Marlin E. “Butch” Fink, Jr., 53, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2002, in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Township.
Born in Roundtop, Londonderry Township, on August 12, 1949, he was the son of the late Marlin E. Sr. and Mildred E. Bruce Fink. He was a truck driver for Hess Trucking Company. He was a director of the Salt Run Hunting Camp, Northern Lycoming Township; and a member of the Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers Association, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 410, Middletown, and the Teamsters Local Union 776. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Debra K. Reeder Fink; two daughters, Shelley Anne Fink and Alana Mae Fink both of Harrisburg; 8 sisters, Mildred M. wife of Ray Alleman and Bessie wife of Anthony Vasquez both of Elizabethtown, Betty L. wife of Robert Davenport of Talmage, Marlene A. Confair of Annville RD, Catherine R. Zimmerman of Urbana, Missouri, Kay Anne Fink and Roxanne M. Fink both of Hummelstown, and Dawn K. Fink of Middletown; 5 brothers, William M. Fink and his wife Connie Hoffman Fink of Hummelstown, Henry L. Fink and his wife Beverly Witmer Fink of Palmyra, David L. Fink and his wife Dorothy Rutledge Fink of Middletown, Daniel L. Fink and his wife Kerry Ebright Fink of Grantville, and Thomas R. Fink of Elizabethtown; his father-in-law, John W. Reeder of Linglestown; and his brother-in-law, Brad A. Reeder and his wife Bonnie Feschuk Reeder of Duncannon; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18 at 1:00 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. William M. Haken, Sr., pastor of the Capital Baptist Church, Harrisburg, officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. Viewing will be Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the funeral home.

MARGARET K. C. ZEIDERS BALDWIN
Margaret K. C. Zeiders Baldwin, 85, of Hershey, passed away Monday, December 2, 2002, at her residence.
Born in Harrisburg on May 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Almeda Comp Zeiders. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood F. Baldwin, on May 18, 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Larry J. Baldwin of Hershey and Hugh D. Baldwin of Palmyra; two daughters, Judy A. Oakley of Hershey and Audrey L. Baldwin of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Donald Oakley of Hershey, Robert Oakley, Jr. of Lebanon, Joshua Baldwin, Jessica Baldwin, and Vanessa Baldwin all of Harrisburg, and Jonathan Baldwin of Palmyra; and one great granddaughter, Kami Jo Green of Hershey.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Lee Umbenhauer, on January 30, 2002.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2002, at 1:00 PM in Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township. There will be no viewing or visitation.

ARTHUR R. LUTZ
Arthur R. Lutz, 79, of Middletown, passed away Friday, November 29, 2002, in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Township.
Born in Steubenville, Ohio, on October 18, 1923, he was the son of the late Russell C. and Margaret C. Brown Lutz. He was the owner/operator of Art Lutz Builders and of Creative Domes, and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown. He was the former Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Middletown. He was Past Lieutenant Governor of District 16 of the Pennsylvania District of Kiwanis, was also instrumental in forming the Elizabethtown and Hershey Kiwanis Clubs, and was a member of the Middletown Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce; Harrisburg Builders Association; Dauphin County Farmers Association; and Hershey Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America. He enjoyed hunting and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arvilla Carlin Lutz, in April of 1968.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret E. Brown Lutz; two daughters, Ella A. wife of Charles M. Dowell and Peggy E. Lutz both of Middletown; and three grandchildren, Amanda R. Dowell, Cathleen M. Dowell, and Dayne R. Lutz all of Middletown.
Funeral services be held Tuesday, December 3 at 2 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Middletown Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from noon to 2 PM in the funeral home.

