Gordon Eugene Thompson, 85, of Fairchance, Pa. passed away Thursday, March 2, 2000 at the family home.
He was born Sept. 24, 1914 in Fairchance, Pa., son of the late Junius Thompson Smith.
Gordon was a graduate of Fairchance High School and attended the Mergenthaler Linotype School in Brooklyn, New York.
He was a printer by trade and for many years was the owner and operator of Thompson Printing Company in Uniontown from which he retired in 1983.
Surviving are his nephew, James Gordon Smith and wife Barbara; two grandnephews; a grandniece; six great-nephews; cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 WEST CHURCH STREET, FAIRCHANCE, PA. this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, March 4, 2000 until 2 p.m., the hour of service with Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating.

Joseph J. Bodosky
Joseph J. Bodosky, 86, of Jefferson, Pa., died Thursday, May 4, 2000, in Washington Hospital.
Mr. Bodosky was a retired coal miner from Gateway Coal Company.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Christina Bodosky; five children, Joseph Bedosky of Henderson, Nev., Charles Bedosky of Belton, Mo., Matthew Bedosky of Asheville, N.C., Mary Ann Krisko of Portage, and Michael Bedosky of Portage; and two sisters, Victoria Kolat of Waynesburg, and Mary Krisko of Portage.
Friends will be received in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., Greene Street, Jefferson, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m., the hour of service.
William J. Bradmon
William Joseph "Bill" Bradmon, 78, died Wednesday evening, May 3, 2000, at his residence.
Mr. Bradmon was born in Fayette County, Pa., a son of the late Robert R. Bradmon and Lula V. Bradmon.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt. Colonel, and was a veteran of World War II. He was the owner and operator of Bradmon's Woodworking Shop, a member of Baptist Temple Church, where he served as a former Deacon, and was a member of the Reidsville Elks Lodge 1723.
Surviving are his wife, Kitty King Bradmon of the Home; the following children, Marilyn Bradmon Howerton and husband, Mike of Reidsville, Jerry Bradmon and wife, Jan Tindal of Reidsville, Larry Bradmon and wife, Angela of Lincolnton, N.C., and Beth Bradmon Monday and husband, Terry of Greenville, N.C.; and grandchildren, Brian Howerton, Erin Dail and husband, Rick, Jenny Bradmon, Bonnie Bradmon, Carla Bradmon, Caroline Monday, Morgan Monday, Briana Barrier and husband, Walt and Austin Tindal; a great-grandson, Alex Barrier; and a brother, Robert Bradmon of Brownsville, Pa.
The family will receive friends in the WILKERSON FUNERAL HOME, Reidsville, N.C., today from 7 to 9 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 11 a.m., in Baptist Temple Church. Interment will be in Greenview Cemetery. Mellon Dragich
Mellon "Buzz" Dragich, 77, of Maple Valley, Wash., formerly of Merritt Island, Fla., died Friday, April 14, 2000, in Valley Medical Center, Renton, Wash.
He was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Canonsburg, Pa., son of the late Mr. Nick Dragich and Sophia Journal Dragich.
He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 24 years, retiring in 1988, and he served in the U.S. Navy, during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Betty E. Kulen, whom he married on May 6, 1946; a son, Darryl Dragich of Maple Valley; a daughter, Judy Bandlow of Kent, Wash.; a brother, Nick Dragich Jr., of Washington, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Jessica Bandlow.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Adele.
Arrangements were handled by the YAHN & SON FUNERAL HOME, Auburn, Wash. Interment in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash.
Helen E. Dulla
Helen E. (Repa) Dulla, 87, of Republic, Pa., passed away Thursday, May 4, 2000, at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1912, the daughter of the late Steve and Bertha Repa.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Republic, and a former member of the church choir. Helen and her husband were former owners of the Graystone Hotel, Republic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Moxi Dulla, in 1955; sisters, Anna Stotka, Nellie Comparda, Josephine Dailey, Irene Tehi and Lottie Repa, in infancy; and brothers, Stanley, John and Joseph Repa.
