in the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown with Rev. Robert H. Kauffman officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp.

Ruth Weaver
Ruth Menear Weaver, 96, of the Middletown Home, Lower Swatara Township, died there Thursday, April 20.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Menear.
She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown.
She was the widow of Harold Weaver.
She is survived by a daughter, J. Doris Willenbecker of Middletown; a sister, Hilda Martin of Flagstaff, AZ; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday in Middletown Cemetery with Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating.
Arrangments were handled by the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.
