Grace E. Barnhart, 81, of Frey Village Nursing Center, Middletown, formerly of Royalton, died Monday, August 14, at the center.
She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown.
She was the widow of Elmer E. Barnhart. She is survived by a son, Richard E. of Mullica Hills, NJ; a daughter, Barbara A. Dagenhart of Middletown; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Frank E. Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.
Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 1 p.m. to time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Barney Blackburn Jr.
Barney Blackburn Jr., 53, of Waycross, GA, formerly of Middletown, died Thursday, August 10, in Waycross.
He was a retired crane operator for the Bethlehem Steel Plant, Steelton.
He is survived by his wife, Diane M. Dupler Blackburn of Middletown; two daughters, Lisa Ann Kern of West Fairview and Jamie Lynn Schaffer of Elizabethtown; a sister, Debra Woods of Camp Hill; four grandchildren.
Private services will be held Friday at Frank E. Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.
There will be no visitation.
Ama Swezey
Ama B. Swezey, 84, of South 4th Street, Steelton, and formerly of Patchogue, NY, died Monday, February 28 in Dauphin Manor.
She was a homemaker and the widow of Arthur V. Swezey Sr.
She is survived by a son, Arthur V. Swezey Jr., with whom she lived; a daughter, Ama B. Roser of Rome, NY; a sister, Jean Morton of Patchogue, NY; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Sunday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Highspire, with Rev. Dr. Barry F. Folmar officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were handled by the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown.

James Boyer Sr.
James R. Boyer Sr., 61, of Aspen Street, Middletown, died Thursday, March 2 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was an electrician for Norfolk Southern Railroad in Enola; an Army and Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War; an avid golfer and Philadelphia Flyers hockey fan; and a member of American Legion Post 594 of Middletown and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Condran Boyer; a son, James R. Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Linda M. Barrett and Heather M. Boyer, both of Middletown; two brothers, Beryle Scofield of New Cumberland and Kenneth Boyer of Harrisburg; three sisters, Jean Leonard of New Cumberland and Donna Tyson and Patricia Moyer, both of Harrisburg; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Tuesday in the Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Middletown with Rev. John Trigilio Jr. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Frances Gofhus
Frances C. Ofak Gofhus, 82, of the Frey Village Retirement Center, formerly of Deatrich Avenue, both in Middletown, died Friday, March 3 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Jambrosic Ofak.
She was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Middletown.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Gofhus; two daughters, Patricia Parks of Alexandria, VA and Sandy Gofhus of New Cumberland; and two grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in her church with Father Louis P. Ogden as celebrant. Burial was in Middletown Cemetery.
Viewing was held Monday in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.

Ruth Myers
Ruth I. Myers, 89, of Ulrich Street, Royalton, died Sunday, March 5 in Frey Village, Middletown.
Born in Londonderry Twp., she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Zimmerman) Felker.
She retired as a seamstress from the former Hesteco Dress Factory, Hummelstown; was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, its choir and United Methodist Women; and a graduate of the former Middletown High School.
She was the widow of Harold W. Myers.
She is survived by two sons, Harold E. of Royalton and John S. of Harrisburg; a daughter, Marlene Flood of Royalton; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown, with Thomas Gahring and Rev. David W. Trostle officiating. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Twp.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

William B. Myers, 90, of Frey Village, Middletown, formerly of Lancaster County, New Cumberland and Clearwater, FL, died Tuesday, January 12 in the village.

Helen Wolf
Helen M. Wolf, 86, of ManorCare Health Services, York, formerly of Middletown, died Wednesday, January 13 in ManorCare.
Born in Lower Chanceford Township, she was the daughter of the late Michael B. and Mabel P. Howard Zimmerman.
She was a graduate of Red Lion High School.
She retired as manager from the former Silco store in Middletown and was a member of Middletown Chapter 332 Order of Eastern Star.
She was the widow of George S. Wolf.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday in Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with the Rev. Pamela Ford officiating. Burial was in Middletown Cemetery.
Paul Drebot Sr.
Paul M. Drebot Sr., 72, of Lower Swatara Twp., died Thursday, January 14 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was retired from the former New Cumberland Army Depot and Harrisburg International Airport; and was a member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, Lower Paxton Twp., the Greater Harrisburg Association of the Deaf, Lower Swatara Fire Company and "O" Club Chapter 199, Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Ruhl Drebot; three sons, Paul M. Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, Terry L. of Dover and Thomas A. of Middletown; a sister, Sophie Mehalko of Harrisburg; a brother, John C. of Tacoma, WA; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Monday in his church. Burial was in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
