Camp Hill - Elmer L. Reed, 88, formerly of Camp Hill, died Monday, Feb. 24 at Frey Village in Middletown.
Born in Williamstown, he was the son of George Elmer and Bessie Foster Reed.
He was owner and operator of Square Deal Coal Company in West Fairfiew and was a distributor for Glass Glaze Auto Polish. He and his wife later purchased and operated the Range Motel in Dillsburg until retirement. Following retirement he worked part time for Reed Chevrolet in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Dillsburg. In the past, he was active in the Pythian organization and a member of the VFW of Wormleysburg.
He was the widower of Marie Anna Reed. Surviving are a son, Sheldon of Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Arthur and Galen and two sisters, Rose and Bessie.
Funeral services were held Feb. 28 at Musselman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. in Lemoyne. Burial was in Rolling Green Memorial Park in Lower Allen Twp.

Louise Bremerman
Williamstown - Louise Cooper Bremerman, 87, formerly of Williamstown and Springfield, died Sunday, Feb. 23 at Granite Farms Estates in Middletown Twp.
She was born and raised in Williamstown and later lived in Springfield for more than 40 years. Following high school graduation, she attended secretary school and worked as a legal secretary for Fronefield and DeFuria Law Firm in Media and also for the county of Delaware.
She was a member of Princeton Presbyterian Church in Springfield and was active in various church activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fielder A. Bremerman. Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 27 at Rigby Harting and Hagan Funeral Home in Media. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.

Esther May Klinger
Hegins - Esther May Klinger, 89, of 1166 Mountain Road, died Monday, Feb. 24 at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 23, 1913 in Williamstown, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Wolfgang Miller.
She was a former member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Fearnot.
She was the widow of Clarence E. Klinger. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Clarence M.; two sisters, Lillie Miller and Edna Fetter; and five brothers, James, Walter, Jacob, Levi and Melvin Miller.
Surviving are a sister, Harriet Wolfe of Fearnot; a brother, Clarence Miller of Lykens; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Feb. 28 at Miller-Berger Funeral Home in Valley View. Burial was in St. Peter's United Methodist Cemetery in Fearnot.
James G. Irving
TOWER CITY - James G. Irving, 88, of 149 E. Wiconisco Ave., died Thursday, Feb. 27 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired clerk from Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1603, both in Tower City.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and served more than 50 years with the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He was the widower of Georgina Frew Irving. Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass was held March 3 at his church. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Williamstown.

Charles E. Coleman
Halifax - Charles E. Coleman, 71, of 41 N. Elmer Ave., died Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Susquehanna Lutheran Village in Millersburg.
Born in Big Run, he was the son of the late Harry and Hilda Buffington Coleman.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the former TRW in Harrisburg. He was a member of the TRW Pioneer Club and the Elizabethville VFW No. 6343, and attended the Valleys United Church of Christ Church in Halifax.
Surviving are his wife, Helen P. Deitrich Coleman; two sons, Robert of Elizabethtown and Doyle of Katy, Tex.; two daughters, Cindy Peist of Columbia, N.J. and Janet Kahler of Berrysburg; a sister, Lorraine Sedessee of Millersburg; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services were held March 1 at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc. in Elizabethville. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

Mary Trynosky
Hometown - Mary Trynosky, 83, of 20 Oxford St., died Thursday, Feb. 27 at Trinity Mission Nursing Center in Shenandoah Heights.
Born Jan. 7, 1920 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Maleska Harviletz.
She was an inspector for Alcoa in Edison, N. J. and was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, George and Charles Harviletz.
Surviving are six sisters, Elizabeth Harviletz and Pauline Sedar, both of Frackville, Sophie Buchspics of Ashland, Margaret Riskis of Tower City, Julia Cresina of Somerville, N.J. and Anna Petrosky of Philadelphia; and a brother, John Harviletz of Mahanoy City.
Funeral services were held March 3 at Nice-Hart Funeral Home, Inc. in Frackville. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J.
Anna E. Walkinshaw
Williamstown - Anna E. "Betty" Walkinshaw, 87, of 242 Spruce St., died Thursday, Feb. 27 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Sept. 8, 1915 in Williamstown, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Shuttlesworth Walkinshaw.
She was a retired clerk from the former Mechanicsburg Navel Base and worked as a secretary at the former Unrivaled Hosiery Company in Williamstown.
She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church and social member of the Williamstown American Legion No. 239.
Surviving are two sisters, Blanche Challenger and Doris Proctor, both of Williamstown.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Julia Weiser
Lykens - Julia Weiser, 84, of 522 Market St., died Saturday, March 1 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Nov. 20, 1918 in Wiconisco Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Runchock.
She was the owner of Julie's Cafe and a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church and Gratz VFW Post No. 2385 Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Earl J. Weiser, two step-sons, Robert of Lykens and Ronald of Schuylkill Haven; a step-daughter, Judith Ann Blank of Little River, S.C.; and three sisters, Sophia Sue Korab of Reinerton, Mary Buren of Frackville and Anna Panikarchuck of Kulpmont.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Runchock.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at John R. Shultz Funeral Home in Lykens. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m., prior to the services. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery in Wiconisco.
