Joseph D. Wallace
Joseph D. "Jay" Wallace, 87, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, April 6, 2001, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born September 3, 1913, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., the son of the late Oliver Michael and Edna (Brindle) Wallace.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Phillip and Raymond Wallace; and sisters, Esther Wallace, Nellie R. Wallace and Rosemary Bruno.
He was a 1932 graduate of North Union High School and retired from Sears Roebuck and Company. He was also employed with the former Union Supply Company stores.
Mr. Wallace was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., and a lifetime member of The Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by three brothers: Robert V. Wallace and his wife, Catherine of Uniontown, Oliver Eugene Wallace and his wife, Mary Louise, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., and Regis F. Wallace of Brook Park, Ohio; two sisters: Patricia Meyer of Millersville, Pa., and Leola Broderick of Uniontown, Pa.; a special friend, Irene O’Brien and family of Masontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, April 10, 2001, until 12:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Street, Uniontown, on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Fr. William Kiel as celebrant and the Rev. Fr. James Bump concelebrating.
Interment followed in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Greensburg, Pa.
Bennie H. Collins Jr.
Bennie H. Collins Jr. "Bimbo", 30, of Uniontown, Pa. died October 11, 2000, in Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born December 14, 1969 in Uniontown, son of Gloria Calloway Collins and the late Bennie H. Collins Sr.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his half-sister, Kitty Hodge.
Surviving are his mother, Gloria Collins of Uniontown; four sisters, Shirley Jones, Willie Capers, Gloria Albert, and Sherise Collins, all of Uniontown; three brothers, Floyd Calloway, Dwayne Calloway, and Aaron Collins, all of Uniontown; a half-sister, Ruth Ann Collins of Brownsville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held from the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000 at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Calloway Sr., Rev. James Calloway Jr., and Rev. Simeon Hatcher officiating.
Jennie Lee Corazzi
Jennie Lee George Corazzi, 89, of Fredericktown, Pa. died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 25, 2000, at 12:38 p.m. in the emergency room of the Brownsville General Hospital.
She was born May 11, 1911 in Leckrone, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of the late Olento George and Italia Bentauini George.
She retired in 1984 as an employee of the Bartoletti Hotel in Fredericktown.
She was a member of the Beth Center Senior Citizens of Vestaburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruno "Slick" Corazzi who died Feb. 19, 1962; one sister, Solesca George; and one brother Boris George.
Surviving are two sons, Leonard A. Corazzi of Fredericktown and Edward G. Corazzi of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ivan George of Erie, Pa.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank, St. Fredericktown Hill, Fredericktown, Pa. from 2 to 9 today where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Edward S. Litavec officiating.
Interment in Fredericktown Cemetery.
Jesse H. Costolo Jr.
Jesse H. Costolo, Jr., 79, of Picayune, Miss., and formerly of Pitcairn, Pa. and Point Marion, Pa., died Tuesday, October 24, 2000, in Picayune, following an extended illness.
He was born in Point Marion and was a son of the late Jesse H. and Lottie Belle Ridgway, Sr.
He was a 1939 graduate of Point Marion High School, and retired from Penn Central Railroad in 1980. He was a member of the Picayune Church of Christ, and a former member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ at Morris Crossroads.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Wilson Costolo; a son, J. Houston Costolo III and his wife Elaine M. Costolo; two grandchildren, Jonathan H. and Claire M. Costolo; and by four nephews, Richard Hager of Ravena, N.Y., Charles Haden, Jr., Robert Haden and Thomas Haden, all of Morgantown, W.Va.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Costolo, Margaret Hager and Beatrice Haden.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion on Sunday from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Art Hanze officiating.
James W. Donaldson
James W. Donaldson, 77, of Warren, Ohio died Wednesday, October 25, 2000, at his residence.
Prior to his retirement in 1988, he worked as a meat cutter for Macalis Giant Eagle in Niles, Ohio, and had also worked as a meat cutter in the Warren and Youngstown area.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys M. Honsaker Donaldson; a son, James Donaldson II of Howland, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. John (Cindy) Denno of Howland, Ohio; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brothers, Jack and Tom Donaldson, both of Oliphant Furnace, Pa.; and sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Moser of West Leisenring, Pa., Mrs. Irene Lynn of Brookpark, Ohio, and Mrs. William (Donna) Smith of Hopwood, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Selby-Cole Funeral Home, Crown Hill Chapel at 3966 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, Ohio today from 4 to 8 p.m., and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, the time of service.
Margaret Doria
Margaret Doria, 89, of Grindstone, Pa. passed away Thursday, October 26, 2000, in Mount Macrina Manor in Uniontown.