Surviving are sisters, Bertha Nitch of Republic, and Louise McKenzie of Cumberland, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday, May 8, 2000, until 9:30 a.m., when a prayer service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m., in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Mark Purnell as celebrant. Interment will be Holy Rosary Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Eva L. Jaynes
Eva Lou (Ferguson) Jaynes, 92, of Connellsville, Pa., died Thursday, May 4, 2000, in Lint's Personal Care Home.
She was born March 16, 1908, in South Connellsville, a daughter of the late David Lloyd and Anna Hoffmeister Ferguson. Eva was a former resident of South 8th St., in Connellsville.
She was a graduate of Connellsville High School, and during her life worked for the Silk Mill in Connellsville, Levin's Furniture Store, and for the Connellsville Housing Authority. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Connellsville, and was also a member of the Community Choral Group.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Ferguson of Kenner, La.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard M. Bill "Whitey" Jaynes on Nov. 9, 1994; a sister, Dorothy Elizabeth McManis; and three brothers, Edward, John and David Ferguson.
Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green St., Connellsville, today from 2 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Moscowitz officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Restoration Fund 2000, 126 Fairview Ave., Connellsville, PA 15425, in her memory.
Evelyn J. Karoffa
Evelyn J. (Meosky) Karoffa, 71, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Tuesday, May 2, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Ralph, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Magda) Meosky.
Mrs. Karoffa was a member of Saint Mary's (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, was a graduate of German Township High School, Class of 1946, and was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union.
Surviving are her loving husband, Steve Karoffa, with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage on April 24; her brother, Paul R. Meosky of Grand Island, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS Cemetery, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 6, 2000, until 8:30 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m., in St. Joseph R.C. Church. Entombment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held this evening at 8 p.m.
Julia J. Lisac
Julia J. (Constantine) Lisac, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born July 21, 1919, in Dearth, daughter of the late Nick and Nellie Barretta Constantine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lisac Sr., in 1968; a brother, Anthony Constantine; and two sisters, Rose Ford and Jennie Cook.
Surviving are a son, George Lisac and his wife, Michele and a grandson, Ryan, all of Uniontown; three sisters, Mary Mehallic of Lorain, Ohio, Elizabeth Cicconi of Uniontown, and Catherine Tuckish and her husband, Steve of Smock; three brothers, Robert Constantine and his wife, Evelyn and William Constantine and his wife, Theresa, all of Smock, and Eugene Constantine and his wife, Marie of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church and the churches Women Scripture Study group.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, on today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at which time a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Therese R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini V.F., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery.
Kathalea Orlosky
Kathalea Orlosky, 80, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at 3:50 p.m., in Fairfax Nursing Center, Fairfax, Va.
She was born Sept. 29, 1919, the daughter of the late John Joseph and Missouri Martin Rembold.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwood Helmick; and a brother, Robert.
Kathalea was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Carmichaels.
She is survived by her second husband, Andrew R. Orlosky; the following children: Mrs. Roger (Peggy) Dick of Lititz, Pa., Mrs. Leonard (Jackie) Shoemaker of Trenton, Mich., John Helmick and wife, Pat of Payson, Ariz., Robert Orlosky and wife, Betty of Fairfax Station, Va., and William Orlosky of Aberdeen, Md.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Rembold of Lake Worth, Fla.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Carol Sipes officiating. Interment will be in Eglon Cemetery, Kingwood, W.VA.
Sophia Sepic
Sophia (Rogish) Sepic, 85, of North Oaks, Minn., formerly of Isabella and York Run, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in the White Bear Lake Nursing Facility, White Bear Lake, Minn.
She was born Aug. 28, 1914, in Puritan, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Stanka Rogish.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sepic in 1974; a daughter, Cynthia Sepic; brothers, Nick and Charles Rogish and Jim and George Kattalia; and sisters, Ann Gotch, Stana Butch and Drauga Cseko.
She was a Charter Member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
Surviving are three children, Mary Anne Saadat and husband, Dr. Manoocher Saadat of North Oaks, Minn., Joe Sepic and wife, Michele of Hopwood, Pa., and George Sepic and wife, Sally of Hanover, Pa.; six grandchildren, Shirin and David Saadat, George Sepic Jr., and John, Suzanne and Jennifer Sepic; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Sepic; and a brother, Mike Rogish of Smithfield R.D. 2, Pa.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2000, at noon in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Fr. Rodney Torbic as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
