Bonnie Ann Capin Valentic, 54, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2000, in her home.
She was born March 2, 1946, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Martin G. Capin and Anna Elizabeth Schiffbauer Capin.
She was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church.
Bonnie worked for several years as a Service Representative for Bell Atlantic.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck A. Valentic; her loving children: sons, Martin A. Valentic and wife, Jennifer of Washington, Pa.; and Rich A. Valentic of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Julie A. Valentic, at home; grandchildren, Joshua R. and Nicholas R. Valentic; a sister, Jane Hutchinson and husband, Jack Hutchinson of Hopwood; nieces, Jennifer A. Hutchinson, Jill E. Hutchinson and Jaclyn R. Hutchinson; and a nephew, Jeffrey J. Hutchinson.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., Uniontown, today until 9 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian burial in St. Therese R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini as celebrant.
Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Mabel E. Blackstone
Mabel E. Blackstone, 87, of Connellsville died Wednesday in LaFayette Manor Personal Care Home, Uniontown.
She is survived by a son, Robert E. Blackstone of Youngstown, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Carolyn E.) Miller of Connellsville and Shirely A. Welling of Connellsville; one brother, Walter Shallenberger of Connellsville; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville today from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 pm. and Saturday until 11 a.m.
Francis Andrew Chuey
Francis Andrew Chuey, 71, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, February 28, 2000 in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall, Pa.
He was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Uledi, Pa., son of the late Michael P. and Anna C. (Baran) Chuey Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Steve, John, Andrew and Michael Chuey Jr., and Mary Mouser and Anna Manyak.
Francis was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean war, and was a printer for magazine publications.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. (Solly) Chuey; two sons, Robert Chuey of Lansing, Mich., David Chuey and wife Patricia of Brunswick, Md.; and three sisters, Margaret Kuchno of Baily Crossroads, Va., Josephine Hawkins of Manassas, Va. and Matilda Mack of Arlington, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Private visitation was held for the family Thursday in THE HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC, 139 W. Fayette Street, Uniontown.
The family will receive friends today until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Therese R.C. Church.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
Blanche E. Crago
Blanche E. Crago, 94, a resident of Beverly Healthcare and formerly of the Footedale Lambert Road, died Thursday, March 2, 2000 in Beverly Healthcare, Uniontown.
She was born May 29, 1905 in German Township, daughter of the late Eli and Mary Johnson Crago.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the following brothers and sister: Lloyd, Ray, Guy, Harold, Roy, Miles, and Russell Crago, and a sister, Marie Fearer.
She was a member of the New Salem Presbyterian Church where she attended the Fowler Class.
A former employee of the Union Supply Company at Footedale, she was also a retired employee of the Albert Gallatin School District.
Blanche is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem today from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the New Salem Presbyterian Church with Rev. Phillip A. Maronde officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
Clyde O. Ice Jr.
Clyde O. Ice Jr., 75, of Continental 3, Uniontown, Pa. passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at Life Care in Wilkensburg, Pa.
He was born December 25, 1924 in Fairchance, Pa., son of the late Clyde O. Ice and Verna Evans Ice Spiker.
Clyde was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was formerly employed as a steel worker at US Steel, Clairton Works.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Betty Jane Hiles Ice; children: Sandra Nakamura of Woodbridge, Va., Clyde Ice III of Fort Myers, Fla., Roger L. Ice, Betty Jane Ice and Donald F. Ice, all of Uniontown, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Gertrude Hice of Uniontown, Thelma Keefer of Connellsville, Samuel Spiker of Smithfield, Edna Volkijan of Smithfield, Lester Spiker of Uniontown and Ruth Palokat of the state of Florida.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 WEST CHURCH STREET, FAIRCHANCE, PA. on Saturday, March 4, 2000 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
A Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home with Rev. Gary McFadden officiating.
Interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.

Mary Marshall Lukowski
Mary Marshall Lukowski, 100, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, February 28, 2000, in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown.
She was born July 15,1899 in Brodford, Pa., daughter of the late Matthew and Josephine (Dubeck) Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julian F. Lukowski in 1972; four brothers; and four sisters.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by three children: Rita MC Kito of Aliquippa, Pa., Theresa Hunt and husband Richard of San Antonio, Texas, and Joseph Lukowski and wife Mary Alice of Strasburg, Va.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three great-great-great grandchildren; many caring nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Thomas Marshall of Uniontown, Pa.; and a special friend and caregiver, Anne Hobi.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC, 139 West Fayette St., Uniontown today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 4, 2000 until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church with Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Karen Y. Marilungo
Karen Yvonne Marilungo, 43, of Lemont Furnace, Pa. died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 1, 2000 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born on August 3, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Adam and Beverly Moyer Marilungo of Lemont Furnace.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Christina Piccolomini Marilungo; her maternal grandparents, Jacob and Millie Yauger Moyer; and an infant brother, Kent Marilungo.
Karen was a 1974 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and had worked at her parent's restaurant, Giovanni's in Uniontown.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Richelle Yvonne Marilungo, at home; two brothers, Keith Marilungo and his wife Emily of Uniontown, and Kevin Marilungo and Pam of Lemont Furnace; three nephews, Keith Marilungo Jr. and his wife Kristy, Kirk Marilungo, and Kent Marilungo.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 4, 2000 from 12 noon until 1 p.m., the hour of service with Mr. Merrill Spiker presiding.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Helen McGuire
Helen Mildred McGuire, 86, of South San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Connellsville and Dickerson Run died Tuesday.
She is survived by a son, John Richard McGuire of Etna, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Koontz Davis of South San Francisco, Calif., six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville.
Earl M. Patterson
Earl M. Patterson, 79, of Waynesburg, Pa. died Thursday, March 2, 2000 in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.
Mr. Patterson was a laborer and superintendent with R.G. Johnson Company for 35 years and after retirement in 1986, he owned and operated Patterson Auto Repair.
Surviving are five children: Earl M. Patterson Jr., Helen Patterson, Larry Patterson, Joan Patterson and Jane Patterson, all of Waynesburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers: Robert Patterson, Charles Raymond Patterson, Lester Patterson, all of Waynesburg, and William Patterson of New Kensington; and two sisters, Mildred Sokol of Carmichaels and Lucille Ferguson of Toledo, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., Greene St., Jefferson and on Saturday, March 4, 2000 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service.