Pauline Dubovich
Pauline Dubovich, 77, of New Salem, Pa., passed away Thursday, October 26, 2000, in the Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown.
She was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Buffington, Pa., daughter of the late Steve and Kathryn Holuk Lopushansky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Dubovich Jr.; and the following brothers and sisters: Steve, Joseph, and John Lopushansky, Mary Molek and Katherine King.
Pauline was a retired LPN, having worked for the former Weimer Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem; and past member and president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Footedale Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are two sons, Steve Dubovich of New Salem and George Dubovich and his wife Diana of Masontown; three grandchildren, P.J. Dubovich, Dara Dubovich, and Bob and wife Gen Parnell of Germany; one great-grandchild, Caleb Howard; a daughter-in-law, Rita Dubovich from Wichita, Kan.; and the following brothers and sisters: George and wife Audrey of Cleveland, Ohio, Peter and wife Kiyoko of Harrisburg, Pa., Ann Rester of Revere, and Mrs. Stanley (Bertha) Butwinski of Parma, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

June I. Grimm, 64, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday in Greensburg.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Grimm; a son, Timothy Grimm of Lansing, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. David (Lena) Mears of Clarence, Iowa; four grandchildren; three brothers, Frank McConnell of Mount Pleasant, Charles McConnell and Gerald McConnell of the state of Calif. and seven sisters, Mrs. Donald (Carol) Smith of Ravenna, Ohio, Ruth Washburn of Huron, Ohio, Elsie Zylka, Alice Kreinbrook, Mrs. Lloyd (Mary) May, Mrs. William (Rosalie) Garchar and Mrs. Joseph (Jean) Michalczyk all of Mount Pleasant.

Jerry A. Harris III
Jerry A. Harris III, age 5 months, of Uniontown, Pa., son of Jerry Harris Jr. and Toni Burchfield, quietly slipped away Wednesday, October 25, 2000.
He was born May 4, 2000 in Uniontown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Kima, Khai, and Rhiana, all of Uniontown; paternal grandparents, Jerry Harris Sr. and wife Beverly of Uniontown; maternal grandparents, Donna Tunstell and Frank Tunstell of Uniontown, and Leroy Brown and wife of Montgomery, Ala.; uncles, Mylan and Brandon Harris, and Nathan Burchfield, all of Uniontown; aunts, Donna Wade, and Tere’s Grigsby of Uniontown; other great-aunts, uncles, cousins; and other relatives.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. today from 5 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frank Jacobs officiating.

Beverlyn Norman
Beverlyn N. Roth Norman, 58, of Scottdale, died Tuesday in Homer City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.
Michael W. Persin
Michael W. Persin, 51, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Deemston Borough, died Wednesday, October 25, 2000, at 11:35 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born March 4, 1949 in Washington, Pa., son of Virginia Lauderback Persin Yorty of Uniontown and the late John J. Persin.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Uniontown.
Michael was a 1967 graduate of Beth Center High School and retired in June of 1999 as Chief of Police of Centerville Borough and he had served as a policeman for a total of 25 years.
On May 4, 1976, he graduated from the Pa. State Police Academy for Local Police.
He is a member of the Teamsters Local 870, and he was a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970, serving as a tank commander in the Seventh Calvary.
He was also a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, member of the Centerville Sportsmen’s Club and the National Rifle Association.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Judith Kadar Persin, who he married on Sept. 4, 1997; two brothers, John J. Persin of Fredericktown and Gary Yorty of Uniontown; one stepson, Richard Bowers Jr. of Chester, Pa.; stepdaughters, Paula Nicole Jackson of Havertown, Pa., and Brenda Lee Jackson of Claymont, Del.; four step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Route 40, Beallsville, Pa. where services will be held Monday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Klinedinst and Charles Miller, associate lay pastor, officiating.
Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
