Mary E. Cookson, 66, of Shirley Circle, Middletown, died Sunday, March 21 in Polyclinic Hospital.
She was a former employee of AMP Inc. and was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Cookson; a son, Thomas of Harrisburg; a daughter, Kathryn Lighty of Elizabethtown; a brother, George Vaile of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at her church with the Rev. John Trigilio Jr., Ph. D. as celebrant and The Rev. Paul Maulfair also officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
The Frank E. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home, Middletown, is handling arrangements.
Visitation will be from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rosy Cox
Rosy Halbleib Cox, 92, of Turnpike Road, Elizabethtown, died Saturday, March 20 at home.
She retired as a seamstress for the former Hesteco Dress Factory, Elizabethtown.
She was the widow of Benny Cox.
She is survived by two sons, Dorsey J. Halbleib with whom she lived and Walter Halbleib of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Sara K. Fenner of Hummelstown and Cora R. Harrison of Yakima, WA; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Good's Mennonite Church Cemetery, Conoy Township, with The Rev. Thomas H. Sanagorski officiating.
There will be no viewing.

Benjamin Shields Jr.
Benjamin F. Shields Jr., 67, of Byron Avenue, Lower Paxton Twp., died Monday, March 22 at home.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.; was a member of Charlton United Methodist Church, Lower Paxton Twp.; and former chief of Citizens Fire Company No. 1, Highspire.
He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Sherriff Shields; two sons, Kenneth J. and Benjamin S. III, both of Lower Paxton Twp.; a daughter, Barbara M. Youtz of Mount Gretna; his mother, Vera L. Shields of Highspire; three brothers, Robert E. and Donald L., both of Highspire, and Jim W. of AZ; a sister, Vera Freet of Middletown; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Knight Funeral Home, Highspire. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

John E. Weatherby, 78, of Lakeside, Arizona, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, died recently in Lakeside.
He was retired from AMP, Inc. and was a Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and American Legion, all of Lakeside; and Catholic War Veterans, Mechanicsburg, PA.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Weatherby; a daughter, Jackie Sosnoskie of Middletown; a stepdaughter, Mary Gregor of MI; a sister, Joan Garay of NJ; and two grandchildren.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.

Helen I. Snyder Handwerk, 93, of the Thornwald Home, Carlisle, formerly of Hummelstown, died Monday, February 1 in the home.
Dale Weirich
Dale M. Weirich, 49, of Adelia Street, Middletown, died Monday, February 1 in Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Dale C. Weirich and Helen Miller Weirich Hancock.
He was a former housekeeper at the medical center and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Lower Swatara Twp.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ross Hancock of Middletown.
Services were held Friday in the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, Middletown with the Rev. Wayne Krell officiating. Burial was in Middletown Cemetery.

Jane L. Urich, 75, of the Middletown Home, Lower Swatara Twp., formerly of Kelso Street, Paxtang, died Wednesday, February 3 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Margaret Yeo
Margaret N. Yeo, 72, of the Frey Village Nursing Center, formerly of East Emmaus Street, both in Middletown, died Thursday, February 4 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was a retired dress factory worker and a Protestant.
She was the widow of John R. Yeo.
She is survived by a sister, Meleese Rupert of Courtland, VA.
Graveside services were held Saturday in Middletown Cemetery.