THELMA L. PAUL KERSTETTER
Thelma L. Paul Kerstetter, 76, of Hummelstown, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2002, in the Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Born in Natalie on February 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Duboe Paul. She retired from the H.B. Reese Candy Company, Hershey. She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel Township High School. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Hummelstown; and a life member of Sergeant Chauncey F. Yingst Veterans of Foreign Wars Unit 1687, Hummelstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Kerstetter, on June 21, 1994.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia M. Thompson of Hummelstown, and Sandra L. Sprandel of Harrisburg; five sisters, Alice Reilly of Feasterville, Margaret Vaivada and Ruth Hummel both of Spotswood, New Jersey, Arlene Jean Nodzak of Reading, and Loretta Mutchko of Rockaway, New Jersey; one brother, Robert Paul of Hatboro; five grandchildren, Douglas Pintarch of Penbrook, Brian A. Pintarch of Middletown, Dean M. Pintarch, George M. Pintarch, and Julie M. wife of Lynn Berkheimer all of Hummelstown; and four great grandchildren, Holland Pintarch and Chelsea Spear both of Penbrook, and Raige Pintarch and Chloe Pintarch both of Palmyra.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott A. Pintarch, on November 22, 1987.
Funeral service be held Monday, December 2 at 1:00 P.M. in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. George Heckard, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Monday from 12 noon until time of the services.
NANCY I. HALL
Nancy I. Hall, formerly of Paxtang, lost her battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) on Wednesday, February l2th. She leaves behind a great many friends with heavy hearts. Her daughter, Teggy Hall Smith and her son, Jim J. Hall would like to thank all the people who helped with her care and happiness these past three very difficult years.
In addition to her children, she is also survived by two sisters; Gloria Piercey of Harrisburg, and Geraldine Newsom of Caddo Gap, Arkansas, and a brother, Lester Martin of Mechanicsburg. She was the widow of Ned J. Hall.
Nancy was an avid sports fan and now has the best seat in the house for every game. She belonged to Messiah Lutheran Church and was a graduate of John Harris High School.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 18th, at 2:30 p.m. in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Friends are welcome to join in sending her off to a new beginning.
She gave so much to so many in her life. The best way to honor her memory is to help find a cure for the disease that took her from us. LOY E. YOUNG
Loy E. Young, 91, of Hummelstown, and formerly of York New Salem, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2003, in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Township.
Born in York New Salem on April 9, 1911, he was the son of the late John H. and Elizabeth Kate Smith. He was co-owner/operator of Young Brothers Well Drilling. He was a 1928 graduate of York High School. He was the first fire chief of the York New Salem Fire Company having served as chief from 1932 to 1949. He served on the York New Salem Borough Council and its Water Authority. He was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church, York New Salem, where he was a former Deacon and member of the Church Council. He was a life member of the Reliance Fire Company of West York and the Stoverstown Fire Company. He was a founding member of the Brothers of the Bush which was started in 1976 in celebration of the York New Salem Centennial. He was a member of the Water Well Drillers Association. He was a former member of the Hershey Region Automobile Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, gardening, collecting bottles, and hunting for arrow heads.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Margaret P. Welcomer Young whom he married on May 6, 1933; one daughter, JoAnn wife of Robert B. Smith of Hummelstown; one sister, Sara Nispel of York; three grandchildren, Terry A. Smith and Kathy Jo Smith both of Hummelstown, Linda A. Smith of Dover; six great grandchildren, Amanda J. Orfanelli, Jennifer J. Orfanelli, Jarred A. Smith and Scott J. Lebo all of Hummelstown, Cynthia L. Smith and Christine M. Smith both of Lakeland, Florida; and one great great granddaughter, Haley L. Hixon of Hummelstown.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Perry Young and his twin brother Roy Young.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18, at 11 AM in the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 96 George Street, York New Salem, with The Rev. James Emerick and The Rev. John G. Bernheisel, his pastors, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Jacob’s Union Cemetery, York New Salem. Friends are invited to call in the church from 10 AM until time of the services.

EVA M. RUNKLE WOLF
Eva M. Runkle Wolf, 100, of the Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown, and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2003, in the home.
Born in Annville on May 5, 1902, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Emmamatilda "Tillie" Behney Runkle. She was a homemaker. She was a 1920 graduate of Hershey High School. She was a former member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She was Past Matron of the Palmyra Chapter #402 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Wolf, on May 5, 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, Lenore W. Gaffney of Lansdale, and Gwendolyn K. wife of Marlin L. Kruse of Bonita Springs, Florida; four grandsons; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19 at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Wednesday in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the services.

JEAN L. GARRETT COOPER
Jean L. Garrett Cooper, 71, of Hummelstown, passed away Monday, February 10, 2003, in the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Hershey on August 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert Garrett and Grace Raffensperger Garrett Yorty. She retired as a registered nurse having worked at the former Odd Fellows Home, Alpine Nursing Home, and the Harrisburg Hospital. She was a graduate York College of Nursing and a 1949 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Lioness Club both of Hummelstown.
Her husband, LTC (Retired) Robert Cooper, preceded her in death on October 25, 1994.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry A. wife of Larry E. Stegall of Palmyra, and Danielle E. wife of Tim A. Young of York; one son, Daniel A. Cooper of North East, MD; one sister, Evelyn wife of Pastor Russell S. Byers of Hummelstown; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mildred Mumma Garrett of Hummelstown; four grandchildren, Amy J. wife of Keith A. Wilson of Elizabethtown, Brian E. Stegall of Tampa, FL, and Patrick T. Young and Braden M. Young both of York; one aunt, M. Pearl Lam of Palmyra; and one brother-in-law, Larry Peters of Hummelstown.
Memorial services will be held Friday, February 14, 2003, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with Pastor Russell S. Byers pastor of The Way Fellowship Church, Hummelstown. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township. Visitation will be Friday in the funeral home from 10:30 AM until time of the services.
